Natsuki is ace/aro and has no interest in a relationship whatsoever. While she mainly says that she doesn't have time for one/not interested, she also secretly thinks she's not good enough for anyone.
I know there are LGBTQIA+ threads, and I'm almost certain there's been a thread for ace folks of all types, but I'm lazy! Show me your ace folks, tell me a bit about them, their quest, favorite color, and if they'd own a swallow.
To start, I'll go with Yaime:
He's, as far as I know, very asexual/aromantic and was, in fact, "scouted" by his Homeland for this - being seen as asexual/aromantic is considered to be one of the desirable traits that helps you be the best King/Queen. They do not allow for inheritance of the throne based on blood. His goals center around aiding his people and ensuring prosperity for them and future generations. His favorite color is yellow and he has several birds, owning a menagerie that he supports so his people can see parts of the world they've never been able to go to.
as an aro ace, I'm so glad I found this thread yudfgcdb- mostly because I have a good amount of characters who are at least on the ace spectrum (with the vast majority of them being ace or demi iirc)... it's literally the only thing I tend to project onto my characters when I develop them tbh?? like. I can't see half of my characters being sexually or romantically attracted to just anyone, and y'know what? good for them lmao. I'm not gonna include all of my ace spectrum characters for the sake of brevity though, so...
both of the protagonists of my respective lores, Fyodor and Fitzgerald, are ace!! Fyodor isn't sex-repulsed, just doesn't feel attracted to anyone that way. Fitzgerald, meanwhile, is sex-repulsed af, and he's romance-repulsed too. the former isn't aro at all since he had a wife whom he loved a lot, and is currently in a romantic relationship. the latter is a bit more of a clusterfuck as I left his romantic orientation blank/up to interpretation out of not giving a shit about whether he ends up in a romance or not; however, I do lean a bit towards making him a disaster aro who can't tell the difference between platonic and romantic feelings, so don't be surprised if I end up making him that later on lmao.
they're both my disaster lore babies, and as much as they don't represent me in any way (nor are they really comfort characters for me), I can't see them as allo - at least when it comes to the sexual attraction part - and so they've essentially become the headliners of my ace spectrum character pile. :"))
I have just a bunch of aspec/arospec character bc i myself am a-and-aro-spec so i kinda forget that the majority of other people typically are interested in those things ^^;

I'm aro-ace myself but I've only really recently realized that one of my OCs was starting to lean both aro & ace, Kei. I've had this character for such a long time that he's kind of grown along with me but in the current setting I have him in, he's leaning towards antagonist as he's become more jaded. When Kei was younger he thought he was in love but eventually realized he was just lonely because the person he "loved" was actually quite terrible to him and Kei just wanted company. He was like 14~16 when that was going on. Later he moved on and meets my Wild Card OC Luchera which makes Kei slowly realize his own sexuality, though he keeps this to himself. MUCH later on and at the current point I'm focusing on, Kei pondered platonic feelings for the group he travelled with but he hecked that up, majorly.
Overall, Kei is trying to figure out what happened to his family, why he's 50-ish years into the future, and help a possibly-good-possibly-bad organization with it's missions, first aid, and research. Sexuality is at the back of his mind but certain that he's at least asexual, aromantic is ?? for him still.
I guess like others have mentioned, I have ended up with quite a few aro/ace spectrum characters because they reflect my sexuality (therefore they come a lot more naturally for me to play).
Marty is ace, but panromantic. He's incredibly uncomfortable about sex but he is full of love.
Driscoll is demi, but a highly polarized aromantic. He is utterly incapable and disinterested in showing any affection.
Errol is both ace/aro. He's completely disinterested in either making or showing love but he actually makes a chill traveling companion. He isn't easy being a friend to however, mostly because he leans towards being detached emotionally in general.
Oh, almost forgot to add Yukiko! She's asexual panromantic. But she's not unwilling to have sex with someone she's especially close with.
Shrike here is asexual, his favorite color is brown, and he probably would own a swallow if he wasn't so preferential about the falcons he raises. :P He's essentially a crazy bird guy who lives on a mostly uninhabited island with only him, the local wildlife, and his falcons. He's far away from human interaction and living the dream. ^^;
I'm not ace myself, so most of my characters are allosexual/romantic. I do have a few ace and/or aro characters, though.
Basil is biromantic and asexual. His bf is Kaleb, who is also ace. Neither of them would own a swallow.
Florence, an HP OC, is heteromantic asexual. She's pretty open about it. Her favorite color is bluish purple and if given the opportunity, she would own a swallow.
Malachi is aro/ace. They probably already do have a swallow. They used to be super inhuman-like, but I don't like the look of a low-morality, high-insanity person being my only aro, so I tried to humanize them more. (Besides Mercury, but I don't use her much and I have her hidden.)
I have a few but my newest one is Cy - she's ace, but I haven't decided on her romantic orientation yet, if any [meaning if that would be something to show up in the stories]. Tho it has been waning more on the aro side.
She likes to use the idea that she's "too busy working on her career to worry about relationships"... and given that she's a full time thief I'd say that's a smart move as one flame headed detective could catch up to her very quickly if she stayed long in one place for someone hahaha. I'm still working her character out at the moment so there's not much else I can say - at least relating to this topic.
Her quest is to be free and drink milkshakes [oh and also be the best thief around], eventually save her sisters from the same Continuum she was trapped in where she gained her skills in thievery and disguises, her favorite color is purple, ans she would TOTALLY own a swallow. Probably a robotic one too to help her on the job.

Tipi is a 14 year old boy living in a mansion full of only ghosts - his family! His main quest in the stories [currently unnamed] is to find the town's founder's son, an inventor named Fillbrick, in order to save the mansion Tipi lives in from being bought and more than likely torn apart by some out of town business woman whose about as old as the town itself. Each place he visits with his two best friends are kooky and full of new ghosts and as the three make their way around the world trying to find anything about Fillbrick they slowly learn that Marionette [the business woman] is far more sinister then they thought and plans to use the town, Tipi's family, and many other things they've seen over the course of the story for her own nefarious reasons. On top of that he is very asexual and finds it hard to understand why so many people keep asking him about which of his friends he's in love with or why that should even matter because?? of course he loves them?? they're his best friends?? you're supposed to love your friends???
His favorite color is sky blue and he would never own a swallow but he would happily build a bird house or feeder for them specifically in his backyard and take care of them.

This is my beloved child Sibyl! She's ace and biromantic, and she's a very good girl aaaaa. She's overall grumpy, cynical, independent, and brutally honest. She's also probably the most loyal friend you could ever ask for. She's stupidly confident and will not hesitate to dropkick someone should they talk crap about those she cares about. She's,, very much unafraid of fighting for her beliefs, to say the least.
Outside of her story canon she's in a happy, purely romantic relationship with her boy Doppler. The two are both jaded and been through a ton, but are helping each other through it all. They're highly supportive of each other and are just big goods. She's also got her closest pal Ellie, the duo are complete opposites but get along incredibly well. I'm thinking in canon they maaaay end up together but idk yet haha.
