Mix: The offspring of two different keke types that combines their traits into something new

🌿 Rules & Overview 🌿

🌱 Mixes are posted in order of creation (er...99% in order)
🌱 Be sure to read each guide very carefully! There are lots of little things to watch for (if you notice something missing, feel free to poke me)
🌱 In general, mixes can earn things that their parent types can (the "type + type" listing below their mix). Say we're working with a Molten Mix. They're a Goober/Shiny hybrid, so they have access to both Goober-restricted and Shiny-restricted upgrades. They could also apply the gilded special morph (some morph restrictions may apply - details will be in the mix's or the morph's description)
🌱 The above rule does not stack. For example: you breed a Soggy Mix and a Pegasi Mix. The child is a Soggy Mix. They would have access to Goober-restricted things, but not Plumie or Fawnette
🌱 Regular MYO rules apply with the exception of the following:
🌱 These types of keke must be obtained through breeding, events, etc... They are not open to make unless you've earned one!

Soggy-mix.png

1: Soggy Mix: Goober + regular

🌿 Hatchling:
Creation > Follow the Regular Snakekey guide
Anatomy differences > The keke should be drippy. They're made of opaque goo and should show no signs of transparency
Color differences > N/A
Baby stuff > Hatchlings have both a baby sail and a baby fin. These can be the belly color or the accent color. Both do not have the be the same color. Optional belly color tingeing
Description form > Instead of saying "blood type", the description form should say "temperature". The options are still 'warm' or 'cold'

🌿 Young:
Design > Follow the Regular Snakekey design rules for young
Matures out of > Will lose the baby fin, baby sail, and belly color tingeing
Description form > No change

🌿 Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Bedhead, blotches, chubby, color points, drowsiness, fin shreds, growth spurt, missing teeth, puffball spikes, short stature, sail shreds, sharp things, slippery scales, and waterfall mane

🌿 Adult:
Default morphs > Joey, fae, reach, goblin, multitasker, and spook

🍒 Soggy Mixes are kind of like...Goobers that don't know what they're doing. They don't have as much control over what they're made up. They rarely drip so that they don't have to struggle to pull themselves together
🍒 Like Goobers, Soggy Mixes can melt down into a puddle. This just...isn't advised. They can get kinda stuck down there and it might be a while before they're keke-shaped again

HannahBug

Molten-mix.png

2: Molten Mix: Goober + Shiny

🌿 Hatchling:
Creation > Follow the Shiny Snakekey guide
Anatomy differences > All gold/silver parts (belly scales, bells, etc...) will be gooey like a Goober
Color differences > N/A
Baby stuff > Hatchlings can have tingeing of any color (all points must be the same color). As usual, this can go on the arms, face, and/or tail tip - a max. of halfway up each
Description form > The form in the description should say "blood type" not "temperature". Same as a Shiny, the belly color has no effect on this, so they can be either warm or cold despite being gold or silver

🌿 Young:
Design > Follow the Shiny Snakekey design rules
Matures out of > Tingeing
Description form > Young will likely have both an "art type" and a "hoard" field in their description form. You must have at least one if you'd rather not have both

🌿 Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Bedhead, blotches, chubby, color points, drowsiness, growth spurt, missing teeth, puffball spikes, short stature, bell cluster, glamorous hair, glimmering accents, mismatched metal, and shimmer horns

🌿 Adult:
Default morphs > Joey, fae, reach, goblin, silverback, and hoardmaster

🍒 A Molten Mix's bell doesn't sound quite right... Probably because the clapper is just as goopy as the outer shell
🍒 Since the inside of their mouths are metal and their metal is goop, Molten Mixes have a tendency to "drool". This can be maintained, but hatchlings aren't usually very good at it

