antisocial_ai I really was not victimizing myself. I understand that what I was doing wasn’t right now and I’ve corrected it on all fronts. That’s all that I came here to say. None of what I said was to excuse my actions, only explain some of the underlying circumstance. To say that I haven’t taken accountability, despite knowing that I’ve removed all Ai influenced artworks and have refunded several people, is a little unnecessary. There’s a lot of animosity in your reply but I have no animosity towards you and certainly was not trying to start drama by responding to this. I mentioned my autism only because it affected my ability to understand that what I was doing wasn’t correct at first, but I’ve spoken with people on the topic and have changed my thinking and my approach accordingly. I don’t have an issue with staying on this list because I know that I made those mistakes, but I didn’t want people to see this and not understand the full circumstance, which is that I am NOT using Ai anymore and haven’t in months. Of course I replied publicly to a bulletin that is publicly posted with my name on it, I think that was the most honest approach I could have taken. You added “pity party apology” next to my name? I don’t know what I’ve done to wrong you so terribly but I’m sorry nonetheless. I’m not going to comment or reply any further on this for my own mental health but know that I appreciate the sentiment of what you’re trying to do here and I wish you the very best.

I quite literally said “That isn’t an excuse of course but I’ve talked with a lot of people who have helped me understand everything a lot better.” I really mean no harm to you or anybody else involved with the creation of this list. No drama. I just wanted to make sure people who saw it understood that I’m not using Ai anymore. All of my artworks in my Deviantart gallery are 100% my own art and you can see speedpaints of them in the descriptions. 

antisocial_ai Again I was not trying to use it as an excuse. There’s an apology in my journal that was linked as well. I had multiple influences telling me that it was alright before I started and I thought that my use of Ai was ethical, but I understand now that it was not. The naivety I mentioned was in regard to those influences, I really let them affect my perspective of things and I’m grateful to the people who have talked with me and explained it so that I can come to a better conclusion and see what I was doing for what it is. I’ve made changes to correct things and will continue to do so. I fully support this list and why it exists. I do hope that you have a lovely day.

I haven't seen the previous thread, and I'm not sure who either of you are, but I thought their response was perfectly acceptable. To me, you are coming off harsh & actually pretty mean, dude. We learn and change. I would interpret it as, 'I didn't see how it was wrong, but someone helped me see how it was wrong.' That's similar to research.

your thread says “because they’re  scamming people out of their hard earned money” how exactly is me having personal characters that i generated the appearance of because i don’t have a reference drawn for them yet with an ai scamming people? check my art tab, all of that art is mine and the art that i sell with my commissions. (if you think that THIS is ai art literally go outside) i have never used ai in any form for a commission and never will
btw, available in the proof 2 img attached, every single piece of ai art are properly tagged as ai art. if i missed one lmk but this is clown shoes behavior (also shows months… literally haven’t ai’d in months…)

also apparently a red flag is that my prices are low for commissions, i did this because i have only ever been commissioned twice, so i wanted to incentivize more people to buy… your thread is just illogical lol. you can make an ai art masterlist if you’d like, just this bs is annoying

Even if you were using it for personal use, it is still a bad thing to use. The fact that you came in here guns blazing in victimizing yourself makes me want to keep your name in the list. The prices thing wasn't even about you in particular but you made it that way. I have added to the post explaining why using ai for personal use is bad, too. No one said you're a horrible shit person but you. Maybe get off the internet and talk to someone about your self esteem because it really seems you need to. I'm not trying to insult you with that if it reads that way, I'm being completely serious. If you add all this self-hating shit to your post it's like... really concerning, and that's coming from someone who has dealt with that shit themselves. All the best to you.

ayuyu | using ai to create a character literally using stolen assets from other artist is the problem here. Regardless for personal use it doesn't matter it still uses resources from other people without their consent.
