Q you wish someone would ask to/about your OC?

Posted 6 years, 1 month ago (Edited 5 months, 11 days ago) by hedgemaze

So there are a number of threads for asking questions to or about other people's characters, but do you ever have that one question you really wish someone would ask that they never do? A detail you think is particularly interesting or mysterious, or maybe just something you think would be really fun to talk about, but there isn't really a forum game that suits it? Well, here's the thread for you.

Post IC (but you don't have to write IC unless you want to) as the character in question-- or stay OOC if your question is about a group of your characters, or all of your characters. Write a question you have wished people would ask you, then let the person below you make their guess or theory as to the answer. You can edit your post later to tell them if they're right, or give the answer, or you can stay mysterious if you want to (if you don't think you're going to remember to come back and edit your post, you can just put the right answer under a spoiler cut or blackout text). Make sense?

Rules:

This will not work if you edit the ping into your comment later (like if you wanted to claim and then edit your question in); you must put it in when you first submit the comment.

I'm so torn on this. I'm going to say no, he's not.

Maybe it's the naive romantic in me, but I did WANT to believe that the lich was being genuinely helpful, kind, and caring. I don't think that's the case, though. I'm sure Ives has had moments of distrust already--awakening in Anwar's tower must have been quite the frightening event, and I'd bet that there have been times since then, even after they became close, that made Ives question it all. Just little mannerisms that don't seem quite right, little offhand comments... Little red flags that point to something bigger.

I think Anwar is definitely hiding something big, and dark, and bad. Something that happened before Ives awoke, and that's why his memories are all muddled up. Anwar wants something from him, in the end.

When Toast was first found as a child, he was feral. And when he finally made it to Midshire, he was in the same state. What made him lose his human mind and become so animalistic and wild both times?

To be honest, I would think he wasn't the one doing that, he looks so pure in his icon omg I wanna hug him skjadjasdokjaskdad-

Is Willow the true criminal for killing another Fern Walker out of self-defense?

Alexander Serj Tankian KilljoyLights

I'm gonna assume that you would say no. Willow probably had a good reason for it. However it really depends on the laws of this species and if they have rules in place that still punish self defense anyways. A lot of lore can just go into making laws.

Zander is stated to be a demon of tragedy, what exactly does that mean, and what is the difference between him and normal demons?

 Laura Rabbit KingOswald

Well, I don't know how his world works but maybe he became a demon (if that's possible in his world) by a big tragedy which makes him different from the others? Or maybe he somehow brings tragedy to everyone around him which maybe other demons don't.

Laura is said to be a total different person (toon??) of how she normally acts around people, more secretive and well not just a happy go lucky person so most people don't trust her, so my only question is

How do you think her personality actually is like and what does she do that makes people not trust her?

(btw go crazy with this, don't judge her only by her design)

 Lucasia Ragnvindr VictoryDrawsStuff

ITS TIME TO gO APESHIT WITH MY ASSUMPTION FOR QUESTION ABOVE:

I feel like beneath that cute appearance Laura Rabbit might be a sadist or at least she is prideful of her fighting prowess. If anyone dares to make her life a living hell, she won't dare to hesitate to make their life even more of a (living hell) and feels good when she does it! She may be nice and all, but she can and will kick any ass and won't truly regret doing so. She just has such a cute appearance to deceive :D!

.

If anything (anything bad) happens to Lucasia's family (maybe they get kidnapped, almost murdered, sniped, etc) , how would Lucasia react and/or what actions would she take?

(For your information Lucasia is 10000% a familial person and she is oldest out of 4 children (two adopted) so she is a big sister alright.

.

Reply: That is pretty much correct! However if she finds out that her family is not okay and immediate action needs to be taken to save them, she will go all out and shows no mercy to those who have harmed her family!

Wraith Stormheart SpiritdragonRyuu

Oooh okay, here's my theory.

Hmmm I get the feeling that she would be unusually calm about the situation, wanting to not cause any more stress to her family by being emotional herself. Once she knows that they are safe and are okay, I get the feeling that she would want to hunt down those responsible, being driven by the upset and anger towards those who tried to hurt her family.

What happened to Wraith's mother?

----------------------------------------------

Answer spoiled due to the fact it's very dark, mentions abuse and death,

You were pretty close in your guess ^.=.^

Wraith's mother almost died during childbirth, which left her very weak and bedridden for a good year or so, this made keeping Wraith alive very difficult as she couldn't produce enough milk to keep him healthy, so he was put onto solid foods a lot earlier than he should have; though his teeth grew in quicker which helped this whole process. Due to this whole situation, Wraith was never given a name, he chose his own name when he was older.

However when Wraith was 3, this is where his father started to verbally abuse him, often calling him a parasite and wanted nothing to do with him. His mother was still weak but at least was getting out of bed a few times a day which made Wraith happy though his mother didn't seem to want to have anything to do with him, it was almost like he didn't exist. Tension between his parents got worse, they argued more and broke things when they were angry which scared Wraith and caused him to hide in nearby cupboards which were his safe spot.

