Dolus Ante
Dolus Ante is known as the Capital City for the continent of Aphmer. It is a sister city to Vin Cerina of Valdoir, the continent across the sea from it. This is a city that is built on foundations of risks, gambling and high stakes for high reward. It is a city to let loose and have fun blowing all your money but also a city that has sinister undertones throughout its streets.
The Heart of Dolus Ante
These are some of the more well known areas of the city. From how you get into the city, their national and federal buildings to some of the more top & secure places.
Dolus Ante's International Airport & Docks
D.A International Airport & Its docks are the first thing everyone will see when they come into the continent of Aphmer! This is where customs and general national security will make sure you aren't trying to smuggle anything in or out! Its a highly maintained, surveillanced and generally protected area! The Airport is QUITE expansive and has some of the most heavy-duty planes to deal with any flying magic fauna they may encounter while flying over The Wilds in order to get to other regions of the world!
The Docks are pretty similar! if a boat is coming or going from this city, they have to go through the same clearances before they will be allowed to leave and go on sailing. It is a requirement that all ships that are to cross the Wilds are to have multiple military-grade weaponry abord to protect themselves.
Dolus Ante's Museum of National History & Art
This museum is a national treasure at this point within Ampher. It contains a lot of the fragments of the fractured history they had with Valdoir, before the time in which the magical catastrophes split the single continent into two and formed a massive ocean. This museum is rather expansive, having a large floor plan and three floors to its footprint. The western wing of the museum is dedicated to world history, wilds history, local history and how the government came to be! While the eastern wing of the museum focuses on cultures, past and present, local and famous artists and sculptures! All in all it is an amazing place to mark on your list of things to see and do within this city!
The Prime Minister's Estate
Locked behind enchanted golden gates is the estate of the Prime Minister of Aphmer. They are a heavily guarded individuals, even having sniper towers on the gate perimeter. There's many areas of surveillance & security patrols quite frequently. The Prime Minister is not seen very frequently but is quite adored by its state.
The Building itself is a massive estate, having rooms for government meetings amongst the personal quarters for the Minister and her family. Frequently there is a banquet for the upper crust during the Christmas season & the center square of the front gardens has a massive tree imported in which staff from the estate will spend time decorating as to light it all up on live television on December 24th. There is also a yearly light show for New Years & Fireworks for their independence day.
D.A.Police Department & SCU
The Dolus Ante police Department for its most part is actually pretty decent. The crime rates within the city are actually not very high! Rather its the criminal who uses legal loopholes that they can not pin down that is causing a lot of the issues within the city they can not control. With the blackmailing threats going on with the Chief of the department along with the other members of the force, its been difficult to get any dirt on the guy, especially since he is incredibly careful and calculated. The Special Cases unit is frequently trying to find ways to break the contracts that are putting women and men in danger on the casino cruiser.
When it comes to the city proper, this police force is respectful & good, doing their jobs properly - When it comes to the dark underbelly of the city, the police are no better than blind mice chasing cheese that doesn't exist.
Dolus Ante's FBI Branch
The FBI branch within the city take care of a lot of the surveillance and investigations of the criminal enterprises and any other suspicious activity going on within the city. No you do not have a personal FBI agent watching everything you do online or watching you through the camera of your phone/laptop. This is actually the branch that is funding detectives within the city to look into the Blueblood corp, to find anything fishy or any slip up in which they can pin on the ringleader, to try and reposes some of their materials or even arrest the leader and put the end to the corp and its extensive groups.
Dolus Ante Federal Courthouse
This is where a LOT of serious cases get taken if they are too big for the courthouses in the other districts of the city, or even within Sinclair or Colton. This courthouse has HEAVY enchantments that prevent spell and enchantment nullifiers, it has a very strong truth spell on its book of laws that everyone who takes the stand has to swear upon.
This courthouse is famously known for a lot of the trials that lead to laws being put into place for magic regulation along with general regulations for voting, legislation and so forth. This is also known as the birthplace of the city-states that control the continent of Aphmer.
Dolus Ante High Security Prison
This is a High security prison on the outskirts of the city. its right off the coastline, built into the mountains so escape is as hard as physically possible for anyone unfortunate enough to be sent to this prison.
