This one is so amazing. It looks so realistic, and the overall aesthetic is really cool. The character is super detailed, and you can honestly tell they’re a vampire.
With @orinscrivello's blessing, I'm taking on responsibility for the old thread! This is a pretty simple game where we celebrate all the wonderful art that everyone's characters have.
The last person to post in the old thread was Silital; the first person to reply should pick a picture of one of their characters!
Rules:
- Post or link your favorite picture of an OC belonging to the person who posted above you, and say what you like about it! Then let the person below you pick one for you!
- You can either post IC if you want the person below to pick a favorite picture of a particular character, or post OOC and let them pick their favorite picture of any of your characters!
- Make sure you look at the person above's characters and NOT the person's art tab, because not all of their art may be of their own characters!
- Either avoid picking pictures with content warnings, or link them with a warning rather than posting the direct image.
- Please write why you picked the picture! You don't need to write a novel, but "I like it because it's nice" doesn't tell the person much of anything! Write the sort of comment that you'd be happy to receive!
- Please ping the person above you so you make sure that they see your comment! If you're not sure how to do this, you simply type @THEIRUSERNAME, and they will be notified! This will not work if you edit the ping into your comment later (like if you wanted to claim and then edit your response in); you must put it in when you first submit the comment.
- You are NOT ALLOWED to skip anyone in this thread. If you cannot see the post above you because the poster or you have blocked each other, wait for another person to comment before replying to the thread. Feel free to bump the thread to encourage others to participate!
- Wait at least a couple of posts before going again, and try to vary the characters you post if you post IC.

I absolutely love the animation, it looks super smooth and this entire gif is just adorable - the " :D " expression on her face just radiates pure whimsy and I always love a good meme redraw! I feel like her personality shines through really brightly in this one, also the saying "wooper wednesday" is never gonna leave my head and I'm gonna think about it now whenever I see a wooper lol
i love this image of henry!!! the colors are so pretty and the cool combined with the warm is so pleasing the look at!! the shading/texture plus the lining reminds me of like... a stained glass painting vaguely?? idk its sobeautiful,.... i also really like the expression and the bold lines...

I really like this one! the colours in the tattoo are quite accurate to real life, and I like that the pose is still natural for a reference image. Not to mention the stellar anatomy and perspective.
I really like how dynamic this image is. The pose, the way you filled the canvas, even the motion of the tie... it all ties together really nicely. Plus a nice, clean, simple color scheme is always aesthetically pleasing; you really can't go wrong with black, white, and red.

I absolutely adore this picture of Atelie. The composition is so simple yet it gives off all the right vibes and the colors make it look as if it's an old drawing of a goddess! I especially love the facial expression, it's serene yet feels like your character knows something more than the one capturing her likeness
Hard to choose for this fun character!! tbh I think all of them had something interesting to say about this character, but this one takes the cake for me...
At first glance, the pink looked like a stylistic shadow, but at a closer look...
it's not gruesome, but somewhat fun?! Just like their character, a higher being who works at a gas station lol! idk the vibes just fit them very well me thinks.
also half of their face being overtaken by the goop just looks awesome I'm not taking arguments

THIS ONE IS ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC, U DID AN AMAZING JOB OMG OMG. The pose, the rendering, the fire, it all is just chef kiss . Especially, I love the colors, they're bright, but not too much to hurt eye (for me at least)

I gotta go with this one! I find the lighting in this piece to be really interesting. I love how colourful it is, and how Hikaru stands out from the bright red background. I appreciate the details in the wine glass and his eyes, it's nice to look at!

this one has got to be one of my favorites! i know its not colored but i really love drawings like these. u get to see how these characters live their lives or i guess do in their free time.. you can even get a glimpse of their personalities as well. in the background you can see some details too, like the amogus..the skates, frye being done, and i guess you can tell whos possibly gonna have a breakdown in the next turn of uno. its really cool. the linework is pretty neat too, you can still tell whats happening easily even from a far and with the minimal shading helps set the atmosphere of the drawing. :] pretty chill i must say

First of all, your art is so damn good?! Your stylisation is on point and i loove the shading n colors of ur works omg
I love this art of Rover. The colors are so beautiful, the hues and values are so neatly placed that it doesnt feel too much but still colorful and warm. The hatching on the sky vs the hard edges of the river strokes is so so good. Also love the expression both of them has especially w rover's tentacle holding the fishes. You conveyed such a clear interaction and personalities through it. I think i'd love 2 commission u in the near future!
Swissy Gaia has so much solid, wonderfully done artwork, which makes it kinda hard to choice but I would go with this particular drawing of them!
I love everything about this; the rendering, the background, the perspective, the character poses, the contrast the colors and so on! It paints such a gorgeous scene of Gaia and Wulan, whilst conveying their personalities; Gaia is leading the shy Wulan. Such a vividly detailed and excellently drawn scene, would buy a print of it if it exists and I have money. I'll go check out the artist's work in the meantime :D
