Flipper: An alternate to mixes where sometimes specific parent combos can have unique offspring

🌿 Rules & Overview 🌿

🌱 Flips are posted in order of creation
🌱 Flippers work exactly the same as mixes in terms of group functionality
🌱 They have a 1 in 15 chance to spawn in breedings with relevant parents
🌱 Regular MYO rules apply with the exception of the following:
🌱 These types of keke must be obtained through breeding, events, etc... They are not open to make unless you've earned one!

Gooheart-Flip.png1: Gooheart Flipper: regular + Goober

🌿 Hatchling:
Creation > Follow the regular guide
Anatomy differences > The ears are dog-like and half-flopped with what appears to be at least one drip coming off each (though this drip will never leave the ear). There's a small head tuft and the first belly scale is a heart-shape that drips because it's made of slime!
Color differences > The accent color appears to be made of goo. This goo should follow the Goober base color rules, but may feature a gradient of a second Goober-applicable color. It may also show sunbeams or reflections of ripples within. If desired, the inner ears may be the belly color when visible
Baby stuff > Baby fin, optional belly color tingeing
Description form > Include both a "blood type" and a "temperature" field. Temperature will dictate how hot or cold the goop is specifically!

🌿 Young:
Design > Follow the regular design rules
Matures out of > Belly color tingeing. Shedding the baby fin is optional!
Description form > No change

🌿 Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Bedhead, blotches, chubby, color points, drowsiness, fin shreds, growth spurt, missing teeth, puffball spikes, short stature, sail shreds, and waterfall mane

🌿 Adult:
Default morphs > Joey, fae, reach, goblin

2: Stutterfly Flipper: Shiny + PterrurStutterfly-Flip.png

🌿 Hatchling:
Creation > Follow the Rur guide
Anatomy differences > The cheek pouch is a bell. The neck is slightly longer and lacks a full mane, but has some decorative tufts here and there (placement may vary from image). The head crest will be gilded with either gold or silver. This metal will match the metal that also decorates the wings and tail rudder (which these Flippers have in place of the traditional baby fin). Gilding can vary widely in appearance from the butterfly-like look shown here to flames, if you wanted.
Color differences > All gilding may be gold or silver, but should all be the same metal type. The cheek bell also needs to be gold or silver, but does not have to match the gilding. The keke themselves may be any color instead of just brown. The membranes will match the crest color, which may be up to two colors gradiented together (or blobbed, if you can't do gradients). Membranes/crests may also feature small dots or stripes across them for extra flair
Baby stuff > Optional belly color tingeing
Description form > No change. This type is cold-blooded by default

🌿 Young:
Design > Follow the Shiny rules
Matures out of > Belly color tingeing. Note that the tail rudder remains!
Description form > No change

🌿 Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Bell cluster, blotches, chubby, growth spurt, missing teeth, short stature, boomnana crest, color points, drowsiness, dual crest, fork crest, mountain crest, plow crest, tower crest

🌿 Adult:
Default morphs > Saur, saurus, and saurling

Spellbell-Flip.png3: Spellbell Flipper: Shiny + Astral

🌿 Hatchling:
Creation > Follow the Shiny guide
Anatomy differences > Remove the head disk(s). The cheek pouch has a protrusion coming from like that looks like a small cluster of feathers. The ears are very long and flowy. The bell has a star-shaped hole in it in place of a round one and has wispy space stuff coming off of it. This space stuff also forms a head tuft and a mane that runs down about to the hip area. The back-wisp has cute, tiny wings coming out of it! Embedded in the head and neck space are small metal teardrops. The belly scales do not have visible seams and instead appear smooth
Color differences > All space can be one solid color or a gradient of two colors (do blobs if you can't do gradients). Use 1 color to add stars all over the space (3 stars minimum). Stars can be small dots, diamond shapes, five-pointed... generally anything that still looks like a star. They may glow if desired. The accent color (cheek pouch and paw pads) can be any one solid color. The metal color goes on the teardrops. The belly scales and mouth/tongue will be a fully desaturated white, black, or grey
Baby stuff > None
Description form > Include a "blood type" and a "temperature" field. Temperature refers specifically to how hot or cold the space bits are!

🌿 Young:
Design > Follow the Shiny rules
Matures out of > N/A
Description form > Include a "color method used" field

🌿 Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Bell cluster, blotches, chubby, glimmering accents, growth spurt, missing teeth, short stature, astral facets, glittermaw, solar flare, solar wind, space scraps

🌿 Adult:
Default morphs > Joey, fae, reach, goblin, reduced, sail, star nursery

Manta-Flip.png4: Manta Flipper: Plumie + Elver
Based on a suggestion from jWobbleGong!

