A Strange Visitor

A blue streak across the sky...a crater, in the middle of your pride's valley. It's almost as if these strange glowing stones have appeared to each pride, a visitor to each with some intent in mind. Nefarious? Giving? Curious? No one knows, and no one knows that there is more to it yet.
The breeze swept up by its crashing is deafening, followed by an eerie silence after its landing. As if the entire world is acutely aware of something foreign, something strange, something alien- in its midst. The insects are silent, and the world waits with bated breath for someone brave enough to approach.
The stone shimmers with an otherworldly sheen, its surface crackling and buzzing with blue light that feels itself almost a living creature. The stone itself is light, with dark edges- burnt by its entry into the atmosphere. Small shards of similar stone lay littered around the area of its landing, broken off during its descent or by the force of its strike against the dirt.
How does your pride respond to the strange happening? Who sees the streak, who goes after it? is it a concentrated pride effort to investigate? Are there skeptics convinced that it means nothing at all? Where, in your prides territory has it impacted? Did it cause any damage on the way down?

A new star appeared on the sky tonight. It glowed blue like no other. It grew bigger with each hour to finally fall across the sky and impact the ground below. It made the lights of Kingscardine go out for a few minutes, leaving the moon as the only source of brightness.

Auris was the only one to see it, but every creature felt it deep in their bones. New. Unknown. Strange.

The blue lion vowed to protect this land. Despite fear, paw in paw with Shadow they left their home to investigate whether the object was a threat and to stop it before it could do any harm.
