What role would the above OC play in a video game?

Just as the title says, this is a game where you take a look at the oc above your post and come up with the role they might play in a video game!

Here are a few things to remember while you're playing:

  • I shouldn't have to say this more than once, but please be respectful of one another.
  • Put some effort into what you're going to say. I'm sure that the other person will appreciate it!
  • If you're going to write something rather long, you may want to claim the post above you, just in case.
  • You can post once for every other three posts. If the thread hasn't moved in 24 hours, you may post before this.
  • NEW ** As of February 27th, please be sure to write more than one sentence. We want to see your imagination run!
  • NEW ** Also as of February 27th, make sure to give the character's profile a read - it helps in forming your assumption of their role! It also shows that you've thought about your answer, and everyone appreciates it. If there isn't anything to their profile and they merely have visuals, disregard this. :)

But how do I play?

  • Though this game might seem somewhat difficult, it's actually quite the opposite!
  • All you have to do is look at the above oc and come up with their role in a video game.
  • Here are some questions you might want to ask yourself if you're stumped: "Are they a protagonist, antagonist, NPC, boss, party member, etc? What genre of video game might they belong in? Do they have any particular movesets? Do they serve a special purpose? Do they do something special in-game?"

Here's an example:

  • Person 1: What kind of video game character would characterA be?
  • Person 2: They look really buff and strong-willed, so they might be the protagonist! I could see them in some fantasy setting, like a noble knight trying to save a princess or something? They look like they could carry around really heavy weapons, and can pack a punch, so I'd say they're the heavy-hitter of the team.

 Dianyu Springroll

I can see Ellair as a boss in an RPG. They would probably be a misunderstood character, who is manipulated by the main, final Boss. However, when you beat Ellair, they will actually join you on your team or help you out with the final boss, who they want to get revenge on!

I would say Dianyu would be a familiar! Specifically for a shadow magic mage. He could even be a shadow magic summon or assist too

Tammy would be the boss of the player character. Though she'd be relatively kind, the game would be hinting at her secret

I feel that Nathair would act as an NPC who helps out with some tutorials! I feel that he would teach some more advanced inputs and techniques, and may sometimes set tasks to help the player consolidate what they've learnt. He also helps out with a quest here and there, though he doesn't officially join the party at any point. He'd be more of someone who provides advice on where to go and what to do.

I'm going to say you are a key supporting party member. RPG or dungeon crawler style game. Based on the 17 in the name I'm going to go with rouge clone or child soldier who joins either as a party's lightning fast glass cannon or mission control. He'd be the tactical sort that's stats are geared to be fast and hit hard. Would need some protection set up. Story wise he'd probably start off as an enemy unit for a survival map before joining the main team. Would most likely end up the main character in the sequel.

I feel like Xeno would be one of those ambiguous "sidequests" (not really a sidequest like one you'd get from a random citizen but one of those little detours from the main mission) that ends up having a bigger impact on the plot than you thought. Maybe the player character would be hired to bring Xeno back home after running away again, only to find out if you hadn't something big would've happened, and then you have to get Xeno's help again. I dunno if I'm making any sense but basically I think Xeno would start off as a side character and would prove himself to be a bigger character. Something like that, at least!

 Allen Pharos-Chan

I can totally see November either being the protagonist of a detective game. Something in the style of Phoenix Wright, where you go around and collect evidence. All of her speech option would be witty, cute, intuitive, and spunky, giving the player a well rounded feeling that this girl is one smart and feisty cookie.

I can also see her being the best friend of a main character, if she is not the protagonist herself!! She would not only bring well-needed comic relief, but she would be essential in the development of the main character as they progress through the story! I'd definitely see her being like this in a game styled after the Persona franchise, where the player would be given a chance to 'social link' with her, learning about her life and troubles, while given the opportunity to help her, and earn her trust in return!

I think Allen would be a character that if the player should take a criminal route, will have to fight at some point. Should they take a governmental route, they have a chance of reruiting Allen into their team and learn about his past and love for small animals. Which I imagine would be a huge focus point for the fandom of the video game.

I kinda imagine Allen in a choice based, a storyline that has a  first-person shooter style at some points.

Faust Maddi-Lion

Peridian would be an important support character for the player. He'd act as a tutorial helper in the beginning, thanks to him living in the past. As the game progresses though the player would come more attached to him and need his ability in more dangerous spots

Io RobotOcelot

Faust would most likely be a character that you end up having to do a lot of important quests for. Most of them would involve the exchange of important information or items from other characters in the game with connections to her. If you complete all of her quests, even the optional ones very well, she gives you an item or ability that helps you immensely later on in the game. However, if you don't fulfill that criteria, you can still progress, and maybe get a lesser luck granting hold item.
