There are threads like this one to show off our first characters ever created, but I'm curious about another question: who's the first character you uploaded to Toyhouse (or earliest that you still have, if you no longer have the first)?
Are they the same as your first character ever, or different? If you had multiple characters at the time you signed up, what made that one the character you uploaded first? Are they a favorite or special or important to you, or was it a random choice? Are they still important to you now?
If you're not sure who you uploaded first, you can sort your characters by oldest to find out!
My answer:
In my case, the first character I uploaded was Jill, and then I uploaded the rest of her band, all of her rivals' band, then other important characters from my comic. Jill isn't one of my older characters, she isn't my favorite, and I would probably say Amber (my second character uploaded) is the main character of my comic, but Jill, her best friend and bandmate, would be a very close second. Still, Jill has been a central character in my stuff for 18 years, even an avatar/alter ego of sorts once upon a time, and she's the leader of her band, so I'm not very surprised I uploaded her first.
I just got here and I think I uploaded Ora fist! He’s my current obsession and I’ve spoiled him with art. He’s just a good boy that I’ve ruthlessly traumatized :)
As for first OC? Hmm probably made Sparrow in 2008, if not earlier. I’ve kind of dropped him- should pick him back up again and give him new life.
technically this version of him, i first uploaded this one 2 years ago or so when i first joined TH but i eventually had to move him over to fit the rest of his story as i figured out how to use TH better so the page no longer exists. This is, however, the reason why he has the oldest media i still currently have on here with a piece of literature being from 8 months ago (my earliest available oc that's still up currently has only had a page for 3 months since i returned to the website)
not my first ever oc by any means, but def an old one! hes one of the only ocs from my childhood that i still use that hasnt been redesigned... he's gotten a few little tweaks but he's stayed mostly true to his first design! props to ~11 year old me lol!
