1. I have a merkoi have the rules changed for them?
- Yes! Merkois can now walk on land for about 5-6 hours before they begin growing their scales back to change back into a Merkoi. They must return to the water to sleep though.
2. Do I need a MYO slot in order to design the landform of my Merkoi? ANd is there a time limit for me to be able to finish my MYO design?
- No, you do not need a MYO slot for the design. You are required to use the same traits that your Merkois design has though! There is no time limit, unless otherwise stated during an event.
- I do suggest however, that you do both the humanoid form and the Merkoi form around the same time to make it easier on yourself!
3. If someone makes art of my Characters for me, do we both get Scale Coins?
- No, we got rid of that rule. The one who is being commissioned has already been paid so we don’t find it fair to let people essentially double dip.
- Gifting is another matter. If it is a gift or request the Scale coins will be split 50/50 between the gifter and receiver.
4. WILL EVENTS FOR THE SPECIES BE COMING TO TOYHOUSE AND DA OR ARE THEY STRICTLY GOING TO BE ON THE DISCORD SERVER?
- They will be coming to BOTH Toyhouse and DA starting the second half of this month!
- We will be trying our best to be getting everything out at the same time as it comes out on the Discord server!

5. DO I NEED TO BE ON THE DISCORD SERVER IN ORDER TO BE IN THE SPECIES?
- No, you do not need to be on the discord server in order to be apart of the species.
- However, it would be very helpful if you were on the discord so we can keep better track of your Scale Coins and answer you much faster with whatever questions you may have.
- We have a bot on the server that takes care of the banking for us and you just need to do a simple command in oder to know your balance!
- Also, being on the discord server will also give you faster transactions with the shop! You can be in the shop and process your transaction with a simple command and instantly have your item stored in your digital backpack! This way you can all up the backpack at any time in order to see
- While you are in the discord server we also have Daily, Weekly, and Monthly commands to receive free Scale Coins! So, there are a bunch of perks to being apart of the server, but again you do not need to be apart of the server in order to be apart of the species.
6. IF I WANT TO LEAVE THE SPECIES, BUT KEEP MY CHARACTERS DO I NEED TO REMOVE ANY TRAITS BEFORE REMOVING THEM FROM THE SPECIES?
- It is required that you to either remove the ears or the Tail from your character in order to void out the characters.
- We also ask that you let us know that you are removing the character from the group so we can properly take care of the master list.
- While not required, we would appreciate permission of the original artist for making major design changes.
7. WITH THE QUESTS DO I GET MORE SC IF I DO MORE THAN JUST THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENT FOR COMPLETING THE TASK?
- No, you will only receive the set amount of scale coins that is specified for the task.
- Even with a set amount of Scale Coins for each task you are able to get the Scale Coins to stack with the number of entries you submit for the task.
- It will normally only stack three times for three different entries.
8. CAN I COMBINE TRAIT RARITY ON THE SAME TRAIT?
- Yes, you can. Doing so changes the rarity of the trait as follows:
- Common + Common = Uncommon
- Common + Uncommon = Uncommon
- Uncommon + Uncommon = Rare
- Uncommon + Rare = Rare
- Rare + Rare = Very Rare
- Rare + Very Rare = Very Rare
- Very Rare + Very Rare = P/VP only
9. WHAT ARE P/VP TRAITS
- P/VP traits are president and vice president only traits. They are labeled in black on the trait sheets. If they are not shown within the traits they are normally written down under the traits that are displayed on the toyhouse.
10. ARE HYBRID SHEETS UP ON THE WORLD?
- Currently no, once I can sit down and work on the world they will be added!!
11. HOW MANY MUTATIONS CAN 1 KOI HAVE?
- 2 mutations for 1 design are allowed. Mutations cannot be passed down through a family without you having the power slots in order to make the mutation on the new koi.
12. CAN SPECIAL TRAITS BE PASSED DOWN?
- No, just like mutation you need the proper slots and also extra of said special trait in order for it to be "passed down" in the generations
13. FOR THE GILLS ON THE KOI ARE THEY SPECIFIC OR DO WE GET FREE REIGN ON THEM?
- You have free reign on the style you would like your kois gills to look like.
14. CAN I HAVE A CAT NOSEAND MOUTH WITHOUT HAVING TO GET A MUTATION?
- No, you must have the fuzzy fishies mutation in order to have a cat nose and mouth along with cat legs from the knees down.
15. DO DRAGO-KOI HORNS HAVE TO BE CORAL?
- Yes! They must look like coral! This means no smooth likes or points on the Coral. If we cannot distinguish the Coral please provide an example of the Coral you are using for the horn.
16. CAN DRAGO=KOIS TURN ITO DRAGONS?
- No
17. IF I HAVE THE ANTHRO MUTATION CAN MY KOI SWITCH BETWEEN ANTHRO AND KEMONOMIMI?
- No, there may be something to allow it in the future though!
18. IF I LEAVE THE SERVER WHAT SHOULD I DO ABOUT THE ITEMS IN MY BAG?
- Please screenshot your bag before you leave the server as there is no way for us to retrieve your items once you leave.
19. CAN WE USE A DIFFERENT ALTAGIAN FOR EACH DAILY/WEEKLY PROMPT?
- Yes!! Spread the love!
20. HOW DO DRAGO-KOI HONS WORK FOR RARITY?
- Common = 1 coral horn
- Uncommon = 2 coral horns
- Rare = 3 coral horns
- Very Rare = 4 coral horns
- P/VP = 5+ coral horns
21. HOW DOES THE CORAL HORNS WORK FOR DRAGO-KOI CROSSBREEDS?
- This is for: Carni-drago | Mer-drago | kitty- drago
- Common = no coral horn
- Uncommon = no coral horn
- Rare = 1 coral horn
- Very Rare = 2 coral horns
- P/VP ONLY = 3+ coral horns
22. CAN I HAVE TWINS/TRIPLETS?
- Yes!! As long as you have the myos to do it by all means!
23. HOW TALL ARE KOIS?
- Their average height is just a few inches taller than the average human height. Of course you can make taller or shorter! You want an 8ft babe you do it! Now for drago kois, they are on average 2-3 foot taller than the average human.
24. IF I'M IN THE SERVER ARE MY SPECIAL TRAITS PLACED IN MY BAG?
- No, please take a screenshot of them and keep them safe for when you do use them we need to see the proof you have the trait!
25. ARE SPECIAL TRAITS MUTATIONS?
- Nope! They are special traits that can only be won during events and daily rewards!
26. WILL THERE BE MORE LORE ADDED?
- Yes! Once I can sit down and work on the th I will be adding more lore!!
27. SHOULD I KEEP AN SC TRACKER?
- If you would like to yes! Especially if you are not in the server for the bot to help keep track of your SC!
28. WHAT IS THE FASTEST WAY TO GET AHOLD OF A MOD?
- Through being on the server on discord or DMing a mod on discord! This will give you the fastest turn around for a response.