The main goal of this place is to reform criminals and drop reoffending rates. However most of the folks here are here for life. There's a library, a yard where they can play volleyball and such, they can swim to a point out in the sea [Mostly for their own safety, if they go too far they can and will be eaten by a wilds monster] They can have visitation & can make calls or sed out letters. They can volunteer to work in different areas of the prison and are offered therapy and schooling as well to help them reform.
In general this prison is heavily guarded, patrolled and has wilds beasts patrolling the grounds that the guards are strong enough to control with enchantments. There's a lot of sniper towers and CV cameras that watch every inch of this place. You probably can't even shit in peace if you are in this prison.
City Proper
Many of the tourist-y locals! Along with the homes & school for the Middle to High-middle class folks! This is the place where your most average day to day lives occur!
City Square
The City square is quite literally a giant square. It has 4 corners and a center thats a natural magical hotspot. its a very passive one but people still come to the center of the city to be able to get its effects for the day! See the square itself is made up of limestone walls that have beautifully decorated, crystal lined fountains. The absolute center of the square is a giant, crystal fountain that sparkles and gives off a rainbow sheen in the sunlight.
If you are within the rays of the sheen when it scatters across the four corners, you will momentarily get to experience a wash of calm as you pick up a scent that reminds you of what you consider home. The light having blessed you for the duration of that day.
People will try to come at the or wait for hours where the light will bounce off the crystal in a way it'll cover the most amount of people with the rainbow light. The hotspot is known to distribute faint blessings of luck and safety amongst those who are touched by its shining light. With how crowded this area gets, its unlikely people will get to experience the hotspot more than a handful of times in their life.
Wicker Street & Church
Wicker is a step above that of Crestfall in ranks of annual income. Its another incredibly safe area to live, where children are encouraged to play outside until the sun goes down and the streetlights come on. But it is also a highly religious area, being right next to that of the St. Cristell Academy & University. Many of the kids who grow up here, often interact with kids from Crestfall & go to the same church.
The primary religion within this area is Atheyrism. So The 'Holy One' is that in which they pray to and all that fun religious bullshittery that comes with it. There's often alters within the homes that believe [Though new neighbors are often pressured into it by the overly friendly HOA] The church within itself is located at the very back end of the Wicker area and is pretty massive to account for the mass amounts of folks who attend its services.
Crestfall Townhomes
Welcome to Crestfall! This is a clean and pretty safe neighborhood within the outskirts of the city! You'll usually find kids playing out on the streets during the day and even into the night up until the time the streetlights turn on! All, if not most, of the homes in this area have that of garages and some sort of a big-ish backyard! It's a really cozy place to grow up.
This area is decently close to that of the resident school in the area, which [unfortunately] is a private catholic school! This is where a lot of these kids go, but if they can't afford the schooling then they will have to make the commute over to Holden Academy, which is the public school a good, few blocks away from this side of town! This part of town is also pretty connected to that of the shopping 'district' for a lack of better words for it!
St. Cristell Academy
Saint Cristell Academy is a private catholic school, or well whatever the exact equivalent to catholic Iota has that is. This is a school known for its decent education but much more so for its very strict, and quite frankly; ridiculous rules that it has! For better or worse, this school also does NOT teach any sort of magic education, as part of their whole religion is magic being a gift and it comes naturally to folks to be able to use.
This can severely stunt the growth of folks who wish to go into specific fields that require more advanced magic, such as the medical field! The state has tried to fight the school on this, but has lost due to protection of religious nonsense
Many who have attended this school wind up with religious trauma in one way or another, there's very few people who come out of this academy totally okay with no issues, unless they have been more or less taking everything in and actually believe within the material being taught within
St. Cristell University
This University is an extension of the Academy it resides near to. They follow the same teachings and sort of school set up as the other, with a main focus on tracks that would result in more church work! Though they do have extensive options for what tracks you can take as this is a 2 year to a Masters level of college. They are very picky on who they hire and who they let into the University. Its well known that its difficult to get into the uni unless you have previously been a student of the academy and got on scholarship or such, or if your family works for the university or the local church located in Wicker.
It's not a really big campus, it has 2 or 3 main buildings including that of a chapel! All in all, if you can get past the whole, religion being shoved down your throat, it is a pretty acclaimed university and looks good on a resume.
