ABOUT
“The hunger of a dragon is slow to wake, but hard to sate.”
Ryujin is generally as mature and serious much as his owner [Lucius]. Interesting enough, he also has high level of intelligence for a feral to the point that he is often mistake as not being one due his capability in speech. He often gets easily annoyed by others goofing off or drawing unneeded attention to themselves. He would prefer not to deal any more people than neccesary since he's not so much of a social butterfly. He mainly dislikes anything that he deems childish as well as being described as something close to a child. Ryujin can come off as being very cold, callous, and dispassionate dragon. In his defense, it's to help stop him from becoming too emotional as experiencing a stong emotion often triggers him to become more feral. Perhaps that's also why he tends to act rather aloof, brooding, and indifferent. His cold demeanor allows him to stay completely calm and in control in most situations, and he is not easily surprised or caught off-guard. However, he does not seem to comprehend the trait of fighting against all odds. Perhaps it's due to the fact he was trained to not think about such a thing so he doesn't overthink and become too overwhelm.
DESIGN
Design Notes
- On his right foot is his ID number [0254380].
- The form on the left is the form he commonly takes while the one on the right is a alternative form known as "Fervor Gaburias".
- His body is a tad bit more bulkier than those of regular and feral Garchomp with most of his muscles concentrated to his tail.
- He tends to often slouch often due to often having to look down to those on those who aren't Lucius.
BACKGROUND
THE STORY OF A GROUNDED DRAGON
In the world of Tellus, there exist two main types of Pokemon: Decorous and Feral. The decorous are the type of Pokemon that can be regarded as being the "humans" of the world. They have their own civlizations, carry a level of intelligence higher than Feral, carry the complex reasoning and introspection. Decorous are complex and bear resemblance to that of Pokemon we know and love. Ferals are the opposites. Most often refer to them as the being "animals" and "monsters" of the world. They are either slayed for their material/prevent them from harming others, respected as beings of nature or domesticated to the point they become pets. Ryujin is the latter.
Born to a Charizard Feral and a Garchomp Feral, Ryujin was a Pokemon that was bred by the Diamond's Domain Kingdom. In fact, Ryujin was meant to be a gift from Diana [Diancie] to Lucius for one of his birthdays. With Diamond's Domain being as advanced as it is, it's no surprise that Ryujin was taught things a feral wouldn't normally be able to grasp. This allowed him to better be able to aid Lucius on the little things such as understanding certain symbols and patterns. He doesn't have a relationship with his parents, though it's not as if he cared to as he's happy with his bond with Lucius. Much like Lucius, when the war between Diamond Domain and the Sea Kingdom happened, he lost his memories of what occured. However, he hasn't bothered to care about what happened to them. All he cares about is his owner's worry of missing his.
RELATIONSHIPS
Ryujin cares very deeply for his owner and is willing to kill anyone that upsets the man. Most Pokemon often say the two are twins with how similar they tend to act around each other.
Ryujin cares about Raiden. His level of care is equivalent to the same one a older brother has for their shitty little sibling. He gets a bit huffy if he feels Raiden is getting too close to Lucius.
Ryujin is very affectionate towards Elliot and often makes sure the boy doesn't get into too much. After all, this boy gets into too much to the point he can't be trusted to be alone.
Ryujin is perfectly fine with Lewis. Both of his owners are fond of him, and he's less of a headache than a certain frog. He's one of the few that he allows to touch and fix his scarf.
How do you expect Ryujin to like Ronin when Ronin makes it very clear that he hates him? He didn't do anything to deserve this level of hatred. As such, he often squints at frog.
Just because he has a thing for short gremlin ferals that has the tendency to be goofy as hell doesn't mean that Ryujin likes Jasper. You have absolutely no proof that he does.
Finn is a good kid. While he may be a little shy and gentle, Ryujin is very fond of the boy espesically when he's not as rude as a certain frog. He gently likes to carry him around.
Ryujin is very loving towards Haruto and often makes sure the boy doesn't get into too much. After all, this boy is a demigod, and the last thing he needs is anyone taking advantage of him.

Moveset
- Earthquake: The user sets off an earthquake that strikes every Pokémon around it. (Learned From TM)
- Dragon Claw: The user slashes the target with huge, sharp claws to inflict damage. (Learned Naturally)
- Swords Dance: A frenetic dance to uplift the fighting spirit. This sharply boosts the user's Attack stat. (Learned From TM)
- Fire Punch: The target is attacked with a fiery punch. This may also leave the target with a burn. (Learned From TM)
TRIVIA
- Ryujin has a better vocabulary than most ferals due to his time he spent with his owner.
- Ryujin took some time to work out in terms of what I wanted in his personality.
- If Ryujin had a canon voice, it would sound like this, though it's a tad bit deeper.
- I recently updated Ryujin's design due to how I never really had a consistent design for his claws, markings and his alternative form.
