character design choices you Regret

I literally regret almost every single aspect of Xaanik's design OTL

• The palette sucks bigtime. I got too caught up in the symbolism of it that I didn't stop to consider whether or not it actually looked good
  • Grey skin!? Black blood!? What the hell was I thinking it's literally impossible to make him look very appealing lmao
• His weird figure makes most clothes horribly unflattering
  • I'm sick of him & his gross unreasonable perfect anime body lmfao 
• His wings make for a cluttered silhouette and also makes him a nightmare to pose especially with other people. Also having to think about how he dresses himself is hell
  • Wings are cool but they make so little sense to have really irl
• Similarly, those shoulder feathers mean he can't wear things unless his shoulders are bare
• Generally flagrant kink bait I mean look at that outfit 
• The triangle nose I keep drawing him with makes it very hard to visualise him realistically
• Markings are garbage 
• Generally garbage
• Every word out of his mouth makes me wanna throttle him he's the most hypocritical dumpster fire of a character... Which would be fine if he wasn't meant to be vaguely sympathetic 
• I'm sick of his bullshit
• I could revamp him but I'd need to change so much & I'd feel badddd

why do I keep putting multiple body parts on something and then complain it's hard to draw

Their horns! When I started drawing Spirus I wanted to draw something different also liking horns I included them, as I developed the story I had to figure something with those horns. They fit my story now as all or most OCs have them, but it was annoying and I can't imagine them without their horns.

Honestly? Dain is wayyyyyyy to attractive for what's essentially a human corpse with a bunch of alien goo & technology haphazardly crammed inside. Like, the fact he looks so Cool and Not Gross kind of breaks my own suspension of disbelief. And I find the anime-prettyboy/cyberpunk badass shtick to be... just kind of uninspired lmao

 Though I'm distinctly lacking in visually appealing characters so.... I guess he'll stay pretty, for the time being :')

I LIKE it, but I really hate drawing this guy's stupid head!! Circles and spheres are hard to do perfectly ;<;

Banshee, and by extension, Siren. Should be self-evident as to why -- but I do love how they look when I get through all that 

I don't necessarily regret Henri's design as much as I lament the fact I didn't expect people to react to him the way they do. I have gotten so many gross terms directed at him because he looks like a girl to other people apparently and I'm rolling my eyes so hard they're gonna fall out of my sockets soon!!!
