My first OC❤️
There are threads like this one to show off our first characters ever created, but I'm curious about another question: who's the first character you uploaded to Toyhouse (or earliest that you still have, if you no longer have the first)?
Are they the same as your first character ever, or different? If you had multiple characters at the time you signed up, what made that one the character you uploaded first? Are they a favorite or special or important to you, or was it a random choice? Are they still important to you now?
If you're not sure who you uploaded first, you can sort your characters by oldest to find out!
My answer:
In my case, the first character I uploaded was Jill, and then I uploaded the rest of her band, all of her rivals' band, then other important characters from my comic. Jill isn't one of my older characters, she isn't my favorite, and I would probably say Amber (my second character uploaded) is the main character of my comic, but Jill, her best friend and bandmate, would be a very close second. Still, Jill has been a central character in my stuff for 18 years, even an avatar/alter ego of sorts once upon a time, and she's the leader of her band, so I'm not very surprised I uploaded her first.
Leomi was my first character on here because of the four buns she's a part of, she's my favorite <3 I love em all but she just gives me special amounts of dopamine
not the first oc i uploaded but the first i still have,, he was the second oc i ever had,, and the first i made way back in 2014 i think!
he does not really have a personaily (yes it has been like 9 years) but i really do still love him i just like to get him drawn occasionally
need to make him a better ref because oh is it crusty
You can tell because of all the crusty old art he has. It's been almost three years and he still doesn't have a proper ref.
I have a couple of other characters that are older then him but that's just because they have been around this website a lot longer than him.
I’ve had this character since 6th or 7th grade and they used to be my sona. They’re one of the only super old ocs (considering super old as ocs from before 2017) I still own and they’re super important to me. I uploaded them first bc they were my sona at the time :)
This was my first OC uploaded, I did have multiple OCs at the time.
I chose him due to him being with me through some very tough times in my life, so yes, he's genuinely a comfort character for me.
Yes, he's still important to me and always will be, like I could be on deaths door and I still wouldn't sell him to pay for anything.
Cause I'm taking him to the grave with me lmao.
I have mostly improved his design over the years but he's generally still the same character as he was when I created him.
i havent been on TH very long but im still surprised....i couldn't tell you why bc ive long forgotten at this point
tho i probably was uploading a bunch at the start bc i was excited (and also decided to join artfight the same year after i had gotten my key for TH)
I think it was probably Mew lol
She was the first character I've ever gotten from an adopt so that's probably why I uploaded her first xd
This mf– He's not my first OC, but he's def one of my most like.., consistently long-standing? He's just been my most iconic OC among friends n so I just knew it had to be him. I made him when I was younger as a compilation of my fav things and he's simutaneously undergone a lot but not a lotta changes. Rn I'm focused on a lotta other OCs, but he's still very very importabt to me and I consider him like my OC staple, alongside Dielzma
