In the Orion arm of the milky way galaxy, there was a cluster of stars. Explosions and destruction consumed the newly forming planets and moons. Molten cores morphing and flexing, constantly changing and strengthening themselves into planets. These planets were caught in the gravity of the Type G star Ubri. The fourth planet, in particular, is called Altagia. This is where our story begins. Altagia started off its years just like any other planet, through evolving and surviving multiple collisions as it grew in size. With it landing in Ubri’s habitable zone an ecosystem began to establish itself. As life evolved in this world, there was something else that also developed the pure source of magic Aether. With this Aether so condensed beings began to take shape. These beings are the gods and goddesses of this world. The gods and goddess brought the beings known as Kitty Kois to life. With their creation, the gods and goddesses decided that it would be best for Kitty Kois to also have magic. With this magic, they will learn and grow the world around them. And they did. Kitty Kois established a beautiful landscape and architecture. Even with fights being in their history about those with Akoto magic being superior to the other magics, these battles were solved with little bloodshed. The Gods and Goddesses thought that they were going to have to get involved at one point to stop the Kitty Kois foolishness and meaningless banter. They did not wish to see their creations simply throw their lives away as they, the gods have already chosen the path of peace so too shall their descendants in this world. There are still rivalries that take place between the cities, but everyone does get together and live in harmony. From the base structure of these Kitty Kois, they split them into three other species. One the Merkois one of the main predators of the deep. They have special magic that allows them to also change their tail into human legs so they can walk on land amongst their cousins the Kitty Koi. but they also maintain peace in the great oceans in this world. Carni-kois, the masters of the mountains and lower plains. They are expert hunters and climbers. Their senses are said to be the best out of all the species that live on Altagia. Carni-kois live in tribes and even though they look fierce and primal, they understand that not everyone can live a simple life and rely on only instincts. Then there’s the elusive Drago-koi. Drago-koi is said to be closest to the gods and goddesses of this world. They live in what is called the Floating Mountains. These mountains maintain their altitude due to the pure Aether that surrounds them. This is where the Drago-koi live. They are a mix of dragons and Kitty Kois so their magic is very powerful, but even they know their limits. This world is still so young and prospering and yet to the Kitty Kois and all their subspecies they only know of their being life on the continent that they live on. It would seem even the Merkoi have not dared take the long journey to the warmer waters that surround the other large continent. But, one day someone may just be brave enough to make that journey and see if there is life on the east continent in Altagia. Since then the gods and Goddess have created other species such as the Magmarians. The polar opposite of the kitty-koi species. Magmarians live within the volcanoes and magma of the world. Of course, they are not isolated, Magmarian’s have magic that allows them to transform their lower half into legs so they may walk on land. They can be found on both continents of the world and are mostly commonly found interacting with the Carni-kois since they live up in the mountains and prosper from the hot springs. Some may even argue that Magmarians were created before Kitty-Kois in order to help create the planet itself. One will never know as the truth has been lost to myths and legends of old.
