There's no such thing as anyone being truly good or evil. Why do I say this? Well, all of us have different concepts of what is considered good and what is considered evil. We condition the next generation in continuing the tradition of what is good and evil in our images to ensure those words never die.

Likes

  • Training. Finding ways to get stronger is something Lucius enjoys. Of those things, training is the one he often relies on the most.
  • Books. The male enjoys spending his time reading as it's one of the things he tends to do whenever he needs something to do.
  • Lore of the Divine. Lucius enjoys spending his time learning more about the past and the origin of these legends.
  • Snow. There's nothing like walking across a white blanket of ice crystals in a area where there are very few active Pokemon.

Dislikes

  • Ignorance. Lucius absolutely dislike ignorant people. In his eyes, he believe they are a waste of space and time.
  • Ultra Beasts. Lucius was never a fan of the Ultra Beasts. He views them as unwanted pests that he has to get rid of.
  • His lost memories. He absolutely hates them espesically considering his memories are pulled into items known as 'Memory'.
  • Sleep. He hates sleeping because he always feel he's wasting his time doing so. He know the benefits that come with it but doesn't care too much about it.

Hobbies

  • Reading. That's a bit of given with Lucius being a Bibliophile. If you take him to a library, he will stay there for hours.
  • Book collecting. Why wouldn't this guy consider the idea of collecting them to read in his personal study?
  • Mineral/gemstone collecting. It's one of the few things that he has to remind him of his mom.
  • Exploration. How else is he supposed to find his memories and learn more about the world? Staying where he is doesn't accomplish anything at all.

Insider's Look Into Personality

When you first meet Lucius, the man presents himself as a quiet yet insightful Pokémon with noticeable maturity, wisdom and knowledge on a level that it could rival a Xatu. When you get to know him, you will notice he has a solitary, matter-of-fact attitude. He prefer the idea of keeping to himself and being blunt with his words. He is a selective with the people he interact with and sees no reason to lie (or be gentle) about how he feels about someone. His calm and detached demeanor originate from the male’s lost memories and his cynicism for what he views as being ‘classless mortals’. His naturally calm attitude is often used to his advantage in battle, as it becomes easier for him to maintain his composure and stay focus on the situation at hand. As a result, he can quickly adjust to any situation to make keen and thought-out decisions, allowing him to stay steps ahead of his opponents. Oddly enough, Lucius has shown no signs of arrogance, and is rather modest about his abilities. He is fully aware that there could be someone stronger than him and have a few tricks under their sleeves. This doesn’t stop the male from probing at other people’s abilities and commenting about their strengths and flaws they have in regards to them. He has no problems calling someone weak if they fail to impress him. However, if he stumbles on someone who he views as being powerful, it excites the male and brings out wild temperament that Silvally are often known to have.

Despite his usually stoic demeanor, Lucius does have an emotional side that rarely appears. The male has shown instances where he will not hesitate to lash out at those who seriously harm Raiden and Ryujin. This can often be proven to be quite a pain as it cloud his judgment, which may sometimes to the endangerment of himself and others. However, on the positive side of things, it does allow him to move away from that solitary, detached behavior that he finds himself consumed by. This allows him to see things that he wouldn’t be able to see when he is consumed by this attitude and leads him to understand emotions he never fully grasps. One of those emotions being love.

Summary of Appearance

Lucius takes the form of a large, quadruped, chimeric Pokémon. Lucius is shown to have a mechanical, lupine head. His snout is metallic on his nose bridge and upper jaw, both of which lead to a triangular black nose framed by three red lines. His upper jaw ends in a sharply pointed overbite, while his lower jaw has two visible fangs, one on each side. His eyes have white sclerae, golden irises, and no pupils. These eyes are mostly surrounded by black coloration, framed along the bottom by his upper jaw. On each side of his head is a circular, metallic port, with a white circle crossed by a metal line. The back of the crest on his head opens up, and three long spikes jut out of it. His two ears are short and pointed with black and red sections on their insides. A mane of silver fur hangs from below his head and covers his shoulders and chest. Most of his torso and legs is covered in short black fur. The lower half of each front leg is insectoid and green with spikes along the back. His rear legs have thick purple scales on the flanks, shins, and on the top of the foot. All four of his feet have three toes, but in the front two toes face forward and one backward. Additionally, the hind paws have a short, purple claw on the back of the ankle. His fish-like tail consists of two dark blue spines with a light blue fin stretched between them and a white membrane. The top spine has a line of short, gray white spike. Resting on his chest is a oval-shaped jewel that is purple in color. His front right leg is shown to have bandages covering the top of it with chains dangling off his neck.

