About

Sol was 21 when he joined ACIDATA, having been dragged in by his younger brother Waylon. While Waylon was more forward and into the party life of it all, Solomon is way more technically inclined and likes to do most of his work in the background, or quietly. He is not know for his stage presence or really presence at all, staying almost silent during interviews unless technical questions are asked, and yet, he had become an invaluable part of the band. In 1991 when he was brought in he has just completed his bachelor's in music production and was looking for work. Synth and keyboard were the two things he knew the most about when it came to playing skill so it all work out in a seemingly magic way.

He often found himself preoccupied with the production and mixing of it all, helping upgrade their sound at the cost of his personal time. He quit his normal 9-5 to pursue touring with the band and doesn't regret it at all.. er... outside of wishing he hadn't died, but there's not much you can do about that one.

Way had to convince his brother for weeks to agree to check the band out at practice, at first thinking it was some sort of hobby project he dismissed it, but he was very mistaken. By the time Sol had made it to a practice the band was already selling out local venues and in need of a full-time manager. It was chaos, but he was hooked.

Despite his cynical nature Sol believed very deeply in the integrity of the band and would often be found staving off "haters" in online spaces under pseudonyms, and sending secret letters out to radio stations to pick up their music. Sol is genuinely happy to be apart of ACIDATA he just wishes he didn't have to die before they got to reach their full potential of fame.

"sometimes I wonder what would've happened if my brother didn't get me to join the band with him."
