Backstory
Nova was born into a family of successful aura core engineers. Both her and her twin brother, Myr, were taught to work on the engines starting at a young age, but Nova took to it faster and with more passion. She enjoyed her tutoring sessions, and was incredibly excited to follow in her father’s footsteps. Originally the burden of the family business was one she and her brother were supposed to share, but that changed as they got older. Myr approached her late one night while Nova was working, wringing his paws and ears pinned back. He told her that he didn’t want a part in the family business, and that he wanted to leave home to become a pilot. Nova was supportive of his decisions, but the idea of running the business on her own caused her an intense amount of stress.
Nova threw herself into her work to compensate for Myr’s absence, and when her father stepped down from the head of the company she took his place with careful composure and grace. She eventually got the hang of her new workload, and was able to take more time to socialize with her peers. She often hosts small parties in her family home. Nova took to baking as a stress relieving activity, making large batches of cookies for the friends who came to visit. They aren’t very good, but she tries her best.
