Likes: Following orders/rules, coffee, staying awake all night, the calmness of nature, red roses, dark magic, sweet fruits, and cute things (his definition of cute, that is).

Dislikes: Disorder, obstacles to his goals, people questioning Glades/Shadow-cat, rushing into things, destruction of nature, salty foods, and loud music.

Personality: Cyrus considers himself to be the leader of his species (though Cecil would argue against this) and carefully acts in what he considers will be in their best favor. Because of his, Cyrus is greatly loyal to Glades and Shadow-cat, believing that if he follows their word that he and the other elves will be able to live fulfilling lives. This means his loyalty is occasionally a bit blind, often not questioning the more questionable parts of his superiors plans until very late into the story. Cyrus tends to be very focused on his work and comes off as serious as a result. However, he has a great sense of loyalty and companionship towards his fellow elves that he is not great at expressing. He tends to come off as quiet and stilted towards them and all affection towards him tends to go over his head. Cyrus also doesn't seem to realize that his fellow elves don't all get along. He occasionally stays up all night makes new plans for his allies.

History: Cyrus and the other elves used to live peaceful lives until their home was taken over by Glades. Wanting to protect his fellow elves, Cyrus was quick to follow Glades' orders and encourage his fellow elves to do the same. Thanks to his strong loyalty, Cyrus quickly became trusted among Glades' forces and gained a leadership position among his peers. He doesn't interact with the main characters much at first, but eventually becomes a recurring enemy of theirs.

Current-Bio: Cyrus currently works for SAC and is a recurring enemy of the main characters. He tends to work by himself, but also is known to bring Reese with him on his missions. Eventually he begins to question Glades himself...

Meta-History: Cyrus has origins as a completely different character who existed when Saturn and Matchi were catgirls instead of elves. This character was a catboy named Claude who looked almost almost identical to Matchi but with a black theme instead of red/orange and seemed to be younger than Matchi. Somehow when I was rebranding several characters as elves, Claude became Cyrus (previously spelled "Cirus" until recently) and gained a radically different design and personality. Claude was bratty, impatient, and selfish while Cyrus is quiet, calculated, and mature. None of the other elves had such a drastic change in their development, but I'm guessing I felt his character was too similar to Matchi and wanted to make him a more contrasting character. I'm not really sure what prompted the name change though. I know "Claude" was taken from a character in Hollow Fields while Cyrus was probably gotten from the Pokemon character. |D You guys should know this by now but I've very easily influenced by the media I consume.

Relationships with Other Characters:

Shadow-cat: Cyrus is very loyal to Shadow-cat.

Glades: Cyrus is very loyal to Glades.

Cheryl: Cyrus doesn't mind Cheryl's company, but usually doesn't understand her jokes.

Deerrain: Cyrus considers Deerrain to be his friend and is completely unaware of Deerrain's sense of rivalry towards him. However, he does consider Deerrain to be unreliable.

Saturn: Cyrus is friends with Saturn and considers her to be reliable. However, he's completely unaware of her feelings for him.

Matchi: Cyrus is friendly towards Matchi, but is completely unaware of her feelings for him.

Ramby: Cyrus gets along with Ramby, surprisingly.

Cecil: Cyrus is distant towards Cecil.

Meevio: Cyrus sometimes gets annoyed by Meevio's antics, but is kind to him.

Pocky: Cyrus gets annoyed with Pocky's antics, but generally tolerates her.

Marin: Cyrus is nicest to Marin, for some reason.

Reese: Cyrus is close to Reese and considers him to be the one he trusts the most.