Crystal Pier
The Crystal Pier has a very dense tourist population that comes throughout the different seasons! Because of this the pier has many restaurants, shops and hotels that line the coast of its beach!
It's called the Crystal pier due to how crystal clear the water is here. You can watch as the fish and sealife go about their time, and also see the bottom of the waters here. Its beyond relaxing and entire cool to experience!
At about a couple feet into the water, where it starts to get deeper, the sands go from a cream color to pure white, speckled with gemstones and other beautiful trinkets. A few people will dive down far enough to snatch one of these up as a souvenir! Its purely a gimmick to draw in the excitement of children and adults alike!
Splish Aquarium
The Splish Aquarium is a bit further into the city but does eventually connect up to that of the crystal clear waters of the ocean. This aquarium has multiple underwater tunnels you can walk through to see sharks, fish, manta rays, seals and a ton of other creatures! The aquarium has shows where they have trained magical fauna & sea lions that will perform shows for treats! They are all named and dearly beloved by that of the locals of Dolus Ante!
The gift shop in this aquarium has a bunch of 'Laurence the Sea Lion' Merch! As he is the mascot of the entire attraction! You can find a bunch of fun candies, shells, shirts, plushies and more of the attractions cast of magical fauna and sealions that do the shows! As well as their highly intelligent octopus that has a whole enclosure to himself to entertain guests as he sees fit.
Coral Reef Adventures
This is a diving experience that is hosted off the Crystal pier! Taking the 'Coral Explore' Ships out onto the deeper ocean waters, you'll be fitted with a wetsuit, flippers and other diving gear. Along with an instructor, you and your party will get to go into the warm waters, with magic-proof disposable cameras that can take snapshots of the ocean floor. You get to swim among the fish and Sea life out there while getting to see the gorgeous coral forest that covers the great chasm that shows the semeration of the two continents!
For a bit of extra money, you can even spend a night in one of the 4 bubble shaped underwater hotels! They are cozy spherical buildings that are reinforced with magic & water repelling enchantments, there's two large beds & a place for you to cook that is stocked with canned goods! Or you can contact your diver instructor to order & bring you food. Though this entire experience is often a good couple hundred dollars without the overnight stay in the coral forest.
Crystalline Apartments
The Crystalline apartments are rather tall glass apartment buildings built over the clear waters of the Crystal pier! One of the hot attractions within that of Dolus Ante. These apartments can be QUITE pricey but they give you an ocean view no matter where you are! As 3 of the 4 sides of this building are facing some sort of the ocean or the beach connected to it!
Every apartment complex has a little balcony that allows them to get some fresh saltwater air and get to the see the commotion of life below. The level of sound in this are has to be one of the only downsides of this place other than the fact that there's a loT of Windows that let in natural light in the general living areas.
Some of the apartments in these buildings are not sold out by the apartment owners, but rather are rented out for Air BNBs or a few night 'Hotel' stay.
The Dome
The Dome is one of the more exciting additions to the great city of Dolus Ante. While the city already has a stadium and such already. This Dome is surrounding a bit of the Wilds, imported from another area & Acclimated to this area. Trapped in a very powerful electric gate & magic field, the dangerous creatures and flora are kept. This Stadium is one of the only to exist that allow for the live watching of the very dangerous sport of Magic Obstacle Course Racing. As the official sport occurs within the Wilds.
There is a very short season available for this sport to occur, so there is often tickets on sale for months prior to the actual season kickin off! As per usual to sporting events, often times the tickets - especially in the best areas to see the arena through portal screens - are very expensive.
Ink & Metal
Ink & Metal is a widely known Tattoo and piercing parlor! They frequently are an appointment only sort of place, but they do allow a 'Piercers Choice' or 'Tattoo Artists Choice' walk ins from people who feel adventurous.
They are made to sign a waiver and othe r legal documentation that they are willingly doing this to themselves and are in the capable hands of their artist. This allows the person working to give them a small piercing or tattoo that's their choice! Its a pretty cool story to tell!
In General otherwise, this is where some of the best body piercers and tattoo artists of Dolus Ante reside. They are passionate and very fun individuals. Every booth you can see the personality of the person you are about to work with. it gives you a good and comforting atmosphere.
