9. Humiliating memories

Adore's first attempt at drowning a human didn't go well at all. He completely messed up. He didn't hold them under for long enough periods of time, and they had gotten away eventually. The man had come back with a group trying to hunt down Adore, but luckily he was never caught in any of their nets. He had to migrate shortly after that, and he hasn't been back to that particular spot (close to where he was born, actually) in a long time. 

18. Things they'll never admit

 He longs for a deep romance. Perhaps with a lovely woman, perhaps even with a man, should it happen. He doesn't mind the men of his own species, but he does find human men physically appealing, even if it's in his nature to end up killing them. Adore is seen as callous and evil, which he is, no doubt, but he does have some sensitive spots. He loves having his hair brushed and played with and will absolutely turn into a puddle if someone gets a hold of it. Adore also has night terrors sometimes, and used to sleep with a security item for longer than he would've liked to admit.

19. People they’ve hurt or indirectly killed, and how it affected them

Countless human men, which at first bothered him, since he wasn't always evil, but he got used to it quickly. Now, killing a human man is nothing to him.

He did once hurt a young girl inadvertently, and he was pretty guilty about it for a while. Girls are precious to him, and children are inherently innocent so he doesn't feel a need to be cruel to them. He had meant to grab for her father but she protected him, and he had scratched her, unfortunately. Adore moped all day about it, regretting ever hurting the girl.

Not living up to people's expectations.  Being rejected by his people.  Slight apprehension/fear of the outside world.

Lots of smaller Leviathans when he couldn't save them from the bigger ones because of his own weakness/fear.

20 - What-ifs/Alternative timelines

He's a very different character in AUs where he's raised by his biological mother.  A lot more hate-filled, obsessive and harder to break.

Ellie:

3. Scars or painful spots

Ellie has typical marks, stretchmarks and cellulite and whatnot in certain places due to their body type (curvy in the right places). He has a scar on his left knee from a nasty fall when he was a little elven child. His feet tend to hurt since he walks long distances and over rough terrain. Back aches come with that, too, but both are easily remedied with magic and herbs. 

5. Guilty pleasures

Love, love, LOVES the in-universe equivalent of soap dramas. They're like soap drama plays and she can't get enough of them. A bunch of traveling shows do them and they're quite common, a lot of folk act and do different kind of shows, but Ellie absolutely loves the romantic dramas and tragedies and whatnot. Sometimes she gets overly invested and ends up crying.

8. Bad memories/experiences

There's a specific bad memory that sticks out, and that's when Ellie was first learning how to use fire magic. They were very young and their grandmother was the one mentoring them and when they tested it out, they accidentally set her hair on fire (Ellie had aimed too far up). They were very ashamed of themselves and didn't practice fire magic for a long time, too afraid of setting something else on fire, and even though it was an accident and their grandmother wasn't mad at them, they still felt a lot of guilt. Thankfully it wasn't anything worse - there are definitely worse memories for Ellie, but it's one that comes to mind.

2. Their emotional/moral weak spots - Reine's too nice for her own good. She's too eager to help others, and that often leads to her own downfall, as people take advantage of that and tend to walk all over her. She also has a soft spot for hopeless cases and will often end up getting terribly hurt getting way over her head thinking she can make a difference in a situation that's ultimately unsalvageable.

11. Bad or petty habits - I guess her worst habit is jumping into every chance she can to try to help someone. She says it's almost her own instinct to want to help even when there's nothing she can do. A more petty one, though, would probably be that she absolutely must do her prayers three times a day, no matter where she is. Even if she's in the middle of a thorny situation, she's going to be speaking her prayers to her goddess aloud and doing her best to go through the motions, much to the chagrin of anyone she may be traveling with.

21. Turning points in their life - Reine still needs a lot of development, so I haven't given this too much thought yet, but I do have a couple! The first major turning point in her life was when she was accepted as a cleric of Amphion as a young girl. She didn't really have any other prospects other than maybe being married off to someone's son to seal some sort of business deal, but she was luckily found to be of use to the conclave, so she was taken in. The next one would be her decision to heed the call for help from the forsaken village of Longbridge ward off the demonic beasts that attacked the village on occasion. It finally gave her a chance to prove her worth, both as a cleric and as a helper.

"Touch me and you'll lose your fingers." | Everywhere; physical contact makes him think he's being burned. Not quite physically, but his mental state and view of himself makes it hard for him to keep his cool. That being said, if he ever got passed that, he would probably be stupidly ticklish on his sides.

2. Their emotional/moral weak spots

"No one is perfect, but if I'm not the best, then I'll become the worst." | He yearns for acceptance, but has taken up the belief that he doesn't deserve that for circumstances beyond his control. At the first hints of caring from another person, he feels nothing but doubt and is more than happy to shove them away most of the time. Morally, he's a mixed bag; he feels guilt for some of the things he's done over the years, but in most cases, he would never try to go back and fix them. He's done bad things, but he believes it was for a good cause. The only really bad thing he's done that he feels absolutely no remorse over is framing his father and family for a crime none of them took part in. His father may have deserved a bad end; the rest of them were innocent. Soleil feels the need to outclass anyone and everyone because of his downsides.

6. Their vices (physical or emotional)

"Are my flaws that interesting to you?" | Though very patient, he is extremely vengeful, and his retaliations often blown way out of proportion. He'll help other people, but generally only in order to make them owe him favors in the future. He only takes care of himself because the princess asks him to; otherwise, he would let his body die. He doesn't often drink, but when he does, he goes overboard.
