What role would the above OC play in a video game?

Just as the title says, this is a game where you take a look at the oc above your post and come up with the role they might play in a video game!

Here are a few things to remember while you're playing:

  • I shouldn't have to say this more than once, but please be respectful of one another.
  • Put some effort into what you're going to say. I'm sure that the other person will appreciate it!
  • If you're going to write something rather long, you may want to claim the post above you, just in case.
  • You can post once for every other three posts. If the thread hasn't moved in 24 hours, you may post before this.
  • NEW ** As of February 27th, please be sure to write more than one sentence. We want to see your imagination run!
  • NEW ** Also as of February 27th, make sure to give the character's profile a read - it helps in forming your assumption of their role! It also shows that you've thought about your answer, and everyone appreciates it. If there isn't anything to their profile and they merely have visuals, disregard this. :)

But how do I play?

  • Though this game might seem somewhat difficult, it's actually quite the opposite!
  • All you have to do is look at the above oc and come up with their role in a video game.
  • Here are some questions you might want to ask yourself if you're stumped: "Are they a protagonist, antagonist, NPC, boss, party member, etc? What genre of video game might they belong in? Do they have any particular movesets? Do they serve a special purpose? Do they do something special in-game?"

Here's an example:

  • Person 1: What kind of video game character would characterA be?
  • Person 2: They look really buff and strong-willed, so they might be the protagonist! I could see them in some fantasy setting, like a noble knight trying to save a princess or something? They look like they could carry around really heavy weapons, and can pack a punch, so I'd say they're the heavy-hitter of the team.

Renee Cabal zeotaku

Io looks like the NPC that gives you very shady information or the one that's dedicated to a specific set of side quests that get you something OP in the game.

Inquisitor OniRupture

Renee pegs me as an NPC that offers the main character support. I feel like she wouldn't do much combat but would reply with quips and advice. I'd want her on my team!

Taesha de Santana zeotaku

probably the protag of a very edgy [game in his time]. it's based like a zelda game- more so puzzles than brawl. all he uses is knifes- he has an unreal inventory of knifes out of know where. he uses them for melee, ranged, anything. the plot is very edgy- mixed with bad puns to flashbacks of abuse. his final boss has epic choir music and he becomes the knife god and uses knives to purge the final boss- after dying 100 times, ofc. after that, he goes to the beach or some shit. the game is probably very hard btw.

AlwaysGradient

I imagine Taesha to be a possible ally in a magic-based game. Arresting the player character once or twice if they do something illegal. Perhaps getting attached to Taesha through dialogue and hints at her backstory. Though if the player character plays their cards right, they'll be able to get Taesha as an ally on their team.

Shiro GalaxieAuLait

I feel like Aquila could be a story-important NPC who would send the protagonist on their way, be the tutorial guy, and then you find out later in the game that he had ties to the bad guy, if that makes sense? I feel like he'd fit not really as a final boss or true big bad, but like, you find out he's corrupt but for a good cause (and that the game was possibly you having him put people in their place without seeming suspicious), your character figures out that they can't actually take any action against him even if they wanted to, and the game sorta ends on on that note.

I may have unintentionally exaggerated Aquila's bad side, so please forgive me if that's the case! He's a character I really enjoy reading about so I hope I was somewhat accurate.

Joey.D.wyvern Joey-D-yvern

Shiro seems like a keeper of texts whether they be spells or information about enemies and monsters. A key NPC if you wish to know the lore of the world.

Montgomery GLITCH-DXCTOR

Joey would definitely be the hidden room boss that drops super sick loot! The weapons dropped would be third highest quality in the game, plus there'd be a crown vanity item.

Korina PurpleAsters

I feel like Montgomery would be the NPC who gives you directions/info, but only after having do a quest first, and it would be a weird boring one like getting food or finding a family heirloom he lost.

Martie Truman KittyKnight

I feel that Jiwoo would act as an innkeeper in a RPG. She’d let the player stay the night for... An aburdly large amount. But the inn seems rather well maintained, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Still gotta question some of the people staying there.

However, you’d then see her working at the town pub, seducing some people. If the player spoke to her she’d probably try and charm the player. Turns out it’s a regular thing which happens now and again, according to the townspeople... You’d also learn some things here and there about her, and I wouldn’t be surprised if she betrayed the player near the end of the game.

AB Darkanra

Uhm, the Mayor of a town the player passes through?
After the player has explored the town a bit, as part of the plotline, they would have to go and talk to the Mayor to understand what is going on. Martie would then give them a quest that is essential to the plotline, and then after they have completed it, would either give them a large reward or be kidnapped or something to advance the plot.

Sweet Guy d-m

AB would be that character who you think is going to be an enemy (and maybe you fight them at one point!) but they eventually end up joining your party, maybe reluctantly.  They also act as a source of hints since AB would probably have inside info on the antagonists.