Hidden Treasures
Hidden Treasures is a very unique shop! It is both an antique and enchanted item shop. Most of the talisman and general enchantments are made by the woman who owns this shop as it is so they are genuine and approved by the government for sale. She and her wife seek out interesting old vintage items & wares to fix up and put up for sale. As you can never go wrong with having a unique piece of furniture that has a tale or enchantment attached!
If you are seeking enchantments to help with your luck, your love life, general focusing and studies, this is one of the best places to receive them! If you are interested in getting your hands on ancient spell tomes and books, chances are is Jinx has them! if you are looking for old enchanted brooms to hover about on or that'll do the cleaning for you; chances are you'll find that and even more here!
Between the Pages
Between the pages is a very cozy hybrid of a bookstore and a library. People are more than welcome to browse the shelfs of this two story shop and settle down in one of the seated areas, be it at the little cafe by the windows or on the couches and chairs by the fireplace. They can read through parts of their books before they decide to purchase, or even spend hours just reading books! Honestly either works, it brings people into the warm and cozy atmosphere; a bookworms personal heaven in the City.
Most of their revenue comes from the folks coming in for the coffee and food in the cafe and the books that get purchased in turn from those who spend their time browsing and finding what they want. Luckily none of the books are very pricey; maybe a couple bucks but often nothing over $25-30!
Holden Motor Shop
The Holden Motor Shop is the best place to go if you are seeking a repair, upgrade or generally wanting to find parts or even full vintage vehicles! They do deal with modern vehicles as well but they specialize in vintage. This is a father and son owned business that has been going for the past 50 years! They are capable men and often work on repairing old cars for folks because they enjoy the long trips of getting to find these rare, still functioning parts!
Generally they are really fair about their pricing as well and don't upcharge the parts for more than they are truly worth + a little tiny bit for the commission fee. They are a loved shop amongst the other shops keeps as they are willing to trade services for a good burger, a good book or tattoo. It depends on how the sales for the day go and how bargening they feel
Mont Blanc Gated Community
If you are seeking that of the rich, famous or even the well off due to family in other areas, their jobs or what have you! This is the location in which you'll find them living. Mont Blanc is nestled into the base of the mountains, closer to a secret little outcove of beach in which some of these houses have access too! Some teens sneak their way onto this private beach, having yet to be caught amongst its white sands.
All in All, Mont Blanc Gated is fairly close to the school this local is famous for, their culinary tracks are utmost some of the best within the country. Amongst this, these community members often have private courts, giant pools, huge homes too big for most families, and so much more! They are rather well-off and generally it's not uncommon to see maids and butlers about.
Mont Blanc Academy
Welcome to Mont Blanc Academy, A Rich and prestigious culinary school. The entrance exam within this academy is proctored by two women who have the most judgmental tasting processes in the world. The entrance rate into this academy is incredibly low, and the challenges they have to endure in classes can cause even the most ambitious to curl up in a ball and cry. But whether you get through this by sheer luck or talent. You will become one of the most sought out cooks in the country.
Mont Blanc is known for its culinary prowess and its skills will give you an edge within the fine dining scene and blow away competition if you start your own line of restaurants even! Though this academy is NOT for the faint of heart.
Mont Blanc Fine Dining
Speaking of Fine Dining, this is an overall branch of some of the most popular fine dining restaurants located around Whitepoint! These can be located wherever within the city, but most are close to the gated community & the ski lodge/resort that's much much higher up within the mountain range! The list goes as follows!
Taste of Frost: Despite its silly name, Taste of Frost is a restaurant that mostly offers up food that has been engineered and served in a way that is unconventional, such as being given little caviar beads and having them taste like say, a pasta or something! Definitely a unique experience.
Oasis: A simple name for a very not simple restaurant, this place is incredibly difficult to obtain reservations for! Unless you know someone, you might have to call months in advance in order to actually obtain a time for this restaurant! The food here is above average with portion sizes for fine dining and its indescribable, the presentation and taste are like no other. It's an experience and a meal all in one.
Oeuf d'or; The name meaning 'Golden Egg', this restaurant is a fine dining experience for the early breakfast go-ers of the ski lodge & resort. They close around that of lunchtime and don't reopen till the next day at very early hours! Up to that of 4 am. The food served here is a fine dining take on your typical breakfast foods, including that of crepes! Most of the food here is also over the top and has things such as gold leaf! Hence the name.