  • The port for Lucius is capable of sliding out. This allows for him to be able to swap out whatever Memories he has at that moment.
  • Due to being a demigod, Lucius is capable of taking on a disguise form. This takes the appearance of a Alpha Hisuian Zoroark.
  • The jewel on Lucius's chest is what Lucius assumes to be the Jewel of Life. In actuality, it is a regular jewel that his mother has bestowed him prior to the War. In a later arc, this jewel would be crushed, leaving behind a nasty scar.
  • Lucius' appearance change whenever he uses the Ghost/Fairy Memory. His appearance looks like this: here.

Story

Summary

The Amnesiac God. The story of this character is that they start off with "Laser-Guided Amnesia" and is swept into extraordinary events. This being forgotten their powers and how to activate them. As time goes on, it becomes apparent that the character is not a normal person like they thought but a physical God or something very close to it. This isn't quite the case with Lucius. Lucius is a demigod who is aware of what he is and his position in life. He is knowledgeable of his powers and how to utilize them. However, he still lacks his memories. Memories regarding his creation and certain aspects of life that he views as being important to him. Memories in regard to what happened to the ones he considered to be his family and memories in regard to what happened to the place he called his kingdom. These are memories that he always craved in having as the lack of these memories have left him empty and cold.

For years, Lucius devoted his time traveling the world in search of his forgotten memories. Lucius memories were tied to strange devices that allow him to change types much like his father. However, it also allowed for the male to repair the damage that has been done to his mind from what triggered the memory loss. The best way to explain is that the Memories repaired the connection to his brain that would permit him to recall certain things. For example, the Water Memory would repair connections associated with the sea or anything to do with water. It may sound a bit ridiculous; but it works.

It wasn't until recently that Lucius' life change when he met Raiden. It didn't take much for Lucius to realize the two were a bounded pair known as 'The Regnum'. Bounded Pairs were supposedly two or more fated individuals that were supposedly meant to be together for eternity as the 'Gods' have chosen it. Those bounded are considered bless as a result. However, very few actually realize they are bounded pair as there are very few that exist in the world. Not only that but information about bounded pairs is quite scarce so it was hard to know what benefits and hindrances it had to offer.

Lucius wasn't disappointed by this. What that meant to him was that he had the opportunity to rely on someone to help bring forth his lost memories....at least so he thought.

The Story Of A CHImera

In the world before time and space, there was nothing. No berries. No land. No sea. No source of life. There was only nothing and chaos. From this chaos and nothingness, an egg appeared. It shook and quivered before hatching into a Pokémon. Not a normal Pokémon mind you. It hatched into the first Pokémon that came into existence and one that would be worshiped in the later years as the Original One. This Pokémon would be referred to as ‘Aipis’. Through his hooves and the help of his many creations, the male help create the world that Lucius and others would claim as their homeworld. Once his creations became capable of regulating their life without his aid, he settled down to Hall of Origin. He watched the mortals went about their day and the other Gods ensured the world was in balance. He deemed it to be fascinating especially when he acquire things about the mortals he wasn’t himself aware of. He observed how the mortals were quite the peculiar type. Their curiosity seems to result in them developing new ideas or advanced farther to the point that Pokémon became more civilized compared to some of their counterparts.

Some of their curiosity did at some point lead to Aipis having to intervene in a unfortunate situation.

It started when Solaris has appeared before him. It was rare to see the Sun God as he has spent most of his time in another dimension and had things to worry about there. Solaris reported to the Original One about the sighting of Ultra Beasts. Ultra Beasts weren’t consequently pests in Aipis’ eyes, but they certainly can be a bit troublesome to deal with due to their strengths and how they tend to react around Pokémon due to their sudden shift in environment from being placed in this world. What made Aipis a bit more worried was Solaris mentioning some rumors he overheard about mortals possessing creatures that bear the resemblance to Ultra Beasts that were disposed of though ‘Beast Killers’. Ultra Beasts were not creatures that a normal Pokémon would be able to handle so these Beast Killers were most likely creatures that may match up to the level of pseudo-legendary. Worried about the safety of the mortals, Solaris and Aipis went to confront the mortals about these Beast Killers.

