"Magmarians are a species of magma based merfolk, who also reside in Atlagia. Though they have only recently been discovered by KittyKois, they have been around for millenia."

Hot facts:
-They call their homeland Magmaria.
-They are either considered Volran or Coright.

Deep within the earth's crust, and along the volcanic fissures that move and sometimes erupt into volcanoes, lives a most peculiar creature. That creature, known as a Magmarian, is a fish like humanoid adapted for the most extreme temperatures of the planet. The most common of these Magmarians lives near the surface in the subcaves connected to volcanic shafts. Rumor has it that they can be seen playing on the surfaces of volcanoes just before they erupt, or even that these creatures are responsible in some way for dormant volcanoes becoming active.
They feed off of small creatures that dwell in the flow with them or in the nearby ecosystem; their teeth are generally sharp for tearing into flesh, and even bone, depending on the Magmarian. To find one that doesn't eat meat is akin to finding THE big foot...they seemingly do not exist.

Magmarians are able to leave their magma environment for a day at a time, before needing to return for at least a day after. With being able to walk around they are also able to travel to other worlds a few times per day. If they find themselves feeling too stiff or weak as they travel they are just as easily able to find a local volcano to spend some time in.
With their ability to travel Magmarians are also able to reproduce outside their species, though it is rare as most times other species get hurt by their physical heat.

Volran: Typically have omnivore teeth, live near the surface and in volcanic fissures. Could easily be mistaken for a mermaid if not for the lack of water around them.
Coright: Typically have carnivore teeth, live closer to the core of the world. Tougher more rocklike/dry skin to the touch, might even form hard stone like claws.
While both may have rarer teeth, like that of an angler fish or a more vampiric appearance to their teeth, their general hunting grounds, and living environment is what gives them their different names.
