Stellar Tomorrow

Unfortunately for both Ezzy and Vale's pride, it wasn't a dream. This sent Exxy into a panic, because she accidentally ended up getting herself, her sister, and their friend teleported to some strange place.

Vale could have cared less. This meant no school, right? He was tempted to take a nap, but Ezzy surely would yell at him.

As he gazed around the place they had landed, he noticed other kids around the same age. The devices suddenly began to talk again, and seeing as the other kids picked up their devices to listen, he realized they were also here for the same reason.

This time, there was a picture of a white-haired man with golden eyes on the screen.

"Welcome to Tuphere, friends!" It was apparent he was the source of the voice from before. "My name is Elwin, the leader of the Amphites. Come now, to the Dreampetal Retreat!"

Ezzy grabbed both Vale and Alicia as all the other kids filed into the strange temple in front of them. There, they saw the man wih a couple of kids about the same age as them, and one even younger.

"You all must be so confused, and I apologize for not telling you as soon as I dropped the amphones, but it is easier to experience in person." Elwin began. "You have all been selected as amphites! You have the most potential to help fight against the Nether Brigade, the people and the monsters that are trying to destroy all the dimensions, including your own." The male continued on, as a sob came from a girl who stood in the back, alone. She had icy blue hair in a braid down her shoulder.

Despite the interruption, Elwin's story pressed onward. "The Gods and Goddess of Tuphere, each holding an element, have been holding them of for a while, and they need your help. Right now, you'll be assessed to see which element you have. Afterwards, you'll be sent to the academy of your respective element where you will learn more about being an amphite."

One of the kids next to Elwin began to speak. 'Hey everyone! My name is Rowan! I've prepared all the roses for you here! You'll be given a rose, and you'll prick your finger! The rose will react with your blood, and then we can see what your element is! Let's see, the first one of the list is Alicia Scarlet Abernathy. Alicia Scarlet, are you here?"

Alicia Scarlet made her way up to the front. "Just Alicia is fine!" She smiled at the crowd and then turned in the direction of Elwin

Rowan and Elwin walked towards her. Ezzy and Vale watched intently, as Ezzy knew she would most likely be next.
Alicia yelped a little when Rowan put on gloves to handle the rose. "I already know what element I am, and I can't be pricking my finger on the roses, ya see!" He explained as he handed her the rose.

The redhead closed her eyes and grabbed the rose. A small prick of her finger to make blood come out made her jump a bit, but it didn't seem to hurt her that much. Then, suddenly, the rose turned to ash.

Alicia gasped as Elwin put a hand on her shoulder. "Alicia Scarlet is a fire element!"

Ezzy cheered for her sister, and Vale flashed her a thumbs up. Alicia was sent off to another room, which had a sign labelled 'Fire' above it.

"Esmerelda Abernathy! You must be here, since your sister was!" Rowan grinned, picking up the next rose.

"Ezzy." Was all she said, snatching the rose from Rowan's hand. She didn't flinch and watched as her rose turned yellow and began to emit electricity.

"Ezzy is an electricity element! Congratulations." And like Alicia, Ezzy was sent to another room labelled with her element.

There were four people before Vale. Aryan Aguilar who was a water element, Akatsu Acosta who was an earth element, Reece Ball, a light element, and Blaise Beckers, who was a fire element.

"Vale Cris.... Cristalle?" Rowan had a hard time pronouncing his name. Vale was tempted to ignore him, but Ezzy and Alicia had done it. So he walked closer to the two and took the rose.

With instants, the rose was white, and it began to freeze over. Vale blinked at it.

"Nice, Ice. Vale is an ice element!" Elwin exclaimed.

After being ushered to the room labelled 'Ice', Vale found that he could view the rest of the testings with a TV in the room. He put his feet onto another chair and began to watch the next person.

"Ciaran." Elwin called, not even adding the last name."We already know what you must be. You are the God of Darkness's son, after all."

The boy walked forward, hands in his hoodie pockets. He had black hair and deep red eyes. "I'll take the test. After all, if everyone else has to, why shouldn't I?" Even though he said that, Ciaran turned towards the room labelled 'Darkness' when he picked up the rose. The rose turned black and strange mist came from it. He dropped he rose and walked towards the room and Elwin didn't say a word.

Vale spaced out a bit. The air rose turned purple, floated in the air, but whoever had picked it didn't say a word, so Vale didn't remember them.

"Blaise! I'm an Earth type, see?" a girl named Rosanna Kuroko waved as her rose extended roots down her arm, nearly enveloping her body.

Elwin was shocked as the girl was slowly taken up by the roots. "A strong Earth type, indeed."

The light rose glowed gold, the water rose turned blue and made a little fountain. All these people who said nothing that Vale didn't care enough to remember.

Three others joined him in the ice room. They were Maya Peralta, Leonis Summers, which Vale found absolutely hilarious, and Everett Wilson.

The last person that Vale payed attention to was the sobbing girl. There were very few people now, and he heard that her name was Serrina Winchilles.

Serrina sobbed as she picked up the rose and it froze over, and she practically ran into the ice room with hot tears running down her face. Perhaps she was so upset because nearly everyone else had come here and found someone they knew, but she had nobody. Or maybe she was just terrified.

As the final people finished, Elwin announced that some people would come to transport them to the academies.

"Hi, ice elementals." One of the girls from Elwin's gang, the one who stood next to Rowan, walked in. "My name is Illiya. I'm a idol and songwriter here in Tuphere. Come with me. The ice academy is a bit cold, so be sure to keep warm. Though you probably won't have trouble with it. I should know, since I'm an ice elemental myself!" Illiya winked and motioned for them to follow her.
