The Radio Tower

The Radio Tower is "Kenneth's Machine".  It's less of a machine (something that is made of many moving parts), and more of a radio/broadcasting/lightning conducting station all in one.  From his metal tower, the DJ, only accompanied by his assistant, Gerad.  At most times, Kenneth is using the radio function of his tower to broadcast his personal choice of music across all radio frequencies.  And as such, his music is the only thing occupying any radio station/frequency.  And at any random point of the day, mostly mornings, he will begin to broadcast his music over giant speakers in the City.  Which would be annoying but ultimately harmless if the music was good.  But it's not good.  It's bad.  And it's not even music.  It's sound.  And horrible sounds.  A absolute dissonant cacophany of grotesque, painful, avant-garde sounds that rends any sane person to lose their humanity after long exposure.

Kenneth knows none of this.  He sits and operates his machine with the complete ignorance that his device is causing any harm.  For the musically adept main four, this is an audio nightmare from which they cannot escape.

Either the City is silent and devoid of sound or it is excruciatingly loud and filled with dissonance.
