Vassago celestiials

Vassago was on his way to deliver a cake for someone else, but he received a call in the middle of his trip... it was from the buyer, who apparently canceled the cake. He pulled over on his bike and started to call the buyer back, asking what went wrong; he put the phone away and started mulling over what to do with this cake. It was a perfectly good cake too, why let it go to waste?

He decided to try to bring it back home when he ran into Megido. "Ah, excuse me, I'm sorry!" he said rather hurriedly and nervously. "Did I bother you?" he tacked on rather quickly. Megido didn't seem too bothered thankfully, as she just said it was fine. Nonetheless, Vassago seemed somewhat intimidated by her, but tried to power through it as he said "What's your name? My name's Vassago!" She introduced herself and her occupation in a cool tone (an attendant for a fae queen? Even though he was demonic royalty himself, he still felt quite nervous about being in such company!), and after her quite formal introduction she asked him what he was doing with the box in his hands.

Vassago looked away, somewhat embarrassed. "Oh, this? I was on my way to deliver this cake to someone, but they called me mid-trip to cancel the order." He paused for a bit before blurting out "I don't want it to go to waste, so would you mind having a slice?" Megido seemed to lighten up juuust a little bit and she said yes. He felt less nervous as he opened the box and the two sat down under a tree. "I put a lot of effort into this! I hope you like it," he said, trying to appear a bit more collected and calmer than he really was as he cut a slice and placed it onto a plate, and then he handed it over to Megido. "Would you like anything else? I don't have a lot of drinks on my bike asides from water, but I can get you a bottle if you want!"

The cake itself was rather simple, as it was a sponge cake with strawberries and cream. Still, his efforts and talent shone through it!

@ NP: Continuing the sweet tooth theme haha, Vas really likes pastries/candy; he's also more likely to bring food as he likes to bake a lot! (You don't have to incorporate the second detail in if you don't want to though)

v Please go to bed dhesfdr but dw dw I like it ;o;

Astraeus CloudiiSkai

hhhhh you know what? claim. im tired as heck rn but. brain wants kind star boi to share sweets with kind angelic demon. gimme a bit-

Astraeus was on his typical walk back from the nearby bakery, two boxes in his arms, and his pet nightingale, Hoshi, perched upon what was left of his antler, chirping away. The little songbird decided he wanted some attention, suddenly deciding to perch on the star Astra wears on his head, flapping his tan wings in front of his owner's eyes. "Hoshi! Hoshi, please, I can't see-" After a few attempts of getting the troublesome bird to stop, he trips over an uneven part of the sidewalk, dropping the boxes as the bird takes off. He sighs, sitting up as the nightingale chirps at him from afar, as if finding it funny. "Since when were you a mockingbird, Hoshi? Ah-"

A hand is held out to Astra, an offer to help him up. He looks up at the person the hand belongs to, hesitating for a moment before taking it. Once he's up, he collects one of the boxes he dropped, along with his bird, who returns to his perch, while the stranger returns the other box to him. "Thank you~" He smiles. "I'm Astraeus~ And you are~?"

After that quick introduction, Astra checks inside both the boxes. The desserts seemed to at least have stayed in their boxes, though both seemed to have broken apart a bit during the fall. He had an idea looking at the lightly damaged angel food cake he'd bought for himself. He turns back to Vassago, holding out the cake a bit. "Would you like to share this, as a bit of thanks? I typically just eat it all myself, so it'd be nice to enjoy it with someone else~ And I can always get another~"

Regardless of his answer, Astraeus removes the cake, on a small cardboard plate, and places it on a nearby outdoor cafe table, splitting it in half using one of two forks he produced with magic before sitting down, offering Vas one of those forks. "If you want a drink, or anything else in general, I'd be happy to go inside and order it for you~ Or just pay for it~"

(I hope this is alright!! I have some trouble with these types of games so i don't play them often! I did try my best and have been working on it since like 1:30 in the morning and now it's past 3am and i'm really tired- and have work in less than 12 hours- If something's wrong lmk and I'll fix/rewrite it!)

@ NP: Astraeus typically doesn't eat all that much, since he doesn't need to, but has a sweet tooth as well. He'll eat most things that aren't incredibly odd, bitter or, spicy though. he cannot make food though. it's either something sweet from the bakery or bring your own food x)

Candy Troops21

An albino waddle doo looked at her lollipop,"Good to see summoning sweets that aren't weapons can be useful once again. I can easily make some cakes decorated with candies. Good thing I am not really lazy today".

She checked the pantries for ingredients,"I've never made angel food cake before. This will be a new experience",Candy said while taking the flour out.  Now the cook began to read the recipe of making an angel cake. It was much different to the cakes she would normally attempt at baking, especially as the cake had no butter and a ring shape as well but Candy could pull through. She would even decorate it with white chocolate and other fruits. "Hope he likes it!"Candy's eye sparked in pride.

