UNOVA
The sea of endless cities
Unova is one of the most heavily developed regions in the world, with towering cities and huge concrete flats. But that doesn't mean it's all skyscrapers, as Unova is a diverse region of a multitude of biomes.
GEOGRAPHY
Unova's geography is unique, as much of it has been modified by humans. What was an oasis about to be devoured by a desert became the largest city in the world. Unova is home to deserts, badlands, coral reefs, and warm semi-tropical areas, though the large majority of the region is temperate and filled with either forests or plains. While much of the region is quite flat due to human development, it does host a mountain range and areas of an altitude where it snows year-long.
HISTORY
Like the other regions of the Western continent, Unova has a history of royalty and kings. Though it's now been buried under thousands of years, the two harmonious kings of Unova set their beliefs far into the region's roots, those being the beliefs of truth and ideals. Unlike other regions, though, the past seems to be easily lost under the weight of the present and future, making it the region that acknowledges it's history the most. It sometimes seems that Unova has always been a sea of cities, even when cities like Opelucid pay their tribute to the past.
POPULATION
Unova's population is the largest and most diverse of all the regions, not really having a set culture of its own. It also has the most diverse regional pokedex of all regions, and just like humans, many of the pokemon in Unova have adapted to living in large cities. In Unova, you can find a little bit of just about everything.
