Harvest Chicken Skillet
The sound of her name woke Jamie Blu from her daydreams.
“Hey, Jamie, don’t burn those Brussels sprouts!”
It was Nelson. He was wearing his dreadlocks up and a white apron, carrying a plate of seasoned soups that she could easily smell.
“Right, sorry. Just fell out of my mind again, you know how it is.” She chuckled. He nodded and left the kitchen, ready to deliver the soups. She sighed and rubbed her hands together. In front of her was sizzling asparagus, almost ready to be plated.