After the door knock and being let in Candy would settle the box and opened it,"I heard you like sweet foods. Here's some I made with my own baking and summoning candy magic. I hope you enjoy".

Candy can easily summon her own sweets but she prefers something either spicy, savory or salty. You can have Candy bake or make food for you if you want.

Hopefully this response is enough.

En Litari II PicklePantry

"Wow, you can make sweets? Like summon them?" En asked incredulously. Now that was a power! Not only could you use it to defend yourself, you'd never go hungry, either! Not to mention how that giant lollipop also gave invincibility?? Wow, he was jealous!
Was it good to eat so much sweets, though? He tilted his head back in thought. Nothing but chocolates and sugar. Sometimes having two candy bars was enough to make him feel more sick than full. Could anyone handle that much of the same food over and over? Well, he always ate onions and he never seemed to get tired of them?
Suddenly, an idea flashed. The prince quickly looked at Candy, then held out his dish of onion rings to her. "Can-Can you chocolate coat them?" he practically drooled. When the deed was done, all he could do was stare in awe, as if blessed by the gods. There they were. Chocolate-covered onion rings. A shaking hand reached to take one. He could feel the warmth underneath the cool chocolate shell. His breathing hitched. And a bite.
"Amazing," wheezed the blissful prince. It was like the area surrounding him had turned soft and pink to match his joy. He quickly looked at Candy and ushered for her to take some. "You should have some with me! They're sweet, but not totally! It's a sweet taste but then you get into the onion ring and it's sooo savory! Seriously, you've got to try it!"

You can reply to him or his evil or king tabs!

"Yes, that's right," En nodded when a summary of his past was given. It took everything in him not to devour the dish entirely, not only because he was starving but because it tasted so good! However, when his exile was brought up, he found his appetite dwindling.
"Well actually," he started quietly with an averted gaze, "There's more to it than that. I tried to cheat and lip sync and they thought that was me making fun of the tradition." Whenever he said it out loud, it felt so obvious that the kingdom's reaction was too aggressive and too unnecessary, even to him, yet no matter how many times he felt that way, in the end the doubts would always crawl over him and justify the punishment.
Deciding to distract himself, En looked up at Lucasia and offered her a small smile. "What about you? Are you royal?" When she answered, he could only blink. A land with a different form of government? It wasn't unheard of, but the idea that there was an unnamed royal family was. Was it an early form of democracy or... something else? He couldn't help but think about his brother and his ideals. He would have been interested in learning more.
"Well then, I guess it's a meal between two non-royals," En chuckled lightly.

 Lucasia Ragnvindr VictoryDrawsStuff

"So...You were banished from your homeland, right as you were heir to the throne, just because you couldn't sing?" Lucasia questioned the banished prince before her, the two sharing a meal of Lucasia's special dish: Twilight Pie, a pot pie with meat, vegetables and some spices in it, crafted in Lucasia's own special way. The two have met as Lucasia was traveling before meeting the prince, and offered the hungry man some of her food that she had brought with her.

En would nod, explaining how he got banished and lost the trust of his entire race. Lucasia listened, interested in the story, but felt pitiful for the prince.

"I see...So that's how it went..." she told him as she ate her share of the dish.

Hearing the princes story reminded Lucasia on how her parents were often nicknamed "the uncrowned king and queen" of her homeland. Even Lucasia was called the "uncrowned princess", but she would rather go on world journey than to rule her own homeland, not wanting to be limited in her cities walls.

Once he finished his story, the prince asked if Lucasia was also of royalty.

The Twilight Heroine giggled a bit, before she answered:

"I am truly not. The people of our homeland often call my family uncrowned royalty, but our city is free from the rule of a monarchy, and I wouldn't want to change it."

.

Note for @NP: You can do whatever you want for Lucasia! She has decent cooking skills but can cook her special dish well, and she prefers to cook while she is outside of her families house sooo keep that in mind! Might do follow ups! <3

KO!!!!! princefizz

This one's a little creepy with what's implied, but there's no actual violence or anything! think of this as a little follow-up to their last interaction. spoiler for length

"Ko's glad you were able to come, Miss Lucasia!" Ko bows his head at the door as he welcomes the Twilight Heroine into their house. After Lucasia's hospitalisation, Ko had invited her over to him and his boyfriend, Vadim's, house to catch up and see how she was doing.

For the house of a famous model and... whatever Ko is, the home is pretty dishevelled. Every piece of furniture is polished and antique, yet the atmosphere of the house is despairingly run down, the little light in the house coming from the lanterns that hang from the walls, hushed and flickering as they walk past.

