I mean I've been told I'm good at writing the subtleties on mental illness but like. That's not really an archetype?

i definitely follow the trope of over-worked office worker because its how i cope with my own life lmao

A few of my OC archetypes and cliches:

• Shy, but friendly OCs
  
• OCs that seemingly have tough exteriors, but on the inside, just wants companionship
  
• Super speedsters
  
• Mecha animals that can be piloted or ridden on
  
• OCs that were abandoned at first, but would eventually find new friends or family
  
• Space explorers and adventure seekers
  
• Scientists
  

Dangerous, intimidating, murderers who are full of angst and hate, but are good people (or just have some redeeming qualities) beneath all the grime and muck <3

• Scientists...
  
• Duos that involve one cool, calculating type and one crazy, chaotic type
  
• Characters who struggle to read social cues
  
• Complicated, messy family dynamics
  
• Characters who are nice but not good

Basically all my characters are suffering help them 

narrative foils and opposite pairs. i cannot stop making them. it just keeps happening.

ive noticed ive made a lot of autistic ocs or at least some that were unintentionally autistic coded, mainly with the more stoic and monotone kind cus thats sort of just me?

lots of muscular women too

- idiots who have major self-doubt and bottle up their emotions 24/7, they're trying their best (most likely also cassgender or under the cassgender umbrella because i like projecting onto my ocs)

- chaotic evil / chaotic neutral crazy fuckers who will most likely kill you

- insane and / or evil gods / angels

- constantly deals with the weirdest shit but is used to it at this point, nothing fazes them

- will cry if they accidentally step on a bug

- smug little bastard

- white-haired and / or long-haired pretty boy

(i haven't. uploaded 90% of my ocs yet but yeah a lot of them are at least one of the above)

I've always been drawn to twist villains, or really just betrayals between characters who were friends. So uh yeah that happens in 2 out of the 3 stories I have

• sweet but shy asexual disaster lesbians
• sapphics in general. everyone likes ladies here
• actually. WOMEN in general. i have maybe 3 male ocs
• powerful gf x "i appreciate my cool wife!!"
• bright colors (not to the point of eyestrain, but. muted is the furthest thing from what most of my ocs are JDKSDS)
• non-human but still humanoid
• they look so chill but They Have Issues
• green and brown in designs
• always makes an effort to be nice / is not actively trying to be an asshole
• secret (or public) love for cute things
• 100% not dog people

I have SO many "would kill you for 2 dollars" type of characters. I also have "sunshine/harmless" characters and "looks like they could kill you but won't".

I have maybe 2 or 3 "humans", the rest are some type of creature/hybrid/other species.

I also really like characters who compliment each other. I have a few sibling/friendship pairs who are opposites but balance each other out.
