What would above user's artstyle taste like?

Posted 5 years, 1 month ago (Edited 5 months, 2 days ago) by Kogami

There's been a certain meme going around as in "If my art was edible, what would it taste like?", so the game should be self-explanatory enough: Look into the above user's art and imagine what would it taste like if its a food! Make sure to link a site that have the best examples of your works (as in your dA or Instagram, etc) or otherwise the next user will judge based on your "Art" tab.

Rules: (Because, ISTG, yall)

  • PLEASE try to expand MORE than just a really simple, low-effort one liner.
DON'T just leave something like "Tastes like candy." "Mac and cheese I guess." and that's it. Without /any/ explanations or description. That's BORING.
Why would it taste like that? Maybe the coloring or the overall technique or composition just made the user's artstyle look savory or bitter, or maybe it reminds you of a specific texture from an existing food? Let's all be creative!!
  • This should be common sense, but don't be rude or criticize someone's art, as this is not a critique game. If I caught anyone doing this, even if passive-aggressively, you'll get yourself banned from this game. My best advice is don't claim the person if you have nothing nice to say about their art.
  • You may post again after 3 posts.

fascinating idea :v

The smooth but pointy shapes you use make me feel like something crunchy and brittle that would shatter when you bit it, like hard candy. The texture is the main thing that's coming across to me? Wanna cronch it. It tastes mainly sweet but also a bit sour with a tiny bit of fruitiness (strawberry & lemon specifically for some reason??) and might be a little bit fizzy as well (something about the way you do bg/s makes me think fizzy!)

edit:: your style is so cute, it reminds me of little cookies!!! like gingerbread men - the shapes of your people make me think ur art would be a nice soft-but-firm sugar cookie with extra icing!

TenMomentsTill

You use a lot of bright colours and white highlights so it would defintely taste sweet. Something about it strikes me that it would be a hard candy. It would probably be akin to those huge suckers that come in a variety of flavours.

GLITCH-DXCTOR

I'm definitely going to say your style tastes a lot like filet mignon! The colors you tend to use are generally on the darker side, but overall, your works give off a vibe of elegance and maturity--that might be a lot of the lighting you use as well.

AlleycatIrony

weltschmerz-drachen ur bright coloured art especially makes me think of skittles! ur more natural coloured stuff makes me think of biscuits, like gingernuts or shortbread :0 ur style is v sweet and fun overall i think due to it's cartoony nature!

MiniatureCat (I'll claim you in a sec, but I don't recommend using "lack of <insert thing>" as a response since it's not really a form of compliment and more close to a critism. You might wanna fix your wording ^^)

Edit: Well, since you ignored me, that's your first warning, okay? :)

For @AlleycatIrony: Strangely enough, I thought of those oatmeal cookies. Maybe because you often use more eartly colors on your art? Also because of the crisp lineart made me think of something that's hard to crunch, and more savoury in flavor.

For @MiniatureCat: Your art reminds me of cotton candies because of how fluffy your art is? While the darker colored ones can be some really soft and easily melted chocolates. It's just those sweet and small candies and chocolates.