De Mevius Ski Lodge & Resort
Welcome to the best get-away during the summer! Because of how high this resort is located; they have an all-year Ski season! This makes it a very popular destination for many tourists and the elite who have time to kill! This resort is owned by a family of old money! They had this resort built many, many generations ago and is still being passed down in ownership to be managed by the De Mevius Family.
This resort is open to both the public and elite, having two very different sections for both! This resort includes everything from your general ski routes, a little training area for new folks, a gym, a spa, a sauna! Many restaurants and probably some of the comfiest rooms you can rent! Some even having their own personal little fireplaces! Most of the rooms are themed after Log-Cabins and have a super cozy feel to them!
De Mevius Mountain Pass
Attached to that of the Ski lodge is that of a few different hiking trails! These trails can go for miles the higher the 'difficulty' and can be an all-day trip! In winter it is a beautiful white Winterland, with fresh snow it is beyond beautiful; to look out onto the mountains, the city and areas beyond in the far distance. During the spring and summer time, these trails are blossoming into warm green areas the further down you go! In fall you can see as the colors of the leaves change going up or down until you hit the snowy peaks!
Off one of the trails is a small cliff that is railed off and has a little sitting area with little binoculars to see out into the distance much easier! This is a popular little geocaching spot along with a wonderful place to picnic or camp if you can't make it back to the lodge due to bad planning or whatnot! There is also a little bathroom in this outcrop.
Cherry Grove Apartments
Cherry Grove is a set of high-end, luxury apartments in the high-life part of the city. Surrounded by that of boutiques, shops, casinos and the works. Some of these apartments are further into the quieter part of the city, others are right where it is super bustling. These apartments are usually have a good few rooms or very spacious rooms. Some of these apartments even have second stories! Mostly all contain balconies of some sort & large glass windows!
Often times there is amenities to these locations! Ranging from on-site laundry, gym areas, swimming pools, parking spaces and more! They are honestly worth the pretty penny they are, especially for living in one of the nicest areas in the city. Though they may not be for everyone!
Sweetheart Boutique
Sweetheart Boutique is a fashion central for anyone who enjoys cute pastels, soft sweaters and the hottest in women's fashion. Its run by a model for the Daydream Agency! They sell everything from cute skirts and shirt to lingerie and the softest robes you could imagine! This is a store meant for the softies, the elegant and those who are looking to spend a pretty penny on designer clothing that's tailored to be hand fit!
This boutique stocks clothing from various famous designers, including a personal line of lingerie for plus sized women and men designed by the owner of the establishment! With every purchase you get a free extra thing, this can be a makeup sample for the shop nearby, a business card with a sweet chocolate, or even additional clothing! Its all complimentary to keep the high spenders coming back
Daydream Agency
Daydream is a Talent agency that scopes out the likes of Dolus Ante, Colton & Sinclair for new and upstarting talent. They cover everything from record labels, to setting up young actors and actresses, to finding models for swimwear, artistic nudity, formal or even high fashion shoots! If there's something you need an agent to get into? Chances are Daydream is going to be the thing that'll get you going! Though they are far from the only agency that is fighting for the talent within the three bustling cities on this side of Aphmer!
They also specialize in creating idol and Boy band groups, they are usually young, bright eyed and cute. As this companies brand is very much on the cute and attractive. They don't care about your physique as long as you are healthy as they can guarantee they'll find you work >:3c
Sins of the City
Welcome to the City that is Owned or Deeply rooted into the Sins of the Blueblood Corp. This are also includes some areas that you wouldn't quite expect to be linked to a criminal organization, but in fact they are! And in ways you may not think
Old Town
Old town is the oldest part of the city with little to no surprise! Its actually a rather well kept area that's pretty decent to live. kids will be out and about playing in the back streets & will go home before dark. There's a park that's nearby, right on the corner to where the Holden Academy is! The closest public school within this district of the city! It's a pretty quaint little neighborhood despite the fact that many of its residents work within not so great jobs!
The Architecture of this side of the city is also in a older style, like it hasn't been touched by that of any house flippers and it seems like the residents in this area are going to keep it that way; keep the unique and beautiful homes as they are with them being upkept so they last for more generations to come.