HannahBug

Wet-Paint-Mix.png 3: Wet Paint Mix: Goober + Plumie

🌿 Hatchling:
Creation > Follow the Plumie Snakekey guide
Anatomy differences > The keke will have a tuft of feathers on their head, folded feathery ears (about shoulder length), and gooey flightless wings
Color differences > The goo will match the accent color
Baby stuff > Baby sail. Can be the accent color or the belly color
Description form > The form in the description should say "blood type" not "temperature"

🌿 Young:
Design > Follow the Plumie Snakekey design rules
Matures out of > Baby sail
Description form > No change

🌿 Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Chubby, drowsiness, growth spurt, sail shreds, sharp things, short stature, blotches, dorsal feathers, downy plumage, fan tail, feather crest, keratin formations, and talons

🌿 Adult:
Default morphs > Joey, fae, reach, goblin, roostling, cygnest, and broodlett

🍒 Wet Paint Mixes have heavier wings, usually making them struggle to learn to fly into the late young phase. It may even take some keke until the youth phase to figure it out!
🍒 While their goop will stick to itself for the most part, Wet Paint Mixes regenerate more slime than a Goober would. This allows them to splat into things when landing, making large wing marks, and not have to pause to regroup (or regoop). This earned them their name

HannahBug

Slasher-mix.png 4: Slasher Mix: Goober + Fawnette

🌿 Hatchling:
Creation > Follow the Fawnette Snakekey guide
Anatomy differences > The cheek pouches will be regularly sized, cheek fluff will be removed, and they will have a minimum of one half fold ear (both may be half fold if you like). In addition, the tail tip/lower half of the naga tail will be replaced with goo that forms into a sharp point. Replace the arms from the elbows down in the same way
Color differences > Goo will match the color rules in the Goober Snakekey guide (hatchling phase). However, the baby spot can be placed on the goo if desired
Baby stuff > Baby quills and baby spot
Description form > The form in the description should say "blood type" not "temperature". This mix has the option of being warm-blooded or cold-blooded

🌿 Young:
Design > Follow Fawnette Snakekey design rules. Fade cannot go on goo, but spots can
Matures out of > Baby quills
Description form > Can still participate in the Rite of Passage and earn a band. May have an "art type" field as well if desired

🌿 Youth:
This mix skips the youth stage!

🌿 Adult:
Default morphs > Joey, fae, reach, goblin, common, and regal
Misc > Can still participate in Feats and earn a hair style

🍒 Due to their tiny, sharp paws, these keke can walk with pinpoint precision, making them very good at climbing and parkour. They are not, however,  good at holding things prone to being stabbed...
🍒 A Slasher Mix's tail blade is somewhat looked down upon by grown Fawns since it's considered a sign of maturity obtained by adults. On the other hand, hatchling Fawns tend to think it's super cool

HannahBug

Pudding-Mix.png 5: Pudding Mix: Goober + Subterfewege

🌿 Hatchling:
Creation > Follow the Subterfewege guide
Anatomy differences > Instead of being covered in a ton of wool, the hatchling will be a little goo blob. Note that the ears will be lop ears (roughly shoulder length). The belly will have three mouths instead of one. They do not have eyes, paw pads, or belly scales. Cheek pouches are an uncolored outline like Ewe's have, but these are usually hidden in slime
Color differences > Follow the Goober guide for colors. Inside of mouths can be any solid color. All four do not have to match
Baby stuff > Baby face and baby sail. The baby face is not restricted by Goober color rules. Baby fin will be the same color as the baby face
Description form > Instead of saying "blood type", the description form should say "temperature". The options are still 'warm' or 'cold'

🌿 Young:
Design > Pudding Mixes can be designed with either the Goober Snakekey design rules for color method A or the default color method for Ewes seen in the Subterfewege design rules. Both coloring types will not add a design to the skin
Matures into > At this age, the skin on the muzzle and end section of the tail will be revealed. The color of this skin should match the available colors seen in the Goober guide. Will develop a tail tuft like an Ewe's except made of goo. Paws do not poke out of the goo - they stay in there
Matures out of > Baby sail and baby face
Description form > This mix does not have a "flavor type". Thus, the description form should have the "art type" field instead

Pudding-Mix-MYO-hatchling-guide-by-Sour-🌿 Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Chubby, color points, growth spurt, oil layer, sail shreds, sharp things, short stature, waterfall mane, back plates, bone disks, and half-face

🌿 Adult:
Default morphs > Joey, fae, reach, goblin, and multitasker

-Hatchling image guide courtesy of SorrelDemon!

