What role would the above OC play in a video game?

Just as the title says, this is a game where you take a look at the oc above your post and come up with the role they might play in a video game!

Here are a few things to remember while you're playing:

  • I shouldn't have to say this more than once, but please be respectful of one another.
  • Put some effort into what you're going to say. I'm sure that the other person will appreciate it!
  • If you're going to write something rather long, you may want to claim the post above you, just in case.
  • You can post once for every other three posts. If the thread hasn't moved in 24 hours, you may post before this.
  • NEW ** As of February 27th, please be sure to write more than one sentence. We want to see your imagination run!
  • NEW ** Also as of February 27th, make sure to give the character's profile a read - it helps in forming your assumption of their role! It also shows that you've thought about your answer, and everyone appreciates it. If there isn't anything to their profile and they merely have visuals, disregard this. :)

But how do I play?

  • Though this game might seem somewhat difficult, it's actually quite the opposite!
  • All you have to do is look at the above oc and come up with their role in a video game.
  • Here are some questions you might want to ask yourself if you're stumped: "Are they a protagonist, antagonist, NPC, boss, party member, etc? What genre of video game might they belong in? Do they have any particular movesets? Do they serve a special purpose? Do they do something special in-game?"

Here's an example:

  • Person 1: What kind of video game character would characterA be?
  • Person 2: They look really buff and strong-willed, so they might be the protagonist! I could see them in some fantasy setting, like a noble knight trying to save a princess or something? They look like they could carry around really heavy weapons, and can pack a punch, so I'd say they're the heavy-hitter of the team.

Germany GLITCH-DXCTOR

Definitely one of the minions of the boss, found as a mini-boss battle in the final stage, with a super epic cutscene where it blocks the player's path

 Sasha Niev Jellysideaccount

The edgy marriage character that everyone wants but is extremely hard to get.

μ AllSeeingPortrait

Definitely a sidequest-giving NPC.

 Amai AlwaysGradient

An important character to the main quest. Possibly you need to get some information from him and he gets so darn frustrating since you need to do a half billion side quests for him like collect a million pine cones and toss all of them into somebody's yard.

 Klüb IcE Rosakura

I feel like she'd start off as a side character in her human form, asking someone to buy this box of chocolates that she really likes, then near the end of the game she appears in her Oni form in a seven deadly sins themed boss area as a gluttony boss.

Anonymous Lilina

He should be a boss character for a nightclub-themed stage.

Ren looks like the character that would play the role of an antihero or possible antagonist. I'll write out the possibilities for both:

For an anti hero, they would most likely star in a game where the protagonist has to hop between dimensions or travel dangerous places, thus putting their trust in Ren. It would probably be modeled like a Lego game, in where you can switch between two characters and use their differences to solve puzzles. It would generally be more lighthearted of a story.

For an antagonist, they would be the "fall from grace" villain who thinks they're doing something for the greater good for the majority of the game. The pallete of the game would be mostly dark and dull, with a  few splashes of color here and there in special instances. It would generally have a deeper, more solemn feeling.

Their color scheme definitely fits both roles quite well, with their descriptions too.

Michael Pastore KittyKnight

I feel like she'd be a protagonist for an adventure game! She'd travel planets, exploring the world and trying to regain her memory. Her signals act as abilities for her, but every now and again the levels become drastically difficult when she's experiencing signals from her parents and can't use any of her abilities. Think like the fludd-less levels from Super Mario Sunshine.

 Inti Synchronicity

First of all, I love seeing Mafia/ToS-inspired OCs :D, viva la mafia!!

Anyways, I see Michael as having one of two roles. He could be a major antagonist in an action game where the mafia is an enemy, even though it becomes clear to the player that he resents taking orders and, if he were godfather, they wouldn't have gotten involved with the protagonist's heroic adventure. But, his self-confidence and arrogance get the better of him and he won't stop until he beats the player, which will lead to his eventual defeat. I could also see him as a Ratbag-esque character like in Shadows of Mordor/War -- he will team up with the player (probably reluctantly on both ends) and they will help him discreetly achieve power in the mafia (by taking out the other higher-ups for him so he doesn't get the blood on his hands :"D) while he feeds them information that can help them, which he gets more access to the more he ranks up, until he eventually reaches Consigliere/Underboss status and/or becomes Godfather.

Neon Toxin GLITCH-DXCTOR

Definitely a supporter/paladin/healer in a Fire Emblem type adventure/RPG game! She gives off that sort of vibe in my opinion, and her healing powers would naturally come from the sun. When paired with the moon paladin, Koray, both of their statistics are boosted and the skill Unified Dichotomy can be unleashed! With that skill, they can carve a path of light down the battlefield and heal any allies within that area!

Also, she'd hold some secret--the McGuffin, perhaps--and be a key character in defeating the final boss!

BEEF BEEF hedgemaze

Definitely a boss-- maybe the final boss, maniacal, crazed, and bent on destroying the player-- but since he's a coward he'd have you face all his lackeys first. Even if he's not the final boss, I definitely think he'd a boss, someone you would have to deal with on your travels before he'd let you continue with your quest.

Maylu axolotl

Hmm BEEF BEEF strikes me as an NPC. Either one that would encourage the protagonist after some kind of hard challenge, lightening the mood (like a sort of comic relief), or he would present the protagonist with a quest to help him recover something he misplaced or sort out some kind of mess.