Holden Academy
Holden Academy is the Closest public school around this side of the city! It's a very large school and about 80% of the city commutes to this school system if not the Private academies that are sprinkled around the city. As Private academies dominate this area! because this school is so large, a lot of jobs are within the education field out here!
The Kids here usually range from elementary all the way to the end of high school where they'll transfer out to any of the local colleges!
With some luck, they'll get on scholarship and get to go overseas to study or get to make the trip to the two famous academies in Sinclair or Colton!
All in all this school isn't bad, it has a decent education and the kids aren't bad, if not just rowdy. They have a very strict policy on drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, vapes and the like! So kids are highly discouraged to even try to sneak it as it honestly isn't worth the expulsion for possessing it. However, those that do are often targeted by the Blueblood corp for future, potential, workers. They will ruin these kids lives.
Holden Community College
Those who are not fortunate and don't manage to get a scholarship to get into a better college, they often wind up here. The same shit, different font essentially. College is a lot more relaxed when it comes to the rules and restrictions on alcohol and the likes. This is only really a 4-year college and is decently affordable!
The college itself offers a pretty wide range of degrees & allows students to figure out what they want to do for themselves for the most part. They do have a decent nursing program along with general medical programs! Their magic education isn't that bad either, just not as advanced as other areas.
They have a bunch of different buildings scattered around the city, so unfortunately there is a decent commute from some areas but scheduling for classes accounts for this! Most base it off the public transportation scheduling to make it easier on the students!
Dolus Ante Community Centre & Shelter
The Dolus Ante Centre & Homeless shelter is a well-known building within the old part of the city. It was put into place to try and make an effort to reduce the rate of homelessness and struggling drug addicts that are around the city. The community center end of this building is aimed to be a safe place for everyone to come. This center helps with local cleanup and restoration projects.
The Shelter end of this building separates men and women. There's wings for both & they dorm in rooms of four to six people per room, there's a communal showering and washing area for each wing. Along with a kitchen that is stocked with donations from the local churches and grocery stores that need to lessen waste. Its not the best place to live but it at the very least is something.
However, unfortunately, this is where the Blueblood corp has dug its nails into worsening these people's lives. They will get jobs within the center and begin secretly selling drugs & alcohol to the homeless within, getting them addicted and then leading them to that of the bank in order to get loans to be able to fuel their newfound addictions. Its easier to prey on the people here as they are usually in very low parts of their lives.
Darling Jewelers
This is a front for the Bluebell Corp. This jewelry store is legit with its sales and production of jewelry, however a lot of their customers are folks looking to purchase Voided and other drugs in large quantities; in cases that are enchantment resistant and are very hard to crack into due to magic locks.
The back end of this store is where they keep their orders, very specific items that are ordered to be fitted is code for the drugs and what exactly they are seeking. And the only way you can tell they are apart of the approved folks is the fact they will have a 6 pointed star lapel pin within whatever suit they may be wearing.
Beyond the whole crime aspect of this store, it is a high end and pretty chic little jewelry store with some alternatives to diamonds & they offer complimentary enchantments! [Some of which are tracking for individuals the Blueblood CEO wishes to keep an eye on]
Blueblood Estate
This is the expansive estate of the Blueblood household. now currently being resided by the only Son of the reigning family. It is known that he is not seen often outside his working hours and mandatory appearances. No one fully knows the mysteries of this man or his manor. However it is known he hosts parties for the holidays and is quite the flirt.
His estate is large, having a pool, garden, tennis court and even stables in the back. He owns a rather large home, with more floors than he probably knows what to do with and more staff than any one person could possibly need for living alone. So most of his board and staff have a residency within the manor itself; which you get paid to work & you get to stay in the staff part of this luxurious estate. I say that's a win
Blueblood Casino
The Blueblood Casino is a penthouse casino, Located on the Gilded Pavillions penthouse. It is a two story casino floor with some very high risk, high reward sorta games that are indeed rigged but in a way they are also doable if you have the right stroke of luck. There are anti-enchantments and anti-cheating precautions installed so even the staff have to play fare and square, as mandated by law.
