Idle animations are movements/actions that video game characters have when they aren't being used. If your OCs were in a video game, what would their animations be?
Celine would make sure all his jewelry was straight. Or, if idle a long time, would rarely take out a starfish and have a snack.
One of the things I love about Aren is that her moods vary from complete stillness to an inability to remain still. Most common animation would be the flick of her tail as she waits for something. Casual shadows seeping away from her that stop and vanish completely when you engage with her would be A+.
I think Cloud would just look kinda bored and slouch while bouncing her leg. I feel like she would also occasionally rock back and forth on her heels with her arms behind her back. Maybe if you wait long enough, you'll see her sit down and start to play with her cloud magic, just making and destroying small clouds.

Sal wobbles a lot on his feet... Will impatiently stare at his watch or play around with the removable tips of his golden glove thingymcthing. He will cough and if you wait long enough pull a '>:^('/directly at the camera while tapping his watch
Marie would pick her nails and occasionally set her clothes straight whilst looking bored.
Tara would try to stands still, but as time went on she'd get fidgety and eventually end up fluffing up her skirts and hair.

Sebastian would probably whistle a short tune, pull out a handheld console and play for a bit. And if he's been idling for too long he'd probably take a nap while levitating XD
Unlike Dexter (who folds his arms and taps a foot impatiently) or Theo (who clasps her hands together and smiles) North's standing animation is perfectly still, but for the ends of their scarf slowly fluttering in the breeze. Every so often they'll either let their hand drift up to the crook of their scarf before putting it down again, or they'll curl their longer bang around their finger once and then drop their hand to their side.
When attacking, North tosses their head back, briefly revealing their other eye (which flashes white), and stretches their arm out, palm up, as though beckoning, before returning to their default pose. When defending, they curl their shoulders inwards so that the scarf bunches up around their neck, pulling it up to cover their face with one hand while holding their other arm out in front of them to protect their face from the blow.