___________________________________________________________________________

🍒 Pudding Mixes are often told to stay away from their Ewe relatives, as their goo doesn't play nicely with an Ewe's wool. Regretfully, this commonly just eggs the mixes on
🍒 Like an Ewe, a Pudding Mix's head mouth lacks a throat that it needs to function. All three belly mouths, however, work just fine. This allows them to talk three times at once or do an eat-breathe-talk combo

HannahBug

Skybound-Mix.png 6: Skybound Mix: Goober + Pterrur

🌿 Hatchling:
Creation > Follow the Pterrur guide
Anatomy differences > Replace the head crest with a small goo crest. The goo will also replace the mane and run down the back and naga tail
Color differences > Skybound Mixes can only be shades of blue! Their membranes (wings and fins) can be a different blue than the base if desired. The goo is the accent color, so the cheek pouches and paw pads are also gooey. Goo is not restricted by Goober design rules and can be any solid color
Baby stuff > Will have three baby fins: one Pterrur-like one on the tail tip and two Goober-like ones on the sides of the naga tail. These can be the wing color or belly color. Hatchlings can have tingeing, but it must also be a blue
Description form > The form in the description should say "blood type" not "temperature". This mix is cold-blooded by default

🌿 Young:
Design > Follow the Pterrur design rules. However, instead of added colors being shades of brown, they'll need to be shades of blue
Matures out of > Will lose tingeing and tail tip fin. The two fins on the sides will stay
Description form > No change

🌿 Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Chubby, color points, drowsiness, growth spurt, short stature, waterfall mane, blotches, boomnana crest, dual crest, fin shreds, fork crest, mountain crest, plow crest, and tower crest
Note > Crests should appear gooey, as they grow out of the goo

🌿 Adult:
Default morphs > Joey, fae, reach, goblin, saur, suarus, and saurling

🍒 Thanks to their blue coloration, Skybound Mixes are experts at blending in with the sky.  Once they learn to fly quietly, they're incredibly stealthy
🍒 When Skybound Mixes grow a crest, it's usually made out of the goop that covers their head. This doesn't make it any less firm, though. They can still headbutt pretty hard

HannahBug

Dipped-Mix.png 7: Dipped Mix: Goober + Superior

🌿 Hatchling:
Creation > Follow the Superior guide
Anatomy differences > Give the keke folded/lop ears (cannot pass shoulders.) Add a 'hair tuft' of goo on the head. The tail tuft will be gooey at the tip
Color differences > Goo will match the color rules in the Goober goo rules (hatchling phase)
Baby stuff > None
Description form > The form in the description should say "blood type" not "temperature"

🌿 Young:
Design > Follow the Superior design rules
Matures out of > N/A
Matures into > Hair, mane, and tail tip will grow at the regular rate for Soups. The muzzle also elongates at the regular rate
Description form > No change

🌿 Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Chubby, color points, drowsiness, growth spurt, sail shreds, short stature, waterfall mane, blotches, missing teeth, and puffball spikes
Matures into > Once they reach this age, the mane and tail tip will fully change from fluff to goo.