This continued until he was 5 and that's when the fights got worse, his mother was stronger like she had been before she had Wraith, but this seemed to make things worse as the two parents got physically violent with each other. Wraith was hiding in a cupboard when he watched as his mother screamed that she "never wanted a child" and that Wraith was a mistake and she didn't care about what happened to him. During this argument it later came out that his father had caught her cheating on him with another man, but also that his father had been cheating as well. This fight ended up with Wraith's father killing his mother and hiding her body in a small room within their apartment, this is the same room Wraith ended up locked in until he was 18.

Magic Tentacles Troops21

I was thinking the mother could have possibly died of childbirth but that seemed a bit of a long shot. So I’m going to theorise that since the man never knew his mother. She might have ditched Wraith with his father to take care of him.

I could assume that either the father was too abusive so the mother left or he was angry that the mother left him for someone better. Perhaps the two were too unstable for each other despite the love so they couldn’t properly be together.

———————————————

What do you think Magic Tentacle’ caretaker was like?

Coryn (Genshin Impact) swirltraveler

I think Magic Tentacles' caretaker was probably a very kind person, but also somewhat naive, and...a teensy bit uncreative, at least judging from the name. Maybe those last two had something to do with the tragedy that happened to them?

How do you think Coryn began to warm up to the new world he was placed into?

Yep! I've got a few headcanons about certain events, but I think it'd get to the point where Coryn would be faced with a way to get back to his world...and turns around and rejects it, because a world without Kaeya isn't a world he wants to be in by that point. :')

 Candida VictoryDrawsStuff

(Watch as I come back and go yeet my concepts)

With my knowledge of Genshin Impact, I feel like there are going to be hints that indeed Coryn is who he doesnt think he is in the Genshin Impact world of Teyvat. Also I feel like his new friends in Teyvat eventually help him to adjust to life in the world and adjust to finding out the truths! AND KAEYA YA KNOW HE PROBABLY HELPS THE mOST *whacked*-

.

Due to being such a infamous Sniper, is there ever a time Candida suffered defeat (not death, I said defeat) ? If so, how was she even defeated if she is so unstoppable?

 Juan dandy_haven

Tagging cuz it's been a few months brrrr VictoryDrawsManga

I think she would be outsmarted by an elderly person, possibly someone who knew her for her whole life and knows her weak spots & how to press them! Or maybe, an opposite, a small but smart child. Her mother instincts would not let her hurt a tiny smol cute thing, and the child would use that in their advantage.

-------

Why do you think Juan became a mentor to about 30 young men despite having no clue how to do it and who these boys are?

Roy Lane PicklePantry

HMM, maybe he sympathized with them? Maybe he saw them and was reminded of himself when he was their age, and wants to give them the guidance he wished he'd had?

By the time Roy's kids are grown up, he basically takes over as a god of darkness. If he can see everything in the shadows and has lots of power, why do you think he wasn't able to protect his oldest son from getting murdered?

I'll be quite honest I ain't know myself KEKEKEK though I do lean towards that second reason you had-- cool that you remember Khaso, too! My idea is that he couldn't do intervene to uphold balance, but boy is it rough when that includes your own family.

 Lior confusedthing

(^ That's valid xDD But yes, that must be horrible. ;v; And ofc I remember Khaso!)

I'm bad at this so I'll just throw out some wild guesses... sorry if I'm dead wrong. :D But since he is a god of darkness and tied to darkness and shadows (looking at Lan and Khaso), was Allegro maybe murdered in broad daylight (not bright sunlight, but you know, a more cloudy day, so no shadows around) or in a place with little to no shadow, thus making him too slow (/the distance too wide) even if he attempted to save him/or was he even unable to see/hear it in the first place?
(Ooor being a god of darkness comes with certain rules and because he is supposed to uphold balance (I think Khaso said that to Sol once lol) he can not change the course of the world that heavily, considering Allegro would have had a big impact on their kingdom if he had become king. Last and simplest would be... he was just caught up with something else and therefore not quick enough.)

This is probably a simple one but I'd like to hear someone's take... why does Lior not like to be called a prince?

(You're zooming! XD)

The second idea is pretty close! He still technically holds that title as in it was never taken from him, but he does somewhat feel like he does not deserve it. His views on monarchy are actually somewhat similar to his brother's so he also does not like it because it is something that separates him from other people if it gets known (negatively impacting some interactions) even though he has done nothing for this title other than being born into the "right" family. Another point is that he has experienced people treating him differently when he was traveling as just Lior, so to him it also feels like people will start interacting with a title more than a person. And lastly, somewhat rooted in childhood issues, a lot of the time people will start comparing him to his brother because they are both princes of the same kingdom/parents (although there are rumors about Lior) and that just makes him uncomfortable and fuels his insecurities.

Vivian VictoryDrawsStuff

This can go many ways but I would say it’s because Lior was a former prince that probably got his title stripped off of him due to some past event, or he knows he is a prince in present time but doesnt think he deserves that title. It can go in many different directions but that is what I think! :)

.

This is going to be a harder one because I haven’t designed her nor talk about her at all but here is some context in spoiler, nothing triggering but it’s just here to declutter :“)

Danica admits that she was influenced at a young age by her own mentor who taught her the way of laws and order to be who she is, a cursing young gremlin. This mentor is a private investigator and lawyer from Fontaine (basically genshin impact France (?) ) who is good friends with her family.

The question: What is this person like as a person and how did this affect her relationship with her family? What does Danica think of her mentor to present day? Would she even still want to be her mentors student by now?
