4/8: New PSA posted and additional information on Squidribs added to relevant PSA.
It was suggested that there should perhaps be a general thread for PSAs which is a fine idea. A place that links to other PSAs and keep things organized.
You can link your threads/PSAs/etc, and I'll add them to the posts. :D
Please Note: I can only accept public PSAs. Anon PSAs are too much of a risk to accept, as they can be open to slander.
Things That Count for PSAs!
-Scams
-Illegally chargebacked (you did a commission, but person claims you never did, for instance)
-Being shifty on doing owed things (taking months on an icon for example, lack of contact or updates, etc)
-Tracing and profiting off of it...
-Etc...
Things That Don't Count!
-Someone has better art than you
-Rude behavior
-Subjective issues
-Dog ate your homework
Obviously, this is just the basic frame work. Each case is different. For instance, someone could go around harassing artists for art and customs, or for people to give up their adopts and whatnot, and that could almost certainly be considered for a PSA...
Of course, it would be great if no more PSAs occur, but in the case they do, I support people posting them because they keep the community safe and will link to them in this general thread. owo/

Does anyone know if there's a situation or something with the artist cupidz ...?
I commissioned them August 8th and paid upfront, they told me they'd have a wip within the next few days for me. On September 18th, I reached out just to touch base, but my message is still unopened. I reached out one more time on IG on October 12th, but I haven't received any response. They had posted personal art on Sept 17th and I do see someone uploaded art they received from the artist on Oct 2nd, so I'm really not sure if they are having IRL issues that I was never informed of or if something else is going on? ;; I did reach out to the person who received art from the 2nd, but no reply yet.
I'll admit I'm a little nervous because 3 people I've commissioned have recently been outed as scammers/potential scammers.
D0UGHY cupidz was also active on twitter as recently as the 9th so I'm unsure of whether this artist is just ignoring/ghosting you and would keep a close eye on this should you end up needing to file a charge back :[ sorry you're having to deal with a clear lack of communication
A policy update and warning has been posted on Refsheet.net (Discord too) about fugitives that were using their platform to evade a ban elsewhere for illicit activities. Some folks here might want to do a skim of the latest uploads to report any edited or stolen works.
