I. Character Creation
Iota is an anthro based universe and as such; has rules that will be applied when it comes to character creation and hoping into the world & its discord! :D
I.I. Characters Must be Anthro
As stated above; this world focuses on Anthropomorphized characters, or for simple terms; Furries!
So pretty much; as long as you have a charc whos resembling an animal or what have you of the animal kingdom; standing on two legs and wearing clothing; you are a-okay!
I.II. Characters Must be 18 and Over
This world has slightly different rules than that of our modern day; while a LOT lines up in say technology and most general living standards; it is uncommon to see anyone younger than 17 entering that of the Academies! This being due to how their education is extended a few years past the age of 10 to account for magic.
Most public high schools are just high schools; but a lot of the prestigious and rich schools; like the two this Au is centered around; Are Hybrid Schools! Meaning they run 6 years instead of the 4 a high school would; the last two centering around College General Education!
So yes; characters must be 17+ to join!
I.III. Characters May NOT be Overpowered, God-mod or Anything of the Sort
General rules as you see in all rp-world esc settings!
God-modding is defined as taking control of another player's character during roleplay. [This is okay within limits]
Obviously, Being Op is always frowned upon in these types of settings, please note the general world information.
I.IX. Characters Don't Have any Design Restriction with Colors/Species etc!
There is not restrictions on what species; design aspects or colors you can put on your said characters! This allows for creative freedom but do also bare in mind that your character should not be overpowered or the child of some deity. It is HEAVILY recommended that you read that of the Magic tab & General World Information tab
I.X. Submitting Characters to the Group
Obviously; you must be apart of the group to actually; submit a character! But fret not, we will just let folks join!
When you do submit a character; please state WHAT FOLDER the character is to be placed into within the world, OTHERWISE they will be rejected
I.XI. There is no limits on adding characters!
This is an open world; you are free to have as many characters as you would like within!
As LONG as you are following the rules for submitting them to the toyhouse world; you are a-okay!!
Do ask about anything you are unsure of when it comes to charc creation!
II. Roleplay Etiquette
While this group is not entirely roleplay based at its core; being more of a world you can throw characters into and discuss headcannons; it is one that you can roleplay within and that of course; comes with expected etiquette.
II.I. Characters may not be Overpowered or Godmod

II.II. Characters may not engage in any sexual themes if 18 and under
Please please please for the love of whatever gods are out there, do NOT put ANY of your 17 year old characters in a position where this happens at ALL.
Be it in dms or that of public. It is NOT acceptable and will result in a kick and ban from the server.
Even if the character is 'close to their 18th bday', they are still a MINOR and is not going to be taken lightly; 17 year old characters are the YOUNGEST they can be in this setting for a reason; If you want to do any sexual themes; please make an older character.
As well as;
II.III. Users under the age of 18 may NOT participate in ANY sexual themes either
As mentioned below; we will be allowing folks 16+ to join this group.
For the love of god know better than to interact with a minor in these settings even if they are playing a character older than they are. use your brain.
This will result in a hard ban for the adult and a discussion will be held for what will happen for the minor.
The same goes for two minors; yall are still kids please do not discuss or put your characters in those situations; as 'cool' or 'neat' it may be.
Just please don't, it can result in a kick for both minor parties
II.IX. Sexual Themes are Not Allowed in Public
While there will be adult spaces within the server for those 18+, there is to be NO suggestive or sexually themed art, writing or rp outside of this section.
This group will be open to folks above the age of 16+, so please bare in mind we WILL have a standard method of checking for proof of age if you wish to gain access to the adult spaces in the server.
II.X. Rules regarding Dark Theme Mention
Dark themes are usually neat to bring into setting to add a little bit of spice! The following pertains SPECIFICALLY to that of Rping within the two Schools; Sinclair Academy & Windsoar-Colton Academy! These rules shift with the other areas of the world; Please ask a mod if you are unsureThemes you MAY include in passing conversation/mention:

Please note; This is specifically for roleplaying, these topics may be mentioned and explored in the proper areas in the discord server for headcannons, character bios and the like. We do NOT condone the dark themes used.II.XI. Please discuss with your roleplay partner beforehand
General curtsy; if you want an rp to go a certain direction; talk it out beforehand with whomever you are deciding to rp with!
If you are not happy with how an rp is going; let the other know and maybe take a step back or start over!
Communication is key, be kind and courteous to whoever ye be rping with !
II.XII. Please try to match your roleplay partner in style when you start one up
Another general curtsy thing; if you have a specific style of rp, please let your partner know beforehand what your expectations are!
Everyone has different styles of roleplay! Be it more simplistic, semi-literate or literate!
Using or trying to use the same style often lets the rp flow more smoothly!
III. Group Rules & Etiquette
These are some general rules for the discord server; world and elsewhere! Please keep these in mind when doing things !
III.I. Please be mindful of the Mod & Founder
Both Jestea and I have lives outside of this little Universe.
Please be patient with the lot of us when it comes to adding characters into the world and folders & in general around the server!
III.II. Please do not Minimod. You may remind people of rules & channels though
In general, you may not take action yourself when you see someone breaking a rule or throwing a fuss!
But you can nudge them gently and remind them of the rules and ping one of the active or online Mods
The same goes for if you see someone posting in the wrong channel; you can direct them!
You also have perms to answer frequently asked questions!
III.III. Keep all 18+ in the correct channels
General thing of; We will be allowing folks 16+ in the server, for the love of god keep all of that content in the correct adult channels!
You will be banned & blacklisted from probably both mods if you are caught sending any sort of 18+ content to a minor.
Be mindful, post in the right spots.
III.IX. We do not tolerate bigotry of any kind
In or outside of server, if you are found being homophobic, transphobic, racist, ablest, or anything of the sort, you will be removed.
Discussing political topics or world news is also not permitted in the server.
You will be promptly removed from the server & world without hesitation; banned as well from server.
III.X. If you are having any issues with a user, contact a mod
We will handle any issue you have!
Be it someone is constantly making themselves a focal point of an rp or always hogging an rp room; or someone is always over posting someone else in the server! Let us know and we will talk to them; muting can happen if they are talked to and nothing changed
III.X. Use the Art/Writing Channel that is the most inactive!
If you are looking for somewhere to post; use the channel with the oldest timestamp on the art & writing!
