inspired by the various "ship with an oc above you" threads (there are what like four of them) and this bruno mars tweet: in this thread you take a peek through the above user's gallery, pick one of their ocs, and pick one of your own who would just fucking hate them. who's gonna annoy your oc the most. who are they most likely to throw down with. who most deeply conflicts with their own moral code. negative relationships are great ways to deep dive into what really matters to a character imo so i thought this'd be interesting!!

- this thread is all ages and not intended to be dark so try to avoid low-hanging fruit like "alice hates bob because bob commits domestic abuse" like god yeah i'd hope so alice
- if we're getting into darker content though then specific content warnings and spoiler blocks are non-optional. just blacking out a sentence isn't enough, you gotta say what you're blocking it out for
- this is about ocs hating other ocs and not people hating ocs so if you're gonna take it personally that your oc is not entirely beloved or you're gonna take your beef with someone else's existence out on their character maybe this is a bad thread for you

I could already tell by reading Yule's bio that Baggle would be a enemy for Yule. Baggle is pretty stupid, all he cares about is food. Already Yule's carrot nose is looking mighty yummy for Baggle. Although Yule could just easily move a few inches to the side. Baggle is rather cumbersome and slow with his belly bigger then his own stubby legs. But Baggle is pretty determined to get that Carrot nose any way he can, which will most likely annoy Yule. To the point where Baggle may end up dead after a few minutes. I'm thinking Yule may find Baggle more annoying if anything.
So Taylor already has a disdain for witches based on her rocky relationship with Willow- and given Willow and Mauve's friendship I think Mauve would also not be a fan of the snooty little celebrity either.

celebrities with terrible personalities? Sign me UP. I could see it like maybe they both are asked to work together for some commercial or show or something. Ken, being a smug brat, probably tries to greet her but can't do it without being a jerk, so it's a whole, "Glad we can work together. Maybe it'll boost your dead career." And I'm sure that leaves a bad first impression for Taylor, and with her own personality would say something along the lines of, "If I wanted my career to grow I wouldn't work with a loser like you."
So you've got two proud jerks that both just insulted each other. That leads to them bickering over every little thing, or making fun of each other over mistakes like a missed line. I feel like, especially with Ken, it would be a more comical kind of rivalry than a real, vicious one. Like two popular brats from high school trying to be more popular than the other. It'd be really cute too sobs

Ohoho.Ā a literal priest and a demon?Ā That is a recipe for chaos. Just think about it. Father finds out that Erin is a demon and doesn't think twice about it and attempts to vanquish them. Erin ends up fooling with him by playing and tricking him and the chaos ensues. Demon meets a priest.
Based on this, I think Mary wouldn't like Sine. Sine has plenty that Mary can get jealous of, but more importantly, she's completely immune against Mary's 'mary sue'-ness, so she'd be able to call out Mary for some selfish things she does, or just mock her cuz it's fun. Also, Sine can't die. I mean she can, she just never stays dead. She can also bypass plot-armor, sometimes. Oh and it's not one sided eighter, Sine can recognise a Mary Sue if she sees one, and is not a fan.
Ok obvious: 'Nate hates fairies and magic vs the magical queen of fairies and magic Titania' asideā¦.
I love to think that Aurelie and Roswell would have a pitiful rivalry! God Roswell would 1000% be jealous of Aurelie's weapons, they are both greedy selfish persons who disguise their wrongdoings as 'religious practices'.
I just can imagine them bickering about the smallest things and who deserved a certain job more than the other etc. Nothing too bad, just two crooks yelling at each other.

Xander and Yeli are friends, right? They're neighbors, they chat all the time, have dinners together, share gardening tips and tricks. They trust each other!
But Roswell, he doesn't. He thinks something's fishy. Something's off about the way Yeli acts-- something robotic. He keeps brining it up, but Xander can never see it and dismisses it as his friend just being odd in his own way, just as they can be to others.
After the Smiley incident, Roswell is at Xander's place a lot more often to keep an eye on him and make sure things are okay. He's a thief! He's a light sleeper! He can tell if someone's moving around within a mile radius.
And that's what he hears one night: shuffling around at night.
He peers out the window and sees Yeli leaving pretty late at night. Suspicious, Ros tails him. He learns the truth and is, thankfully, not caught. When he gets back to Xander he's explaining everything he can as quickly as possible, but Xander, again, dismisses it as some kind of crazy dream. To think that Yeli? Doing that? Absurd.
So Roswell, knowing the truth, decides to not at all trust Yeli and keep him and Xander as far apart from each other as possible. Without letting Yeli know he knows, of course.Ā

Tiberius and Yeli would certainly not vibe, mostly cause Ty just knows something is up with this smiling, nice man. Ty would certainly try to avoid him at all costs, and probably started sleeping with more than one gun under his pillow after first seeing/meeting him lol. will avoid him at all costs, never goes through that neighborhood Yeli resides in, tells his family not to as well. probably becomes a bit paranoid at first, makes sure Yeli doesn't know he exists. Ty is certainly not a fan.

