What role would the above OC play in a video game?

Just as the title says, this is a game where you take a look at the oc above your post and come up with the role they might play in a video game!

Here are a few things to remember while you're playing:

  • I shouldn't have to say this more than once, but please be respectful of one another.
  • Put some effort into what you're going to say. I'm sure that the other person will appreciate it!
  • If you're going to write something rather long, you may want to claim the post above you, just in case.
  • You can post once for every other three posts. If the thread hasn't moved in 24 hours, you may post before this.
  • NEW ** As of February 27th, please be sure to write more than one sentence. We want to see your imagination run!
  • NEW ** Also as of February 27th, make sure to give the character's profile a read - it helps in forming your assumption of their role! It also shows that you've thought about your answer, and everyone appreciates it. If there isn't anything to their profile and they merely have visuals, disregard this. :)

But how do I play?

  • Though this game might seem somewhat difficult, it's actually quite the opposite!
  • All you have to do is look at the above oc and come up with their role in a video game.
  • Here are some questions you might want to ask yourself if you're stumped: "Are they a protagonist, antagonist, NPC, boss, party member, etc? What genre of video game might they belong in? Do they have any particular movesets? Do they serve a special purpose? Do they do something special in-game?"

Here's an example:

  • Person 1: What kind of video game character would characterA be?
  • Person 2: They look really buff and strong-willed, so they might be the protagonist! I could see them in some fantasy setting, like a noble knight trying to save a princess or something? They look like they could carry around really heavy weapons, and can pack a punch, so I'd say they're the heavy-hitter of the team.

Ryn Aarix

I feel like Kyle could be an antagonist, not the big bad but possibly one of their cronies, who later reforms a bit and could end up as a party member? He'd be rly prickly and secretive at first, and the rest of the party aren't sure if they can trust him either, but he warms up to them after a while.... maybe.

 Lián Yuán CARAMELONE

I could see Ryn as a party member of the main protagonist, the type of party member in an adventure RPG that keeps the mood light by cracking jokes and pulling pranks on the enemy. Maybe a thief type character?

 The Forestchild AlwaysGradient

Aishi could be the possible love interest or an imortant informant in a government sabotage type of game.

 Chiboru Springroll

The Forestchild could be a party member to the main protagonist in an RPG, who specializes in setting up traps that go off after a certain time, and can also make potions or brews out of materials he is currently holding

Hope ❤ Snowpuff

He is one digimon

I think Chiboru can be one monster/enemy in one fantasy RPG. Probably one of the most stronger ones.

Salvador Wapenburg fizzelston

That NPC that is your ally/quest giver or your enemie/target. Your interactions with her really depends on what kind of 'route' you in the game take. As she's your most important quest giver in the 'maffia' story line, but your worst nightmare in the 'goody two shoes' line. Her death is in both routes really tragic tho

Ranza Sleepy-Thunder

Sal seems like he would be the party planner since he's good with time. Perhaps the leader of the party even, preferring to stand back and tell people what to do instead of getting involved in the fighting.

Reika spacecadet

I can see him as a very powerful, maybe titular character in a RPG that you play as not him but someone else, trying to save him or find him. You wouldn't see him or even know what he looks like until the end of the game where maybe he assists you in the boss battle.

Sophia KittyKnight

I think Reika would be a reoccurring party member. She would probably tag along for some quests and help out in battle. Most of her quests usually relate to her work as a ninja in some way and if asked about it, she usually tries to steer the conversation away from the topic. Although she'd eventually join the party full time by the end of her quest line, and would probably be similar to a thief class in an RPG - quick and swift, though not incredibly strong.

Hiromasa Moto finalboykun

I can easily picture Sophia as a party member to be unlocked in the later stages of a game, certainly once the protagonist has spent more time with her and has gotten her to open up a little more. Her design suggests ties to winter and the cold, so maybe she'd be able to dish out ice-themed attacks and things of that nature (freezing the enemy, snowballs, icicle projectiles, etc). Her introduction might center around her stumbling lost into a dangerous area and declining offers from the main character to escort her to safety; the MC does end up having to protect her, however, and they eventually gain her friendship this way.
