ANNOUNCEMENT: THREAD CLOSING
People probably saw this coming from the increase in skipped/late weeks already, and while I really wanted to keep the thread running, I have come to realize it's just not something I have the time and energy to do. I have gotten increasingly more busy with IRL obligations and in turn used TH less and less, and after a little over 5 years it starts to get a bit more difficult to think of themes that haven't been used yet.
Nevertheless, it's been fun, and I have greatly enjoyed seeing all the characters people have posted here over the years! I didn't expect I'd keep up with this thread every week for this many years, with only a total of 3 skips (two of which are from the past few months). I would like to thank everyone who has posted their characters here and kept the thread alive!
Though I will no longer be updating this thread with new prompts, I'll keep it up & unlocked for people to post their characters if they still want to continue doing it - after all, this thread has always allowed people to post characters based on past prompts as well. I'm also cool with people remaking this thread on their own - just shoot me a message, and I'll link the new thread here. I still check TH daily even if I no longer have much of a presence around the forums.

Lilin is a deity with two forms! In visions, she appears as a child with silver wings for arms (as shown in her icon), but when encountered in the physical world she takes the form of a massive flying fish a kilometre long.
I also have Zadkiel, an angel with monstrous and humanoid forms, and Morrígan, a shapeshifting deity with many different forms including various human personas and a flock of crows.
alot of my ocs have multiple forms, but nezumi can shift from human to giant lizard!! her son likes it more when shes a giant lizard because shes better at cuddling and has more arms to hug with.
Gelee here is a weird...mix of things.
She's half slime to start out with, and also a cyborg.
The slimes in the world she's from are invader aliens, and invade planet to spread their numbers, by eating anything they can find, splitting into smaller slimes and then eventually covering the planet and consuming it.
Being half slime means having another half that...sort of has an identity of its own, but at the same time, having it as part of your biology, and using your identity.
This means that Gelee also has a slime form. It's a destructive gremlin, and much different from Gelee as she happens to be a low energy, timid recluse that likes to make robots all day.
I have other OCs with multiple forms, a lot actually, but I think that Gelee really takes the cake bc her shapeshifting just sort of feels like a key trait of hers
Will can change their element, their appearance changes when they do this. (I don't have any art of this yet)
Ozah has a humanoid form, and a fox form! The fox form is their 'true form', as they are a kitsune. Buuuut they love their humanoid form, because they can wear dresses.
He's not very well-practiced at it yet, and it takes a lot of energy, but Jerrik can turn into an ice dragon, since he has more direct dragon blood from his father's side. Since he's relatively young compared to a normal dragon lifespan, his dragon form is more medium sized and developed like a somewhat older adolescent dragon/almost adult despite the fact that he's already an adult in his human form. (Most humanoid people in his setting are dragon-y people from distant ancestors, but most don't have the ability to actually take on a dragon form nor are considered real dragons by the feral dragons of the world. Jerrik just happens to be "half-dragon" because his father is an actual dragon, so he has the ability to shapeshift into a dragon form.)
Everyone in the Vivilion folder has a default form (the Earthen forms) and an alternate dimensional form (the Vivilion Forms! I have the secondary forms first in their profiles instead of in a tab because I like those more I guess plus I already had Lucas set up that way so I didn't want to change it XD):
- Maximilian goes from a human boy to a human/axolotl hybrid swordsman who can also manipulate water and stuff
- Lucas goes from a human boy to a human/rabbit hybrid mage
- Benjamin goes from a human boy to a small bat who can talk and breathe fire (I also plan on giving him a beastly form with the Vivilion form but I haven't drawn/added it in yet ;) )
- Encina goes from a human girl to an adlet in armor who can summon a few weapons
(Fun fact, I was gonna add a fifth member to the main crew, but after a while of thinking on it I didn't feel as though it was necessary to add another character when four felt like enough XD)
I've got some other OCs who have more than one physical form too!:
Boris is a werewolf, so he has a wolf form alongside his humanoid form.
Crow has another form he can take called Malfir, which is actually a separate demonic being who is bound to his soul. He can't take it willingly, though he's getting better at controlling transformations.
Fang can take the form of a black domestic cat at will.
Hokori has two wolf forms; one is a bipedal wolf and the other is a full quadrupedal wolf. I haven't drawn either of them yet, so they don't have tabs, but they might eventually XD
Luke has a surprise dragon form due to him being half-dragon! He's not as strong as full-on dragons, but he's still stronger than those who aren't full or even half-dragon.
Moon is a Weremoth (more like a Weremothman), so he has a bipedal Mothman-esque form. He usually transforms whenever there's a certain amount of danger in a nearby area, and he doesn't have complete control over it.
Raven has two other forms besides her default puppy form; she has an adult form that is basically stronger in every way, and the Forbidden Form, which is a more monstrous version of her adult form, and again, is more powerful in every way. It also happens to be very rare among her kind and dangerous.
Roxanne has a full dragon form alongside her humanoid form, which is the main form she takes.
Thalia is a Wereraptor, so she has a velociraptor form alongside her humanoid form, which she can transform into at will. Her beast form resembles the Jurassic Park/World raptors rather than what they actually look like, by the way!
Tristan has this ultimate fusion deity form that is only achieved when he fuses with the spirits that are connected to him. This deity was actually his original form, but it obviously isn't his main form anymore. There's a reason that the spirits previously making up the original form were scattered when he first crashed on Earth. It's pretty powerful, to say the least.
Uphira has an alternate skeletal Wraith form that has only ever come out once. It's not a pleasant sight to see, and if one were to be the alternate forms target, they should run as fast and far away as they can...
William can transform into a weapon; more specifically, a scythe, to be wielded by his meister August! He's a fandom character from Soul Eater; his status as a Demon Weapon is what allows him to have a weapon form. I'm obsessed with this series help
Yahto can transform into a humanoid form and a draconic form. I don't have either of those drawn up yet, but I might have those eventually XD
Demon!Mikhail has both a demonic form and a human form. His creator, Azazel, also has two forms, but his demonic form has not design right now.