However, when the two arrived, the mortals were revealed to have been killed by one of these Beast Killers. Aipis was caught off guard by the sight of the beast before him. It was a chimera of some sort based on its random assortment of parts. It was wild yet Arceus could feel it was unable to control itself based on its yowls and whines. It had siblings, though they were in a cryogenic stasis at the moment and had strange helmets fixed on their head. Aipis could sense this helmet was pushing something back. He wasn’t sure what. What he did know was the one currently freed was the one who managed to break freed and kill its captors. Its spikes and its fins were changing colors. Through the constant changing of colors, Aipis could almost feel its type constantly changing. This caught Aipis’ eye as he was the only one who actually carried that ability to change into all the types that exist in the world. This made Aipis curious about these creatures and studied the creature through the research that was left behind by the deceased mortals.

Through studying the notes their creators left behind, Aipis learned these creatures were originally known as Type: Full. Codenamed the “Beast Killers”, these creatures were meant to take care of the Ultra Beasts. It was given cells taken from all known Pokémon types (supposedly the more superior ones) with the intention of developing an ability to allow them to shift between types by holding a corresponding memory. This ability would go under the title of ‘RKS System’, a name that caused Aipis to quirk a brow due to its resemblance to his species name. A memory was a held item that Aipis soon realized was meant to be similar to the plates with the memories being inserted into a port of Type: Full. The three Type: Full rejected the RKS System and seemed to have gone berserk. This led to today where these creatures were to be subdued and fitted with limiter helmets to lessen the effects of the RKS System's rejection.

It disgusted Aipis to see these creatures were being used as a form of weaponry and the mortals were once again playing God (as something similar to this happened twice). Without even much thought, Aipis collected the three Type: Fulls and adopted them as his children. He called them Type: Null and assigned the name Silvally to their evolution. He freed the two Type: Full from their stasis and fitted the first Type: Null with the limiter helmet its siblings have. While Aipis disliked the strange device, it did help in ensuring the Nulls adjust to the RKS system at a leisurely pace. He then sent the three to be raised by three of his many Goddesses and named by them.

For Goddess of the Diamond Domain (Diana), she is the one who took the first Type: Null that Aipis was greeted with and raised him after assigning him the name of Lucius Sinclair. Lucius spent most of his life, drowning under literature that his mother would provide for him while undergoing the training needed from her Carbink. He was described as very gentle and empathetic individual that is considerate and loving to those who are close to him. He was also stated to be quite wise and intelligent to the point it almost rivaled the elder. It has been stated that Lucius was said to represent what it meant to be a Prince. Hell, there were even some whispers that the male has potential to become King the more he spent time with his mother. His evolution occurred as a result of his mother's encouragement in attempting to learn a move that he struggle with. The amount of love that oozed from the woman pushed him to not only master the move but snap freed from his helmet.

Then the war happened. The War involved that of the Sea Kingdom and Diamond Domain. It is unclear the reasoning behind why Diana and the Prince of the Sea Kingdom decided to battle. However, it is assumed it may have to involved disagreements between their ideals. What is known is the War itself was quite nasty and lead to severe damage to both sides. It is unclear what exactly caused the end of the War as records of the war and the two kingdoms have long since vanished. All except Lucius. However, there is an issue that makes getting this information a problem: Lucius himself has lost his memories.

The lost of Lucius memories has deeply troubled Lucius as it involved a kingdom that he once loved. Not only that but pieces of his memories regarding his creation has gone missing as well. It is because of that reasoning Lucius is currently going on a journey to recover his forgotten memories and hopefully recreate his fallen kingdom.

Lucius is a balanced Pokemon when it comes to his stats. His balanced stats combined with his decent movepool makes the male up a threat in battle. It also helps when you have the ability to change your moves on the fly. His strength does more so lie in attack and defense, making him similar to Lewis in that regard. Lucius is noted to have decently high stamina that allows the male to fight for a long time if the situations calls for it. However, he tries to focus on making the battle as short as possible unless the battle is entertaining him. After all, the last thing he needs is to have his time wasted. He does have minor healing regeneration. The male is able to sense a nearby Ultra Beast, though sensing a Ultra Beast trigger the male into wanting to kill the beast in question. I guess the best way to describe Lucius is that he's a Fighter that has the potential of becoming a Paladin. The times he needs to become a Paladin may be rare, but the option will always be there for him.

