For Leon, who I've had for basically over 20 years, I believe my thought process was a sorta self insert, BUT AS A DRAGON BOY! Originally took elements from Jake from american dragon and the Inuyasha....and somehow naruto....don't ask I was 8 years old i think.
He became his own thing, and now I'm very happy with him, I love him dearly and am happy with his design and am working on his story now.

i created an oc i could make easily in ponytown... and then never made her in ponytown....... all of the characters in her story had original designs that could be easily translated into ponytown until i.. stopped playing it? idk i dont remember why i redesigned them lolÂ
I wanted to make an Exalted character with a cool mask. Like, literally, his name and the fact that he has a mask are the only things that remained the same across his various iterations; he even started out as a Dragon-blooded concept, not a Lunar one.
Basically Meredith always existed in my head! I knew I wanted someone like him in my catalog but until very recently he didn’t have a design, name or backstory- I knew I wanted him to be my other character, Adam’s best friend from the start!
I wanted a unique looking alien guy to be a part of my story lol. That was my main reason for creating him.
Mr. 793's creation wasn't really by myself but rather by a friend. They introduced him as the new host of the rebooted version of a failed RP show of a rp group i was apart of. Since I was basically the artist of the group, I asked to create a design and I managed to create 793! Then everything just got bad when I got overly attached and now he's my main oc.... haha
It was a character for a RP I was being the "master", but it kinda grew for itself. I wanted a silly witch who could be different of the super powerful "badass" wizards usually made for these so I tried to do a more fun design and the rest the character built themselves xD
Get ready to meet the weirdest oc creation story ever. It was September of 2019 and I was in a music class and for no reason at all, "You spin me right round" was playing in my mind and I dreamt up this dog character who was shortly after named Kain. He used to just be a plain white dog with way too much joker lipstick, so he changed alot. He used to be this whacky character like the Joker but developed more personality. Â I never knew back then I would get attached to him but I did. A few things never changed though 1.his shortness 2.him wearing black 3. his black or brown eyes.
Most of my characters were created for RPs. This one in particular started in an asylum setting and sortof just evolved into what he is now. The one thing that has stayed the same through his iterations though has been his attraction to death.
When i was in middleschool, i was trying to get over my anger issues and i missed my brother who had moved out a few years earlier, so i made a gal with anger issues who kinda looked like my brother lol
