[bug?]
i seem to be having difficulty uploading images of new characters & i’m not being given the option to crop icons or picture uploads on ANY character, not just new …
is it just me, or…?
just a small hub of a lot of the questions i see get posted often.
feel free to ask any basic questions, although probably around 3/4 of the time, if it's not answered here,
i'll probably direct you to making a help ticket because it's probably an issue
or bug mods will have to answer.

towerreversed so! I just tested and I can change thumbnail but the actual upload is... much slower than normal. If you still have this issue pls put in a ticket!
Sketchlia I think that's partly why TH has relative time stamps (content posted X days, Y hours, Z minutes ago) but! To deal with the meat of the question: showing current local time isn't necessarily hard but showing every post relative to one's local time is not. Even sites that show everything in local time does a LOT of things on the backend to do that. Most sites have a server time, and does a lot of bs to display what that time is relative to local time and it's... not a happy looking code in my experience.
I can't confirm for every place adopts can be sold but I do know deviantart also works on relative time instead of a concrete one (which is why whenever I try for dainties i had to do time conversions and alarms lol)
[Bug?]
When someone has turned a character to "Only Me" visibility, that character can no longer be removed from my favorites. Using the Favorites Manager does not work, either. Are there any plans/any ways to remove a favorite outside of this? I know I have favorites that I would prefer to remove, but I cannot.
Retro oh yeah that's... definitely a bug. Huh. I would definitely put a ticket with an example of a character that you can no longer access and cannot remove from your faves!

Don't know if this has been suggested yet, but a feature to preview your warning's page of your character and/or profile.
Flaame idk if this has been suggested but you can always view the warning via incognito mode / using another browser (so long as your characters aren't logged in/list only. If they are you have to generate a character key link and use that).
There's now apps that let you test profiles such as safehouse and curclejourney's tester if you want to play around with a code before putting it on your profiles
[bug] ?
whenever i finish editing a character's main page,
the character's split tabs are suddenly placed into the same folder where the main page is located.
for example, the character encircled in blue is the main page. i finished editing his profile, saved, and then suddenly his split tabs are right here in the folder... (this also happened once before, as i just finished editing the character named "Barii"
i'm using microsoft windows and firefox.
[bug?] since two days ago I have been having a lot of latency issues with TH while browsing. Additionally, whenever I try to upload an image or change a thumbnail I get an error such as:
"Hmmm… can't reach this page
It looks like the webpage at https://toyhou.se/~images/upload/18426689 might be having issues, or it may have moved permanently to a new web address."
dragami - TH effectively treats split tabs as its own character whixh is why they're showing up in your folder. If you don't want them to have their own profile in your folsers make them "full" tabs instead. This feature is working as it is supposed to!
Laelius - can't say anything about any connection issues but you should probably check to make sure thr file you're uploading isn't too big because that can cause issues. If the image is under the site limit you might want to either try another browser or do a help desk ticket
I failed to make some clarifying statements. The split tabs have been residing in their own separate folders for years. When I update the parent's character's page, the split tabs suddenly appear in the parent's character's folder.
I am not creating new tabs. Old tabs are suddenly being moved. I provided a recording to help describe what I mean.
Before today I've been updating the parent character's regularly and I've never had this happen. Maybe this is a new feature but...??? 😅
dragami OH! yeah that's a totally separate issue. Hmm. I remember this happening in the past (with split tabs mysteriously showing up in different folders) but I don't recall what caused it or how it was fixed (although I'm fairly sure an update caused something to Bork last time) or even if there was a fix. I would suggest putting in a Help Desk ticket - the video was very helpful in explaining the issue btw!
I cannot seem to credit multiple people for one image. I keep getting the error "The artist_url.1 format is invalid. The artist_url.2 format is invalid"
I'm trying to credit myself for the color and Tuketi on DA for the lineart. I've tried every variation I can think of for crediting the line artist including www.deviantart.com/tuketi, http://www.deviantart.com/tuketi/, deviantart.com/tuketi, and www.deviantart.com/tuketi/
I've even tried crediting tuk as the base artist, not using a credit note at all, and everything I can think of but I'm out of options.
