any type of mental/emotional disorder counts! no matter if it's diagnosed or not, you know your characters the best.

i have this boy who suffers of did, ptsd and other undiagnosed disorders :^(

PTSD and Psychosis

Captain Rei Sarlo CaptainSarlo

Captain here's gotta lot of stuff going on for them. They're autistic (because I am, and honestly they've been helping me process that) but besides that...

They've got major depression, PTSD from a few separate traumatic situations, survivors guilt, and depersonalization-derealization disorder.

corncob

frankly most of mine are probably diagnosably mentally ill in some way bc of my own sort of life experience lmao... but i'll just talk about a couple that stick out moreso than others!

given, also, that within the culture most of them come from, they wouldn't know about or understand he diagnoses we have here in the same way that we do. so this is just based on what we'd most easily recognize in them.

thatcher is for certain one of the easier ones -- severe PTSD and a lot of the things that tend to go hand-n-hand with it. he deals with a lot of paranoia and survivor's guilt, and has some major troubles with dissociation and depersonalization.

lhovi would, based on my knowledge, probably be diagnosed with something like bpd, or maybe pdnos.

and esiver deals with some severe depression and all the nasty stuff that can result from that.

 ðŸ¥€Masami🥀 Stjerneskud

Masami definitely has depression from quite early on, as well as (social) anxiety issues due to her troubles as a child.

 Nori Ichiro CandyLashes

Nori here has PTSD, Depression, and agoraphobia. He's slowly working through these obstacles in his life ~

Lucien Defiancia, Cult Heir Shinnygisa

I have this DND character I made who is- for a lack of better words -torn between religions.

He was raised by a cult that worships a dead god, yet when a foreign God starts talking to him through dreams and visions, his mental strength gives way, causing him to turn from reflective and serious to carefree, chaotic, and extremely extroverted.

Im honestly proud of this oc because in one day, I wrote his entire 3k word biography!

 Saint Storm_Clouds

Saint here has catatonic schizophrenia and APD, though both have gone undiagnosed and untreated in him ever since they surfaced. The illnesses primarily stem from the abuse that he suffered as a young boy, though its sadly been reinforced by his own religious beliefs that his illnesses are not a problem when they actually need to be treated :<

 Nadia Bloodlust Sunset-Peril

Nadia here has severe PTSD after fighting in a psychological and physical world war, as well as depression spinning from the event and from her being neglected and mistreated her entire life.

Her boyfriend also has severe PTSD from an ugly battle where thousands of soldier in the war that both he and Nadia fought in, his is worse than her's because he found her with her throat ripped and blood gushing from her, he also has moderate depression from having his entire family killed in an attack during the said war and because of finding his gf dying in a bloody death.

Both have gained PTSD from seperate events, but it all built up and then when a horribly tragic operation failed and the vast majority of the army was slaughtered, the disease partially consumed him and left her helpless.

All the other soldiers from this army have some range of PTSD, and quite a few from this couple's battilion have some degree of depression as well.

01. Jax Sadismancer

Jax has several disorders which I wrote about [here] in more detail but he has:

- Schizoid personality disorder.
- Dissociative disorder NOS.
- Obsessive compulsive disorder.
- Schizophrenia.
- Insomnia.

As I'm no psychiatrist or the likes I just had to google his symptoms and try figure out what he has. It may be slightly inaccurate (idk which type of Schizophrenia he has for instance) but I think I almost nailed it.
