PaperTsubaki I'd like to know as well. I commission art often and ive already dealt with my fair share of similar artists. Don't want to go down that road orz

4/8: New PSA posted and additional information on Squidribs added to relevant PSA.
It was suggested that there should perhaps be a general thread for PSAs which is a fine idea. A place that links to other PSAs and keep things organized.
You can link your threads/PSAs/etc, and I'll add them to the posts. :D
Please Note: I can only accept public PSAs. Anon PSAs are too much of a risk to accept, as they can be open to slander.
Things That Count for PSAs!
-Scams
-Illegally chargebacked (you did a commission, but person claims you never did, for instance)
-Being shifty on doing owed things (taking months on an icon for example, lack of contact or updates, etc)
-Tracing and profiting off of it...
-Etc...
Things That Don't Count!
-Someone has better art than you
-Rude behavior
-Subjective issues
-Dog ate your homework
Obviously, this is just the basic frame work. Each case is different. For instance, someone could go around harassing artists for art and customs, or for people to give up their adopts and whatnot, and that could almost certainly be considered for a PSA...
Of course, it would be great if no more PSAs occur, but in the case they do, I support people posting them because they keep the community safe and will link to them in this general thread. owo/

PaperTsubaki oh man... uhh tbh i find it weird that they told you their Photoshop isn’t working but from the WIPs they are using PaintToolSai.. So I find it strange that they said that..
x.x yeah it sounds pretty.. “sketchy” to me (I don’t mean the pun! But lack of better wording ;n;) Idk I’m weary of users who are 1 year or “younger” in deviantart and seeing how they are pretty much “lying” to you.. I mean maybe it’s a mistake and they keep calling photoshop when they mean PaintToolSai, but I’d probably correct them? But it does sound a bit like excuses to be honest.
(Oh no! I didn’t mean they are faking the screenshots! I meant like they are probably confused about the program they are using?) And tbh I’m probably not the best to answer x.x since I’m a major push over ;n; I was just pointing out that the programs didn’t match to what they were saying x.x cause they should be able to show you wip if their paint tool is working
Sounds simple and straight to the point c: that should get things cleared up and oof. Since September x.x yeah I would have asked for a WIP by now. (Unless the artist mentions ahead of time about wips and such)
Oh yeah no I totally understand that it does happen! :o (happens to me a lot x.x) but just going based off how PaperTsubaki said that there are about 50 (more or less) people ahead of her x.x to me it kinda sounds like an excuse.. i mean, it might just be me and I am in no way trying to bash or anything! ;u; I’m just weary of newer accounts x.x especially with a queue that big... (ahh ok I might not reply to this anymore because now I feel like I’m just rambling and not really being helpful ;u; sorry!)