🌿 Adult:
Default morphs > Joey, fae, reach, and goblin

🍒 While this mix does start life with a delightful tuft of hair, it's....well....Soups aren't super hot on it being a glob of slime. How does that even work...??
🍒 The goo-hair can be styled without the use of accessories or products due to it's viscosity, but it'll also slowly melt back down into its original shape if left untended

HannahBug

Encrusted-mix.png8: Encrusted Mix: Shiny + regular

🌿 Hatchling:
Creation > Follow the Regular Snakekey guide
Anatomy differences > Metal should be creeping up the arms and naga tail. How far this goes is up to you! At minimum, it must be visible regularly. So you can't, say, hide the metal on the underside of the paws. It must at least poke up to the fingertips. At its maximum, it cannot leave the arms or pass the waist. Baby fin, paw pads, and belly scales will be unaffected
Color differences > Follow the Shiny Snakekey guide for metal coloring rules. The eye color will be replaced by the metal color. Mouth will be belly color
Baby stuff > Will have a baby fin. Can also have belly color tingeing, but only on the face as it cannot overlap the metal
Description form > Belly colors do dictate blood type. White is warm-blooded, black is cold-blooded

🌿 Young:
Design > Follow the Regular Snakekey design rules (or the Shiny Snakekey design rules - they're the same). Design cannot go on metal parts
Matures out of > Baby fin and belly color tingeing
Description form > You can choose whether to include "hoard" or "art type" in the description form. You may also use both! Must have at least one

🌿 Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Bedhead, blotches, chubby, color points, drowsiness, fin shreds, growth spurt, missing teeth, puffball spikes, short stature, glamorous hair, glimmering accents, mismatched metal, and shimmer horns

🌿 Adult:
Default morphs > Joey, fae, reach, and goblin

HannahBug

Cherub-mix.png9: Cherub Mix: Shiny + Plumie

🌿 Hatchling:
Creation > Follow the Plumie Snakekey guide
Anatomy differences > The hatchling will have thin metal plates on the undersides of their wings. The tail tuft will be interrupted by a bell, with feathers poking out around it. Belly scales and mouth will be metal
Color differences > Follow the Shiny Snakekey guide for metal coloring rules
Baby stuff > None
Description form > Belly colors do not dictate blood type. Can be either warm-blooded or cold-blooded regardless of coloring

🌿 Young:
Design > Follow the Plumie Snakekey design rules. Design cannot go on metal parts
Matures out of > N/A
Description form > You can choose whether to include "hoard" or "art type" in the description form. You may also use both! Must have at least one

🌿 Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Bedhead, blotches, chubby, dorsal feathers, downy plumage, feather crest, keratin formations, missing teeth, talons, bell cluster, glamorous hair, glimmering accents, growth spurt, mismatched metal, and short stature

🌿 Adult:
Default morphs > Joey, fae, reach, goblin, roostling, cygnest, and broodlett

HannahBug

Shimmer-mix.png10: Shimmer Mix: Shiny + Fawnette

🌿 Hatchling:
Creation > Follow the Fawnette Snakekey guide
Anatomy differences > Add 1 or 3 disks to the forehead in one of the two possible arrangements for Shinies. In addition, they'll have several smaller disks that bear resemblance to freckles (on the face only). Shimmer Mixes have a mouth with attached teeth like a Shiny
Color differences > Follow the Shiny Snakekey guide for metal coloring rules. Belly color will be replaced with the metal color, covering the baby quills, inner ears, mouth, and belly scales
Baby stuff > Baby quills and a baby spot. Cannot have tingeing
Description form > This mix is warm-blooded by default

🌿 Young:
Design > Follow the Fawnette Snakekey design rules or the Shiny Snakekey design rules. Design cannot go on metal parts
Matures out of > Baby quills
Description form > Can still participate in the Rite of Passage and earn a band. You can choose whether or not to include a "hoard" field in the description form

🌿 Youth:
This mix skips the youth stage!

🌿 Adult:
Default morphs > Joey, fae, reach, goblin, common, and regal
Matures into > Adults will grow a blade on their tail tips. This will match the metal color and double as a weirdly-shaped bell
Misc > Can still participate in Feats and earn a hair style

🍒 Shimmers are preeeeetty much expected to do the usual Fawn trials within Fawn society. They're just shiny after all, that doesn't get you a get out of jail free card...!