🌿 Hatchling:
Creation > Follow the Elver guide
Anatomy differences > Remove all fluff. Replace the ears and the arms with a set of manta-ray-like "wings". Also add a second set of wings behind the first. Remove the eyes from the tail and place them on the chest instead. Remove the tail fin and make the tail extra long and thin
Color differences > The undersides of the wings may be a lighter color than the base. This may be any color, but all wings should match (if you chose to color them all - not all wing undersides have to be colored. You can pick and chose!)
Baby stuff > None
Description form > No change

🌿 Young:
Design > Use color method A from the Elver rules
Matures out of > N/A
Description form > Include a "favorite land thing" field. The "art type" field is optional

🌿 Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Bedhead, blotches, chubby, fading skin, grasper fins, growth spurt, short stature, dorsal feathers, feather crest, keratin formations, talons

🌿 Adult:
Default morphs > Purfle, grouper, roostling, cygnest, broodlett

🍒 Like Elvers, this flip is aquatic! They're capable of breathing air and being on land, but water is much more comfortable

Icealoosa-Flip.png5: Icealoosa Flipper: Fawnette + Charmed
Based on a suggestion by SourHour!

🌿 Hatchling:
Creation > Follow the Fawn guide
Anatomy differences > The ears are rounded at the tips and very, very long. So long they twist on themselves! The cheek pouches are in their normal position, overriding any cheek fluff. The pouches have two diagonal lines through them. There's two simple horns on this flip's head made of Charm plate material. The belly scales are downwards 'V' shapes. On the lower end of the naga tail, there's a large patch of plate material with spikes sticking out of it. Some spikes may be "floating", being off in their own little dots of plate. All spikes can be retracted at will, leaving the plate smooth
Color differences > The accent color will affect the horns, cheek pouches, and tail plate(s). It may be any color, but note that it'll be a little shiny!
Baby stuff > Take the color you'd use for a baby spot and rim the skin around the tail plate(s) with it. This "babyloosa" can have small dots coming off of it as well as smallish holes inside of it, forming an appaloosa-like marking. If desired, the babyloosa color can also color the insides of the ears
Description form > Include a "shift" and a "blood type" field. This flipper is warm-blooded by default. Icealoosas seem unable to shift more than one body part at a time. Their arm can be a table leg or their head a Vendosaur's - it comes in bits and pieces

🌿 Young:
Design > Follow the Charm rules or the Fawn rules
Matures into > The head tuft and mane grow at the regular rate for Fawns
Matures out of > Nothing! But the babyloosa may gain additional white spots and/or spread slowly in size
Description form > Can still participate in the Rite of Passage and earn a band. "Art type" field is optional. If using the Charm design rules, include a "color method used" field

🌿 Youth:
This mix skips the youth stage!

🌿 Adult:
Default morphs > Common, regal, joey, fae, reach, and goblin
Matures into > In place of a tail blade, adult flips are instead able to sharpen some of their spikes to upwards of a foot long at will!
Misc > Can still participate in Feats and earn a hair style

🍒 The Icealoosa is in no way made of ice. Rather, it's named after the first pair of individuals - a set of twins - who both had light blue plate material, making it appear ice-like

6: Fuzzga Flipper: Subterfewege + CeceFuzzga-Flip.png

🌿 Hatchling:
Creation > Follow the Ewe guide
Anatomy differences > If this flip had eyes, their smallish cheek pouches would be in the corners of them. Much of the skin is visible from birth with only a tuft of hair obscuring the upper half of the face and wool coating the whole of the naga tail. The ears are fluffy and large, but not woolen. There's a mouth both on the face and on the torso (the one on the head has no throat). There's a line of drizzle running down the neck, back, cresting the shoulders, and a dollop on the back of each paw
Color differences > The drizzle will follow the Cece rules (located in the hatcling instructions). Skin can be any one solid color. Cheek pouches must be a fully desaturated white, grey, or black.
Baby stuff > None
Description form > Include a "blood type" field. This flip may be warm or cold-blooded

🌿 Young:
Design > Follow the Cece design rules
Matures into > Drizzle will gradually get runnier at the same rate of Ceces
Description form > Include a "flavor type" field (can be sweet or spicy). You can optionally include an "art type" field as well

🌿 Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Arm puffs, bone disks, bedhead, chubby, color points, drip wool, growth spurt, short stature, arrowhead pouch, candy fangs, sprinkles

🌿 Adult:
Default morphs > Joey, fae, reach, goblin, layered, overflow