"How has Miss Lucasia been?" Ko seems not to notice the questioning looks Lucasia is shooting at the cobwebs that have gathered in forgotten corners of the hallways, and doesn't even flinch when the flapping of wings can be heard from a door on their right. "Ko doesn't usually have visitors, so Ko apologises if things are a little dusty." Lucasia nods, and gasps when Ko places his spindly hand on the door to the dining room, and with his little strenght, pushes.

Even when compared to the unlived luxury found in rest of the house, this room is absolutely regal. Bookcases line the walls, packed with tomes upon tomes containing retellings of history, religion and romance, all building around the giant table in the middle of the room, draped in a rich velvet cloth and decorated with candles. A familiar face, Vadim, sits at the head of the table and stands to greet Lucasia as Ko exits the room.

"Good evening, Miss Ragnvindr. It is good to see you again," he chuckles humourlessly, beckoning to the seat opposite to his, on the other side of the table. "feel free to take a seat. The meal will be brought momentarily."

Ko smiles innocently, the hollow of his cheekbones casting a dark shadow, waving as he walks in from the door behind his boyfriend, holding a plate covered by a cloche. He silently walks down the entire length of the dining table, setting the plate in front of Lucasia and removing the cloche to reveal what the two have prepared. There's some sort of well-done looking meat, mushroom, a salad on the side and two plump golden dumplings, all served in blood sauce. The most glaring feature of the meal, though, is the goat head, cooked just as the rest of the meat is, laying at the head of the plate.

Lucasia gulps, watching Ko cheerfully make the trip back to Vadim's seat at the table, sitting just beside him, legs dangling off of the chair childishly as he leans on his hands sat on the chair between his legs. Ko's watchful gaze, full of a puerile wonder, brings Lucasia's attention to the fact that Ko has only brought food for her.

Vadim notices Lucasia's hesitance, and coughs to catch her eye, his voice a deep, rumbling silk. "Don't worry about us. Ko is on a diet, and I thought it unfair that he would be the only one not to partake in the meal. You don't mind, do you?" Lucasia shakes her head no, and Vadim smiles knowingly, his eyes meeting hers as he brings his wine glass to his lips. It's a different drink to the one she was served, blood red and thick, sitting heavy in the chalice. Lucasia awkwardly pierces the goat (?) meat with the metallic fork and brings it to her mouth. It's seasoned and savoury, yet all the sauce can't make up for the fact that it's horrendously dry, so much so that she almost chokes.

"Ko's so glad you're doing well! Ko's been through the same before. You recovered pretty quick! As expected of the Twilight Heroine, huh?" As Ko starts up a conversation, the cloud of tension hanging over the table dissipates and Lucasia lets herself forget about the strange atmosphere, for the time being. Yet, whenever she meet's Vadim's - the partner of such a happy-looking and cheerful man - eye, she can't help but suspect there's something eery going on behind the veil.

for next poster - ko really doesn't eat much at all . he's pretty self conscious about his weight and all that

Egon kordesii

After their brief encounter before, Egon had not been expecting to see Ko ever again, but he spotted the bright colored fur and knew instantly who it was. He paused for a moment before deciding to go over to Ko, who was currently sitting alone at a small outside table of a café. He took a seat across from Ko, offering a bright smile and a small wave, "hey, who would've thought we'd be meeting up again so soon?" He asked, propping his head up on the palm of his hand. He leaned back in the seat after a moment, looking Ko up and down and realizing that somehow he seemed to look almost... smaller.

Before he could speak up though, a waitress came over to the duo, offering to take their order. Egon didn't let the other speak up before ordering enough food to feed the both of them and then some, waiting a moment for the waitress to walk away before he turned back to Ko, "listen, you look smaller. You should eat more." He said with a small nod, "or else you won't be able to fight well!" He added, lifting up his arm and flexing it with a laugh. "Running away gets you no where, yeah?" His arm fell back to the table as the waitress brought over some water, Egon thanking her with a smile and taking a sip before beginning to talk again,

"But anyways, I never really introduced myself the last time! I'm called Egon, nice to meet you." He seemed to pause for a moment before he reached his hand over the table to offer it to shake.

@NP: Egon will eat anything and everything. he loves food :)

Adaleigh Achterburg VictoryDrawsStuff

Adaleigh and Egon met unexpectedly when Ada got lost in the city she was to travel in, being an undercover as a spy. And now she is being treated to a lunch with the man at some fancy restaurant that she has never been to, not even back home in New York.

The restaurant was simple, but fancy. It seemed to be international cuisine, with nationalities of dishes that Adaleigh has never tried before, but was rather interested in trying out. After all, a perk of being a spy is that you get to travel, and try our new dishes from all over the world after all.

Egon seemed rather excited, telling Adaleigh of all the dishes that he has tried out before. It seems to be that the man was not picky at all with food choices, which amused Adaleigh.