Strengths

  • Can change his types through Memories
  • Has very balanced stats
  • Very calculating with his attacks
  • Makes great use of environment/what is available around him

Weaknesses

  • Snaps at the sight of Ultra Beasts
  • Doesn't really excel in any stats
  • Often sticks to a specific Memory in battle
  • Very rarely changes up movesets unless he's really pushed into a corner
RKS System (Ability)
Natural Ability

Difficulty
Mastery

When Type: Null break free from their limiter helmets, they gain a ability that they once rejected due to the sheer power of it. This ability is once that often lead to it being associated to a God that is said to create the world: Arceus. RKS System changes the type of the Pokémon with this Ability depending on the memory attached. Memories are unknown discs that share some form of connection to the Elemental Plates with two typings merged into one disc. There are several of these Memories scattered across the world. It should be noted that most moves that attempt to suppress or change his ability fail.

Multi-Attack
Natural Skill

Difficulty
Mastery

Multi-Attack is a damaging physical Ghost/Fairy-type move that the Silvally line can naturally learn. This is Lucius' signature attack. To use this move, Lucius cloaks himself with an colored aura, then slashes the target with his claws. It should be noted that aura's color and attack's type match Lucius' current type currently is. Due to the mixture of the memory he has, the male has to think of what type he wishes to channel prior to using the move to avoid the possibility of typing of Multi-Attack being randomized. The move is a strong move for Lucius as the move is one that he would receive STAB of regardless on his current type.

Swords Dance
Learned Skill

Difficulty
Mastery

Swords Dance is a status Normal-type move that that he learned through a technical machine he received as a gift from Lewis. This is the only status move that Lucius actually has in his arsenal. To use this move, Lucius' eyes glow light-blue, as multiple light-blue swords circle around him. The swords stop and point towards Lucius, end first, before disappearing. As soon as that ends, a red aura then bursts from the ground underneath him, before a lighter-colored red aura goes upwards along his body. Swords Dance sharply raises Lucius attack, making the male quite deadly if he managed to use several Swords Dance.

X-Scissor
Natural Skill

Difficulty
Mastery

X-Scissor is a damaging physical Bug-type move that the Type Null line can naturally learn. This is one of the moves that Lucius kept when it came to dealing with ghost types. There are two ways for the male to use the move. The first way involves Lucius' claws glowing light blue, and the male swiping them in an 'X' formation, creating a light blue 'X' in front of him and tackling the opponent with the 'X' in front of it. The other way involves Lucius' claws glowing light blue and it swipes them in an 'X'-like fashion, firing an 'X' shaped light blue energy at the opponent. Out of the two methods, Lucius prefer using the first method as he does fight up close and personal.

Ice Fang
Natural Skill

Difficulty
Mastery

Ice Fang is a damaging physical Ice-type move Silvally can naturally learn. This is a move that Lucius rarely uses at times. To use this, Lucius' mouth glows light blue as a white mist seeps out of it. The male then bites down on the opponent, resulting in ice that started to form from his mouth to expands outward around the opponent's body. It should be noted that Ice Fang can results in a Pokemon to be partially (and sometimes fully) frozen. Lucius never really uses the move as he never really encountered a moment where he truly needed it. Sure, the ice move help take care of flying and ground Pokemon.

Psychic Fangs
Natural Skill

Difficulty
Mastery

Psychic Fangs is a damaging physical Psychic-type move that Lucius learned through technical machine he received in a cave. This is one of the fangs that Lucius tends to use the most. To use this, Lucius' mouth glows a bright pink as energy pools form his fangs. The male then bites down on the opponent and tears into them. What makes this move so useful is the fact that it can tear through Reflect, Aurora Veil and Light Screen when he makes contact with the source of the move. This remove the annoying obstacle of those moves weakening his attacks. Of course, this can be avoided if Psychic Fangs misses or the target is immune to or protected from Psychic Fangs.

