Is there a way to select a random character from a certain user?
Say I want to draw one of my characters, but I want the character to be randomly picked out
just a small hub of a lot of the questions i see get posted often.
feel free to ask any basic questions, although probably around 3/4 of the time, if it's not answered here,
i'll probably direct you to making a help ticket because it's probably an issue
or bug mods will have to answer.
please note this is all unofficial and not run by mods!!
MelodyNosurname - there's actually two ways to do that; either with a direct link to an mp3 file (explained at [ Audio Player code ; F2U ]) or via YT links (as seen in codes like F2U | Plastic Love and [F2U] iPod).
Unrelated to that, for some reason I can't edit this character. It did the same with the avatar for several attempts earlier this week and it's specifically only him.

Yeah, pretty much everyone on this site are facing these issues right now, so the best thing you could do at the moment is to send a ticket to the helpdesk.
Suggestion: were as the Creator/designer of a character you can choose whether or not it can be deleted off the website
and maybe be able to see that it's still on the website when it's hidden we just can't View the character
suggestion 2: if a account is being deleted you can select all characters and choose whether to send the characters back to the design or back to a different account or back to their previous owners
musicpaintpaw123 ; so suggestions like this is probably better to bring up to mods via a help ticket however I can definitely say that there is very little chance of either happening.
For 2, if a user deleted their account on toyhouse they still own their characters and whatever rights conferred to them upon purchase/trade/creation. A mass trade option might be nice if yourr moving accounts or something but there's no reason to send a design back upon deletion since its still the owners.
Thats the same reason why I doubt #1 would be an option. Designers who want to guarantee there's a copy of work they've done already make blank characters that just show off their design work so that if thr new owner is on private or isn't on site, there's a copy so people can see what they can do.
Schniffles this was definitely suggested in the past but unfortunately I don't remember if there was an official call if that will become possible or not. I know you can sorta do it with split tabs but that can be a lot of work e3e
I think we should be able to link galleries between a character's tabs, or something similar! For example, I'll use Violet, though it goes for most of my characters as well, she has an extended profile tab, which is pretty much just all of her information so that her profile isn't overwhelming with lots of info right away. But, all of her images are in her main profile, so if you want to read her information and look at her gallery you'd have to go back and forth, or open another page to have both. I think it would be easier if all the images could be found in both places, but I don't want to have to put them all twice for two separate galleries and have it look like she has twice the images. I think it might just be nice if when you're making or editing tabs with separate galleries, you can check a box for it to share the gallery with the main page or maybe even another tab, or leave it unchecked for it to have it's own gallery. That way, when images are added to one gallery, they'll also appear in the other but not show up like they're two separate things. For the characters part on the image, it could just have something like [Name] + [Tab Name], or just [Tab] / [Tabs] and you can click to expand and see what the tabs are, instead of having it show up like separate characters. It could also be done in a way that's probably better / neater, of course, this is just a bit of an idea of how it could work!
Miner5431 this functionality is built in: you just add the tab as a character on the main image and it will show up both times. only issue is that you're going to have to do it individually and it counts the image twice for the purposes of "how many images does this character have" (once for being in the main profile and once in the tab even though it's the same image).
one way you can get around it? if you're okay with a bit of coding, you can always have a "click for more info" and have the expanded profile show on the main page via tabs or similar so that way people opt into seeing the expanded every time they view it.