However that doesn't mean they cant play dirty other ways. They get their players very drunk & very intoxicated off enchanted petals. And if they aren't one to drink, they'll be offered laced smokes, cigars & even food. They will not make the best decisions and are very susceptible to the suggestion of others. This is how the Corp uses its manipulation tactics to wring people's pockets dry and send them out to the curb with nothing.
Blueblood Banking Corp.
The Blueblood bank is one of the most used banks within this side of Aphmer. They have royal blue cards with golden accents to them, their app is top notch and efficient. They offer loans with little questions even if the interest rates are reather,, high,, This is how they get people in their web though. They will give high credit card limits and watch people who are doomed to fail, get trapped and cant dig their way out so they become another plaything for the company.
The Bank within itself is a very beautiful building. It has high arches, a gorgeous mosaic floor and some stained glass windows, you can meet with advisers and other professionals as needed. Its a lovely environment and people know what they are doing. so if you are good with your money and responsible, they are a really good bank option!
Gilded Heights Casino
Gilded heights is the newest branch Casoni that's been taken over by the blueblood corp. They are not as underhanded as the Blueblood casino is, but they do hire actors to make it big and they occasionally use these actors to blow it all to show that you can win it all, but you can also lose it. This was a strategy of the previous owners and it was kept.
The casino itself is a big three floor one, having low risk, low reward to extremely high risk for extremely high reward games! They still use the tactic of impairing the critical thinking and judgment of their patrons through alcohol, drinks and food within this Casino. As Well as the distraction of beautiful men and women in more revealing uniforms, as no one can think clearly if they are being quite smitten for the hot waiter or waitress.
St. Cristell Hospital & Pharmaceutical
The St. Cristell Hospital and associated pharmacies were the most recent purchase by the Blueblood Corp. These are high end hospitals with very lush and comfortable rooms, their staff is very attentive, and it is probably one of the better hospitals in the city of Dolus Ante. This is a very important asset for the corp as it gathers personal intel about the higher up folks of the city, and some of the lower-class folks. As the heir of the corp now has access to health records, addresses and other personal information he can use for blackmail, pressuring or straight up manipulating others through his lackies.
Another aspect of this hospital that is Important is that of its morgue. If bodies are deemed suitable, they are sent out of facility to a secret facility to be dismembered and prepared to be shipped & sold in the Sinclair City Black Market. As it is an out of State affair, it is not a crime that can be pinned on this corp.
The Underground
The Underground is a variety of things, but the main of which is an extension of the black-market from Sinclair. They have semi-Permanente shops that are set up in the dead areas of Dolus Ante city.
They have inclusions of illegal fighting rings, dragon fighting rings and a lot more that the blueblood corp oversees and protects from the prying eyes of the police that snoops through the area. Thanks to the informants positioned within the force, they can clear out the area before a raid would occur.
The underground is also what controls the intake and outtake of smuggled items from Aphmer to that of Valdoir. The Blueblood Corp has ties with The Crest family from Vin Cerina, thusly they have a secured route to trade to and from, manipulating the guidelines and laws of Dolus Ante. From here, they take the smuggled goods and sell them in Sinclair and Colton.
'The Shining Pearl'
This is the Second ship purchased by the Blueblood Corp & is its most profitable, being the Casino Cruiser. The first layer holds many little bars, it has a giant pool & hot tub area, with a floating bar and fine dining at the front of the ship. The next floor has very high-end retailers & fine dining [with the occasional very risky fast-food place that's a guilty pleasure] Below this floor is the residential suites. The floor below this is the casino floor that has no escorts, it has an expensive bar and delightful eye candy staff, it's the floor below that is detailed to be for escort services and only those with the VIP passes have access to this floor. If it ever comes to it, this is the perfect floor to "take care" of any potential threats to the business.
'The Maiden'
The Maiden was the first cruiser purchased by the Blueblood corp, it and its sister ship both travel to and from Vin Cerina. This one is for that of the public, while 'The Shining Pearl' is for the upper crusts.
The first layer holds many little bars, it has two major pools & some hot tubs. One end for the first-class patrons, the other for second- and third-class patrons! Then you have the second floor down which contains a lot of ships & places to dine! The floors beneath these are simple cabins for the staff and the patrons of the ship! It's a delightful time for all who come for the cruise!
