My boy! I love him, all of my WoF ocs are over 6 years old but he’s one of the few I’ve stuck with!
There are threads like this one to show off our first characters ever created, but I'm curious about another question: who's the first character you uploaded to Toyhouse (or earliest that you still have, if you no longer have the first)?
Are they the same as your first character ever, or different? If you had multiple characters at the time you signed up, what made that one the character you uploaded first? Are they a favorite or special or important to you, or was it a random choice? Are they still important to you now?
If you're not sure who you uploaded first, you can sort your characters by oldest to find out!
My answer:
In my case, the first character I uploaded was Jill, and then I uploaded the rest of her band, all of her rivals' band, then other important characters from my comic. Jill isn't one of my older characters, she isn't my favorite, and I would probably say Amber (my second character uploaded) is the main character of my comic, but Jill, her best friend and bandmate, would be a very close second. Still, Jill has been a central character in my stuff for 18 years, even an avatar/alter ego of sorts once upon a time, and she's the leader of her band, so I'm not very surprised I uploaded her first.
I have some characters who have been uploaded onto TH longer than him, but the first character that I uploaded was Neto. That was a little over 5 years ago.
It really doesn't surprise me considering, although he doesn't get used as much now, he is one of my oldest characters and at the time I created my TH account he was either my favourite, or at least very close to being my favourite.
Surprisingly, Henrik was the first character that I uploaded on here. But the first character that I made and uploaded online was Zazzalil. BUT my first character is actually Brea which I'm trying to get rid of.
There is not much reason for Henrik to be my first character on here. He came from a batch of different characters from a story I'm working on. I think one reason that I chose him first is that at the time was the newest one I made and he didn't have many art pieces for him. So I tried to give him more exposure. But I still love Henrik, he's my tragic villain.
IT WAS LUMI!!! When I first got ToyHouse she was a priority in my brain, not sure why, but she’s a very beloved favorite with the friend that got me toyhouse so maybe that just made me think of her as the first one. I had over 350 characters (I have over 400 now, still only about 30% of them are uploaded here) before i started ToyHouse, and so it was just a fuck all and choose whichever to do first.
