I used to identify as an ace for almost a decade so I ended up having lot of OCs to reflect that haha. All mine are under this tag, including aroace (I'm pretty sure in my current roster all my aros are also aces but not all aces are aro) but here's Waltz who is both aro and ace!
I know there are LGBTQIA+ threads, and I'm almost certain there's been a thread for ace folks of all types, but I'm lazy! Show me your ace folks, tell me a bit about them, their quest, favorite color, and if they'd own a swallow.
To start, I'll go with Yaime:
He's, as far as I know, very asexual/aromantic and was, in fact, "scouted" by his Homeland for this - being seen as asexual/aromantic is considered to be one of the desirable traits that helps you be the best King/Queen. They do not allow for inheritance of the throne based on blood. His goals center around aiding his people and ensuring prosperity for them and future generations. His favorite color is yellow and he has several birds, owning a menagerie that he supports so his people can see parts of the world they've never been able to go to.
Volxun is aro/ace!! She's a sentient alien who is studying humans under the cover of a captured specimen. Her homeworld had very... "intense" mating rituals. She found none of them appealing at all, and never felt the urge or need to partake in them. As such, she now is entirely focused on her occupation, having the advantage of not being tied down to a mate!

Ahh Captain Ballius; feared outlaw of numerous star systems, notorious camp asexual. He's unattainable, but has no qualms about physical closeness. I wouldn't exactly call it romance, though; any relationship with him would tend towards unhealthy thanks to his deeply manipulative nature - maybe an enrapturing experience, but not one I would recommend.
His quest is to acquire knowledge about everything he finds interesting, to make his existence in this universe a bearable fancy. His favourite colour is deep purple.
He would certainly own a swallow, he spent many years as an animal behaviorist/xenoanthropologist in his youth and understands the care and training of animals. I could easily imagine him having a bunch of tame ones that stop by seasonally in a nestbox outside the window of his house.
My best boy Roxel is aromantic! He's a rogue who generally hates everyone and also hates relationships so that works out pretty well for him. Well, except for the little stray who he's kind of become a weird funky bad influence parent / uncle / ??? to. His quest is.. Uh.. Hm. Probably piss off all the clan cats, that's always good. His favourite color would have to be purple, like his collar, and if he owned a swallow he'd probably eat it, so..
I won Caraval in a WTA and a big piece of his character is his being ace & aro, else he and Asloni might have a very different type of relationship. He's not very fleshed out yet, though, since I haven't played with him much since I won him. All I know is that flirting goes way over his head because he's just completely oblivious and uninterested.