Evelyn would probably find En's overprotectiveness of Ennette to be quite amusing, to say the least lol. she'd probably be a bit more touchy with Ennette when he's around, and cast him those small smirks and glances. i can imagine their conversations sounding quite formal on the outside with that underlying tension underneath and fake smiles haha. the added guards would be funny for Evelyn too, she'd know they certainly were only there cause of her. En's worry wouldn't be in vain of course, as Evelyn does indeed have a habit of getting herself into some pretty dangerous situations!
Zach and Regulus would have a funny enemies to friends dynamic lol. eventually Reg would come around once he realizes Zack isn't as bad as he seems. i can imagine Regulus visiting that pet store a lot, maybe at the start just to annoy Zack, but afterwards he goes cause he enjoys playing with all the puppies(maybe ends up taking one or two home lol). Regulus would probably offer to help out in the shop from time to time too!

I've got a couple ideas, though! Evelyn and Ennette are getting pretty close, even joking about marriage! It's cute, and I live for it, but Papa Bear En is on his way to protect his daughter Ā I see it basically as those kinds of teen romance movies with the disapproving parent shaking his fist at the love interest whenever they manage to trick them KEKEK
Papa En wouldn't be outright smacking Evelyn away, but there would definitely be tension in the air when he's around (and he'll be around a LOT), and his smile will always be just a liiittle too wide. There might also be several guards surrounding Ennette too.
My other idea is Zack and Regulus. It'd be another playful kind of rivalry, like I'd see them at first being irritated with each other since they're both blunt and cold at first, not to mention the natural tension between a vampire and a werewolf. Then maybe Regulus goes into the pet shop, not realizing it's Zack's, to play with the animals and get some attention. They'd both probably have a glare off then until Zack notices how much the puppies love him, then he'd realize that's not such a bad person.
I mean I think it's a given but En and Reef would absolutely be enemies. Though I feel like Reef would see if more of a game as to how much he can make En fear him; I suppose you could say that he wouldn't so much hate En, but more see him as prey or a toy. I think it would be both terrifying and interesting to see how these two would interact with each other, but at the same time I feel like En would already be in a bad situation if he had to face Reef alone anyway, he be a scary boy.Ā
(If Wraith doesn't knock Reef's teeth out first xD)

And just for a bit of fun let's say Father Priest and Eclipse, because I mean......they are totally opposites of each other and the Tiefling does have a dislike for religion due to how controlling it is and well.....given Eclipse's other form of work......yeah.....I get the feeling he will be yelled a lot but still reply with a charming smile of his face, an air of confidence and a calm voice.Ā
Clotilde is outright a asshole bitch to most people. But she is even more of a bitch to those who are emotionally troubled, like Wraith ! Clotilde would really have the fun of making him angry and emotionally unwell while manipulating him as well physically or mentally! The two would definitely not get along and would be enemies since Clotilde fits the description of the shit assholes Wraith hates! Clotilde also is part of the Revolutionaries gang so she also does not get along with Koharu so that adds to the reasons to hate her :ā)
Min Yahui would make Atlas highly uncomfortable, especially because of his friendly front (paired with soulless eyes). He would remind him of someone he'd rather forget. For him a smile paired with empty eyes is one of the worst expressions to see in other people (although he does it himself, which is rather hypocritical). So he would try his bes to avoid Min Yahui but would openly show his mistrust as well.
On a more obvious note Koharu and Shin wouldn't get along. Apart from the fact that he is a criminal and she hunts, well, criminals, he would also simply find her hypocritical and childish, because of the reasoning behind her actions. Justifying committing crimes with the fact that others commit them doesn't hold up to his logic.Ā
Okay, this may seem a bit obvious but hear me out: Val and Barn. Of course a detective isn't going to like someone who does crime. It's only valid if they become sworn enemies in the end.Ā
I can see Val trying to get Barns attention and doing some.. Horrible things for his attention, but Barn keeps ignoring him. So he keeps stepping things up a notch each time. So then Val starts to hate Barn in the long run. (But still tries to get his attention)
