TH birthday thread: YOUR Character edition🎂🎉

As we planned, we wanted to make a character/OC equivalent version of the Toyhou.se birthday thread!

It works almost the same here BUT you celebrate your OC's birthday instead. Now you can celebrate their birthday with the community here(!!!), and maybe along with other characters or users that shares the same birthday as them? :)

This thread should work basically the same as the TH users version but we can suggest slightly different thing you can do here:

Promoting your character's birthday? Yes, yes and yes! Who else will do it other than you, it's beloved creator?
You can either do these things (related to the above point) too!
- Sharing what will you do (or have did) on your character's birthday! Is it an art, drabble, poem or just anything? Even gushing about them is welcomed! (Do not turn it into any form of venting, please.)
- Alternatively, feel free to do a little intro about them in the thread! Let's get everyone to know about them on their special day :)
- You can also roleplay as them here! What are their thoughts about celebrating their own birthday? (Or you want them to wish a happy birthday to another character in the thread?)
- You're free to add a birthday gift wishlist for the character, but keep in mind that you might want to make it as open/optional as possible and not something demanding. (We recommend the art freebies for more specific wishlists.)
Like the original thread, you're free to congratulate or send a gift for any characters that belongs to other users! (Both IC and OOC) Make sure to ping the user as long as they're okay with it.
Just share anything as long as it's related to birthdays and you character!! Throw a party for them here as much as you want!

NOTE: One thing that we exclude from the original thread in this version is the birthday masterlist. We thought that it'll be a huge work to update it constantly, especially that we're still working on the masterlist from the other thread. However, you're free to share your own birthday masterlist for your characters here!! Make sure to put it in a spoiler box if it's gonna be a long list :)

That should be all the basic things we want to mention, but feel free to leave any suggestions on improving the thread. (Happy celebrating!)

Only my older characters have birthdays, out of sheer laziness, but Agnes's is September 2 and Kaleb's is December 12. Maddie's is April 2, and Treman (my only anthro character) is an August 30th dude.

Come to think of it, I should assign birthdays to more characters.

Any of your characters that shares the same birthday as yours? No. Well, yes, but they're a very old character. Sindy was born on may 14th, too.
How do you decide your characters' birthdays?* Is it a requirement for your characters to have a birthdate, or not? Most of my characters have zodiac based birthdays, usually just their sun sign - eg Jess is deliberately a Sagittarius, so that's November 22 – December 21. 16 just seemed like a good date, and it was close to a family member's birthday, so, that's that. Revenant's was chosen on her sign too (Aries, march 20th or so to april 20) but I analysed her moonsign as well - that made her a... pisces moon and cancer rising, i think? She was born on April 6th at around 2am. All of my characters eventually require a birth date; its one of the main 'things' I'll assign a character if I think they'll become one of my mains.
How often do you celebrate your characters' birthdays and do you usually prepare anything for them? Rarely. Sometimes if I have spoons I'll draw them. Sometimes I just focus on them in general and give them less angst.
And are you good at remembering their birthdays? Off of the top of my head, yeah? But sometimes I have other stuff to do so I just.... don't.

I have three methods: Name days; "holidays" that relate to the character or I choose them by whichever zodiac fits the character best.

Haha, barely ever. Only a few certain ones. And usually I do nothing. I might draw doodles sometimes. Or work on their profiles. As a present.

And are you good at remembering their birthdays?

Eeeeehh... That's why I have a calendar.

I usually don't remember/celebrate my ocs birthdays, but yesterday April 20th was Molybdenum's birthday. I remember it because is one of the very first birthdays i decided ~~(And because how iconic it is)~~

Another character that i remember very well (And is next week btw) is Cooper's, the April 28th. Probably the first birthday I decided, and i remember searching for a friday in april's taurus part in 2028 (yeah, i can explain why, but thats another story).

Oh, also a very near birthday is Tantalum's (he needs a new icon). Its the April 24th, and if it wasn't because yesterday i was looking my ocs birthdays, i wouldn't have remember (maybe because is actually pretty random)

Any of your characters that shares the same birthday as yours? No, I think it'd end up confusing. The closest one to mine is the day before.
How do you decide your characters' birthdays?* Is it a requirement for your characters to have a birthdate, or not? I always have it as a requirement for my main oc's on this account. For my alt account I let it slide. I decide them multiple ways. Some by what zodiac I can see them as, some were so I don't have a lot of birthdays in the same month, some I just picked randomly.
How often do you celebrate your characters' birthdays and do you usually prepare anything for them? Not really often. Last year for my humans I did a bust for each of them
And are you good at remembering their birthdays? Only really a handful tbh. I can usually only remember the month without looking.
