I was reading last night/earlier today about American/British accents and thought about how interesting they were, so show me characters that have some sort of distinct accent or dialect! Doesn't matter from where.
This thread isn't to make fun of anyone or perpetuate stereotypes, btw, but just to discuss. :>
Eldaera is a grumpy old lady in the body of a 30 year old and she has a Russian accent with broken English- says things like "eat your food. Is good for you." Because she is a mom and will say stuff like that to an adult out of habit
Given the fact that Kotone has only lived in Japan and Russia, I can reasonably assume her accent when speaking English would be a mix of an Asian and Russian accent

Translation magic exists in his setting, but Rin chose to actually learn Japanese and English properly, so has an impossible to place accent (since Demonic is his native language).
Most of my OCs have very bogstandard English accents, (sometimes you'll get lucky and find the odd American or European or Scottish, Irish, Welsh, Northern-English accent,) but Micah here has a very thick Cornish accent!
I've always thought Cornish accents sounded super friendly and a bit playful, so I was wanting to put one on a character, and I finally did it two years ago. =)
Gemstone has a heavy Cossack-Ukrainian-Vietnamese Accent due to being raised by a Cossack A Ukrainian and illegally by a Vietnamese

and eryk! not sure what languge he speaks in his setting, but assuming its polish (since the setting is strongly inspried by 19th century polish books) his accent would have bits of russian and german, but mostly french, as hes trying to escape his heritage and at the time in history, france was the go-to place to imigrate to from poland
He has a thick Russian accent. He is sometimes shy when speaking other languages, but he tries his best! ^^
