What are your trademark character archetypes?

This was a conversation my friends and I were having earlier about our characters: everyone has certain character archetypes they're a sucker for-- or maybe ones that they can't help but keep making. What's your poison?

You can interpret this generally: maybe archetypes like "jerks with a heart of gold", personality traits like "smug", storylines like "friends who fall in love", whatever types of characters you love to see or create!

My characters:
a) idiots but they try
b) feelings are hard let's never talk about them
c) conflict resolution is hard let's never talk about it

Youmaycallmeghost

Tall boyos
passionately emotional or just emotionally dull (Literally one way or the other!)
Not god-like; they do have weakness and not all of it is trauma.
if they do have trauma; it's discovered with time and conversation, not the immediate personality of a character.
Protective or defensive, to varying degrees.
Misjudged by appearance or body language (interpreted as scarier than they are or something they're not entirely)
Having moments of being just a pure gremlin, breaking calm demeanour over something completely dumb or silly or simply becoming excited to the point their previous scary demeanour just washes away.

Wingspan

- Pretty little musician boys. I wonder why that is hmm…

- Nervous timid guys who have no business being in charge of stuff.

- Villains corrupted by greed or some bad event that made them that way.

- Old men that are just trying to get by.

- Huge jerks who legitimately think they’re the coolest.

• Always exhausted

• Sassy, dramatic and sarcastic even in danger

• Acts like they have no home training

• Very good at what they do but get no recognition for it

• Into the occult somehow

• Is usually gay or somehow apart of the alphabet mafia

Parents who have done bad things in the past and are kinda jerks but love their kids unconditionally (Ethan, Dasha, Gore, Sterling)
People who are jerks to basically everyone but their love interests who they're the sweetest people in the world to (Omega, Sterling again)
uwu soft girls who are SO sweet and kind and probably have horribly sad backstories (Delta and Devon are the main ones, but Samsa, Sofya, Kismet, and If kind of apply as well)
People who seem creepy and scary but are totally nice (Clematis, Ides, Leroy, The Bear, and to a lesser extent Sofya and Samsa)
Chaotic neutrals (Bette, Xavier, Omega, Melchiorre)
Straight-up terrible people (Petunia, Gore, Bette)
Not quite an archetype but I'm finding that a lot of my characters basically have soulmates and would never dream of being with anyone but the soulmate (Clematis+Delta, Thermidor+Merle, Sterling+Dead Wife Sylvia, Omega+Devon)
Edgy backstories!!! I have a grand total of two characters without 'em and I'm working on that >:)
