Witches

Lore created by DespairPink

Generations ago, Witches originally hailed from an old country called Resanilia, named after the Witch God Rosanlie (now renamed The Witch's Ruins). Though about 120 years ago, the first Queen died and a curse was placed upon the country grounds. Another Witch decided to take the throne and helped lead the people to new grounds where everyone can safely live. It was dubbed Maegika Kingdom from then on.

Despite the migration, the common belief in the society is that they are blessed with life and magic by Rosanlie.

All creature-based Witches can change to full creature at will.

Misc Witches

Common Witches live on borders of Maegika Kingdom. They are the first types of Witches that any visitors come to see whenever they enter by foot or vehicle. Some Witches holds nothing really special, though some become activity-based (i.e. Music Witches, Art Witches, etc.). They are of a commonplace class, though they still work hard to make the architecture in their home cities and towns presentable for themselves and for visitors.

They can be mistaken for humans, if they ever bother leaving the country for any reason. Their only solid fact that they're Witches is that they're able to live in Maegika Kingdom.

Marine Witches

Marine Witches live in the Ocean, more commonly in the Witch's Ocean. They bear features of any known sea creatures, and often look like merfolk. Unlike merfolk, however, they are freely able to leave the ocean and walk on land for whatever reason they please. Marine Witches are of a commonplace class. Their architecture revolves around repairing underwater ruins or making homes out of caves.

No matter their formation, they are able to breathe underwater for an indefinite amount of time.

Some Marine Witches worships the water Gods, while some others worship the Witch God. A few even worship both.

Insect Witches

Insect Witches bears insect or bug-like features; up to and including multiple arms or eyes, bug-like wings or antennas. They are commonly found within the outer-middle cities of Maegika Kingdom. They are of a commonplace class, and their architecture may vary from out-right weird or absolutely beautiful.

Some Insect Witches are able to hide their features at will, though it is a rare trait that they possess. Some will use their features to help make their beauty pop (i.e. a Butterfly Witch using their wings as a cloak/cape).

Animal Witches

Animal Witches bear any features of known animals. Their strength and power are dependent on their animal's place in the food chain (if an animal is high up in the food chain, the Witch they are based of have an easier time hiding their features at will). They can be found in the middle-inner cities of Maegika Kingdom, almost overlapping the inner cities where the Mythical Witches live. Animal Witches are middle class, and their architecture almost resembles the beauty that the Mythical Witches hold. Although the materials used are different, the Animal Witches try their best to keep their buildings beautiful and presentable. Animal Witches can bear the abilities of the animals (i.e. Bunny & Cheetah Witches are really fast on their movements).

Cryptid Witches
Cryptid Witches are a sub-class of Animal Witch and bear the features of the creatures that have been classed as Cryptid. They share the same powers as an Animal Witch, and live within the same cities as the Animal Witches.

Mythical Witches

Mythical Witches are solely based upon mythical creatures, and are considered to be the most majestic of all Witches. As such, they are of noble class, and live within the capital cities of Maegika Kingdom that surrounds the castle. Their architecture are well-taken care of and exotic, making sure the inner cities look absolutely beautiful and expensive to help compliment the castle that they surround. They control the most strongest of magics compared to other Witches of Achelois, possessing abilities of their mythical creature and beyond.