The two soon got seated, the undercover spy turning to Egon with a bright smile on her face as she told him:

”Well thanks for getting me out of such a pinch of being lost! If you want I can pay for this dish, you don’t have to do anything!”
.

Note for @NP: I will try to follow up! Adaleigh is not that picky but she cannot tolerate drinking alcohol, it will make her very sick :”) (she is of age but she can’t drink alcohol for that matter,,,)

Kul T. Leder PicklePantry

"We-hell now! It's not the first time I've spoken with a veteran-- Er, thank you for your work, by the way. I actually have a few in my group! The, er, group that helps get me ready for my motivational speeches, of course! But because it's such a large group, we don't get the funds for special food very often." To emphasize that, Kul set down a silver platter where there were two plates of beans on toast.
"Have you ever tried this before? I hear it's a delectable dish overseas, and you know what? I agree! They're on to something, I tell you." He set cups of water down for the both of them. "These beans, by the way, are only the finest baked beans! Bush's! Bush's Baked Beans, I mean! Have you ever had them? Magnificent." He sat down then gestured to the plates. "Well? Go on, dig in! I'll... Well, I can't exactly take off my helmet, so I'll wait until you're done." He fidgeted, though, and his stomach growled. Oh, how he hoped she'd be quick...!

"Oh, I am SO glad you could make it!" Kul hummed delightedly from the makeshift kitchen area. The meeting spot for his, er, motivational group was in an abandoned restaurant, and though it wasn't the prettiest, they'd all managed to make it homey enough to rest and work when needed, especially for the leader. He hummed a tune to himself, an upbeat one he claimed to have learned from a thing called "TikTok", then, after another moment, stepped out with an open can in each hand. "I brought out the finest of my beans for you!" he cooed as he set the can down next to Blou.
He was almost trembling with anticipation, waiting to see the excitement on her face and the squealed caws. To his surprise, and somewhat disappointment, she... also seemed disappointed! With the beans?! His rare, limited edition of baked beans?! She still ate them, though. Was it that she didn't like this particular flavor? This brand, maybe? Were such things even possible?
Hmm. This was a real bean critic he was dealing with here. Quite the challenge! But a welcome one, nonetheless.
Kul plopped down on the drafty couch besides Xander, stirring his beans around in thought. "I'm very happy you came to my speech. You didn't have to come, though. Unless, of course, you're interested in our goal?" he mused, perking slightly. "Many people consider darkness to be evil. I don't. I saw the truth when the apocalypse happened, you know. He tried to save us! And people shooed him away like the ungrateful brats we as a species are." He sighed and shook his head before looking back at Xander. "That's besides the point, though. You, my friend, you have a very important connection! You've met a young man with white hair and golden eyes, right? I have an idea that he might be the key to something big. Can you tell me everything you know about him?"

Xander Klingelhof (Blou) fizzelston

Blou was ecstatic. She croaked, ringed, mimicked part of the national anthem (in Salvador's voice), flapped her wings and most notably circled around Kul's feet like a hungry cat.
"Beans!" She said. "Beans," she added. The cult leader had spoken about many things, beans was one of them. Oh. Did Blou like 'beans' (actually she liked peas. But her small brain kept intertwining those words.) After Kul speeches where he had promised his followers, Everlasting Darkness and a new World, your typically cult leader stuff, Kul had singled Xander and Blou out and asked them to stay for a bit. Kul offered the small bird beans. Xander grimaced as he stared at the scene unfolding. He knew Blou liked peas more than beans, but he was too polite to say anything. Besides. He was wondering why he was at this cult meeting in the first place. He wasn't a member….. Right?

Blou did not care about Xander's inner and outer personality crisis and stared at Kult who carried two tin-cans of beans in his hands. One for him and.. He set the can down. One for her.
Blou carefully approached the can and poked her beak in. Those aren't the 'beans' they were promised to her. Blou puffed up her feathers. Lifted up her head. Her beak was soaked in bean-juice and tomato paste.
"Beans?" She asked. The bird sounded confused with a hint of disappointment, maybe? Before she stuck in her beak again. Oh well. Blou will get her beans another day. These tomato-peas are fine too.

Gossamer Tarentelle Pompadork

Gossamer pulled the chair out from his quaint little dining table and beckoned Briar over. "Sit." He said bluntly, gently pushing the seated stranger in towards the table. Stepping away for a moment he rifled around in his kitchen, careful not to get his apron in anything that would stain it (as if that wasn't the whole point of wearing one).

Returning with two plates he places one in front of Briar, what appears to be some sort fish with a little bit of garnish for looks. He sits at the far end of the table, and quietly looks expectantly at his guest, waiting for them to start. "Don't worry about mannerisms, I understand that you must be nothing but starved after working all day." As Briar dug into the meal, Gossamer very quietly began as well, occasionally glancing up to make sure he was enjoying his food.
