1. Their physical weak spots
Although his horns themselves do not have nerves in them, Felren has sensation where his horns meet his skull. If one were to cut down to the live bone core of his horns it would hurt immensely. More available physical weak spots are the tips of his extremities; toes, tail tip, fingers, and ear tips. He also has a rather large scar that is still sensitive to touch and temperature.
2. Their emotional/moral weak spots
Antithetical to his role as a guide and protector, Felren has a tendency to be selfish and harbors an unfortunate (and to him greatly disconcerting) amount of partiality. He tends to prefer his own people over the likes of travelers, and his slanted preferences have only been accentuated by the war and the loss of friend and family it inflicted. He watched as the people that had taken advantage of his kingdom's hospitality so many times fled at the first sign of trouble. After all the comfort, food, rest, and medical assistance--after all the protection this kingdom had granted these travelers--they refused to return the favor. Felren's deep-rooted bitterness manifests itself in a tendency to be wary of all outsiders, and while his pre-war convictions allowed him to offer this service with grace and gladness, his true motive behind guiding others out from the dangers of the surrounding woods now is defying the enemies occupying his lands.
3. Scars or painful spots
All Descendants left alive were brandished with a mark so that their assailants could tell who was intentionally allowed to continue living and who slipped between the cracks. Elderly and very young Descendants were all slaughtered in order to reduce "unnecessary resource depletion." Only those who ate to work were left to live. Many women Descendants were also killed so that offspring would never be a concern, but due to sexual monomorphism (which the kingdom who stole the Descendant's land of not familiar with) many women were just thought of as men and were allowed to live. Each one bears a vertical scar that crosses over the torso region, and the presence of these scars are routinely searched for to make sure no unintentional survivors slipped through the cracks. As expected, Felren has one of these scars.
16. Dark secrets/’skeletons in the closet’
Aside from the fact that Felren would never admit to his occupation becoming more of a way to resist than a way to help, he would also never admit to how often he treated his children with contempt. He would like to believe he wasn't neglectful, but he knows he was all too indifferent towards them. What never failed to catch his interest were their mistakes, and he was always quick to correct them. The lack of fatherly affection he showed--which has become painfully apparent now that his children are no longer living--is a secret that will haunt and hound him and him alone to the grave.
