Elleron

❝ The great city of Praque has nearly been returned to its former glory. Residing inside the country of Iyzmiska, Praque is the most technologically advanced on the planet of Elleron. It is the first city that has been fully repaired after the damaging effects of the Great War. It is the only city with a functioning spaceport and, as such, is the only location denizens of Elleron can legally leave and return to when traveling through space.
There are many names for the dangerous, radioactive wastelands surrounding not only the city of Praque but the entire planet. The waste is dangerous firstly due to the hazardous levels of radiation and secondly due to the mutated monstrosities that call it home. Venturing out into the wastes is a death sentence for most, but a select few are granted permission to enter by the Izymiska government. These teams consist of brave Phuzomedes who are risking their lives to further the reclamation and expansion of our world. ❞

Praque
Praque is the only surviving city after the Great War, sitting lone and independent in the great country of Iyzmiska. Its government surveils its people constantly, and while there are rebel sects attempting to fight back against their oppression, the loudest voices are always the ones proclaiming glory to Iyzmiska. Everyone walks a very thin line to be allowed to exist.
The Wastes
The lands outside Praque cover the entire planet. They are radioactive and filled with dangerous, mutated monsters. A select few of Praque's citizens are allowed license to explore the Wastes and bring back old, lost technology or special samples for research, but this is a highly regulated and highly dangerous job, and only the bravest (or most stupid) venture far.
Methuselah's Clinic
An old, run-down clinic in an old, run-down part of town. Methuselah's clinic consists of two rooms and a storage closet, and while he has most of the equipment he needs to do his job, much of it is as old as the building. He makes do with what he has access to, however, and his clinic is known for its non-judgmental approach and Methuselah's willingness to make deals with those who can't afford treatment.
Admir's Shop
Admir is a weapons dealer, running a strictly above-the-board business in a quieter part of Praque. His shop is, as one might expect, a front for a larger business: rather than selling his less-legal merchandise here, he makes deals in code and comes up with the deliveries elsewhere. In this way, he is able to consider himself a weapons dealer and sell to everyone in Praque while still having a level of plausible deniability.
Abbey of the Chromatic Flame
Considered a social experiment by the Iyzmiska government, the Abbey is run by a kind old lady named Gaia. She believes that raising children with love and care improves their lives, and her Abbey has seen many such children to adulthood. Because the Abbey is situatied near a garden district, Gaia introduces her young charges to a love for nature and the world around them.
Sanctuary
The Mutt Sanctuary was a well-kept secret for many years, especially from Iyzmiska loyalists who might attempt to attack it. There, in a hidden underground city, live mutts who wish to live free from Iyzmiska's oppression. Their doors were long-closed to Phuzos from Praque, but after a disaster struck the city, they began to welcome refugees.

Cathedral is a prodigal inventor, highly sought-after for his skill in creating high-tech prosthetics. He was born and raised with a silver spoon in his hand, and never had any reason to believe that there might be more to the world than the high society he was exposed to. That is: he never had any reason until he personally came face-to-face with it.
He was only beginning to explore the depths of his ignorance when Praque was attacked by a mysterious hacker, sending it into disarray. With only his assistant, Aveline, by his side, along with what the two of them could carry on their backs, Cathedral fled into the desert, where they were found by a mysterious traveler...

Hera was raised in the Abbey of the Chromatic Flame and taught that all life is precious -- that everybody should be cared for, regardless of the wrong they have done. When she grew old enough to venture into the world outside the Abbey, however, she learned that the world which exists outside is far different than the one that should exist. And she was raised to always do what is right.
Despite her young age, Hera joined the rebellion against the Iyzmiskan government and vowed to make the world into the better place it was always meant to be. When Praque fell to the hacker Rhecka, Hera was ready to fight back.

Adonis was arrested for anarchy, leaving those close to him confused and betrayed. But it did not end there; Adonis was innocent, and they struck out into the Wastes in order to prove it. There, they found a city that only existed in whispers: the Mutt Sanctuary, the one safe place from the Iyzmiskan government. And the one safe place from Rhecka, after the city was hacked.
After disaster struck Praque, Archie's small family made their way back to Sanctuary. There, Archie set to work on what he does best: hacking the impossible hack that drove them out of their home.
Pitch Darkness

Artemis has grown up outside of the city of Praque, raised in a small fishing village by a community of people who fled the city. He cares very deeply for his home and the people who live there, and his greatest fear is disappointing his parents, who rely on him. But he is betrothed to a Phuzo who is not kind to him, and nearly every day he flees his village to sit at a small oasis only he knows about: the safest place in the world.
Little does he know: a monster lurks in the caves near the oasis. A vicious beast who barely considers himself a Phuzo, Bellinor emerges from the pitch-blackness of his cave only to hunt unsuspecting citizens of Iyzmiska, who he blames for the death of his love. He has not heard a kind word nor felt a gentle touch in years... until Artemis finds him.