Fire Fang
Natural Move

Difficulty
Mastery

Fire Fang is a damaging physical Fire-type move Silvally can naturally learn. While Lucius may not use the move too often, he at least use it more than Ice Fang. To use this move, Lucius's body becomes surrounded in a light-red aura. The inside of his mouth then becomes covered in flames and it bites down on the opponent. What makes this move so useful is the fact it has a chance to burn. There is a advantage of havng a Pokemon that's burned. Not only do they take damage as long as they're in battle, their attack is weakened quite a bit. You never know when a chance burn can actually save your life.

Inventory

Ghairy Memory

Lucius' prize possession is his 'Ghost/Fairy Memory' (or Ghairy Memory). This item is one of the few things that Lucius has of his life prior to losing his memories. Lucius has this memory within the port on the side of his mouth. When activated, this item has Lucius' ability change him into a Ghost/Fairy type. This is a unusual item as this memory was once two separate Memory: Ghost Memory and Fairy Memory. It is unclear what exactly caused these two Memories to merge into one.

Jewel of Life

Often seen on his chest is the Jewel of Life. The Jewel of Life is a object that Arceus is capable of forging through the help of his plates. The powers it hold varies based on what plates are used. Lucius isn't sure what plates forged his. However, he still cherish the object. However, unknown to him, this is not the Jewel of Life. In fact, this jewel is not something that Arceus made. This jewel was forged by Diancie to help her keep track of her son while she is away from him.

Trivia

General

  • Lucius was originally meant to be genderfluid as his gender would change based on what Memory he uses.
  • Lucius profile took way too long for me to make due to the fact I revised his backstory and family several times.
  • Lucius often use honorific suffixes when addressing most Pokémon.

Combat

  • I based most of Lucius' fighting style on Lewis' fighting style.
  • I originally considered the idea of changing his movesets based on the Memories he has but more or less decided to go against that for my sanity.
  • I decided to make him a physical attacker to contrast his partner: Raiden.

Social

  • Lucius was originally going to be shipped with Zygarde. However, this was changed to Raiden due to their dynamic.
  • The concept of making Lucius a character with amnesia stems from playing with the idea of Memory [held item] are bits and pieces of his memories.
  • Lucius has the tendency to grab Raiden by the scruff whenever the male do something stupid.

Design

  • Colors and the jewel on Lucius' chest are the details that people mess up the most in terms of his design.
  • People often make the mistake of attaching Lucius' jewel to the chain around his neck. It has given me a idea of a arc for later on involving it.
  • Lucius is one of the few characters that don't have anything extreme changes when it comes to how he looks compared to his species.

If you wanted to be truly honest, Lucius never cared about Raiden when he first met him. When Lucius figured out that he was his bounded partner, he never felt any form of excitement or annoyance. He simply saw the male as a possible tool to help him find his memories. As time went on, those feelings start to change. As he traveled the world with Raiden, the Jolteon taught him that how he needed to be open to new ideas and how he shouldn't shut himself away from the world that he grown cynical of. However, Raiden taught Lucius something that for years he never really had while he traveled through the world: what it meant to be in love.

Lucius had no plans on keeping Elliot. When he, Raiden and Ryujin found the young Pokemon by itself, Lucius was set on placing that boy in a orphanage since he did not want to endanger that kid. That and frankly he felt as if he couldn't handle dealing with Elliot when Raiden is already a pain in the ass. Of course, this changed when Elliot called him "papa". Even someone like Lucius couldn't resist taking in this destructive child under his wing. Most of the time, Lucius is a lot more softer when speaking to Elliot. He doesn't yell at him if he does anything wrong. He gently corrects him and teaches him how to avoid making that same mistake.

Lucius isn't the type who really calls people his friends. Lewis just so happen to be a exception to this. While Lucius doesn't want to admit it, he enjoys the conversations he has with Lewis and the time they spend being around each other. While Lewis is younger than Lucius, he does understand the world isn't as great as people make it out to be and how it can be a downright pain in the ass. The two have an easier time talking about mature subjects or having differing opinions from each other as they have a strong respect for each other. Lucius' and Ronin's relationship is quite a complex one. Lucius' and Ronin's conversations are often filled with snark and the occasional backhanded comment with a bit of witty banter. In one way, one can argue they are rivals. That word is probably the closest thing to understanding their relationship. For Lucius, he saw Ronin's temper and his overprotective behavior of his brother's safety to be a annoyance. For him, he find it strange for someone who was supposed to be a assassin and who was once next in line to take over in a clan to act so foolish.