HannahBug

Priceless-mix.png11: Priceless Mix: Shiny + Subterfewege

🌿 Hatchling:
Creation > Follow the Subterfewege Snakekey guide
Anatomy differences > The head will be more similar to a Shiny than an Ewe. Rather than being fully covered in fluff, they have a wool head tuft. Have 1 or 3 disks on the head in one of the possible Shiny arrangements. Cheek pouches are regular sized and regularly placed. Bell instead of tail tuft. Have paw pads. No belly mouth - mouth on the head functions as a usual Shiny's does. No belly scales
Color differences > Wool can be any color, but should appear shiny and metallic. Skin can also be any color, but should be similar to the wool. For example, blue wool and teal skin would be okay. Orange wool and green skin would not be. Metal parts (bell, inside of mouth, and disks) will match wool color
Baby stuff > None
Description form > Include a "blood type" field. They can be either warm-blooded or cold-blooded regardless of appearance

🌿 Young:
Design > Follow the Subterfewege Snakekey design rules. Patterns should only go on wool - nowhere else
Matures out of > N/A
Matures into > The paws will poke out from the wool. The lower portion of the naga tail will also become uncovered
Description form > These mixes have a "flavor type", which can be "sweet" or "spicy". They may also have a "hoard" field if you'd like

🌿 Youth:
Usable youth upgrades > Bell cluster, blotches, chubby, glamorous hair, growth spurt, missing teeth, shimmer horns, short stature, arm puffs, back plates, bedhead, and drip wool

🌿 Adult:
Default morphs > Joey, fae, reach, and goblin

HannahBug

Beacon-mix.png12: Beacon Mix: Shiny + Pterrur

🌿 Hatchling:
Creation > Follow the Pterrur Snakekey guide
Anatomy differences > N/A
Color differences > Follow the Shiny Snakekey guide for metal coloring rules. The wings and head crest will be metal. Also follow the Shiny guide for the base color, as this mix can be any color rather than only shades of brown
Baby stuff > Baby fin. May also have belly color tingeing
Description form > This mix is cold-blooded by default

🌿 Young:
Design > Follow the Shiny Snakekey design rules. Design cannot go on metal parts
Matures out of > Baby fin and belly color tingeing

Default morphs > Joey, fae, reach, goblin, saur, saurus, and saurling

🌿 Hatchling:
Creation > Follow the Superior Snakekey guide
Anatomy differences > Give the keke spikes of metal for the head tuft, mane, and tail tuft.
Color differences > Follow the Shiny Snakekey guide for metal coloring rules. Metal does not affect the belly color
Baby stuff > Optional belly color tingeing
Description form > No change. Blood-type is determined by the belly scale color.

🌿 Young:
Design > Follow the Superior Snakekey design rules or the Shiny Snakekey Design rules
Matures out of > Belly color tingeing
Description form > You can choose whether to include "hoard" or "art type" in the description form. You may also use both! Must have at least one

Usable youth upgrades > Chubby, color points, drowsiness, growth spurt, short stature, blotches, missing teeth, puffball spikes, glimmering accents, mismatched metal

Scruffy-Mix.png14: Scruffy Mix: Plumie + regular

🌿 Hatchling:
Creation > Follow the Regular Snakekey guide
Anatomy differences > The first section of the ears will be one long feather, while the rest remains fluff. The body will be covered in short plumage (note that this does not replace the mane or go on the baby fin)
Color differences > The accent color can go on the tips of the ear feathers like a Plumie
Baby stuff > Baby fin and optional belly color tingeing
Description form > No change

🌿 Young:
Design > Follow the Regular Snakekey design rules
Matures out of > Baby fin and belly color tingeing
