Backstory
Valor grew up in Aethe Edge, and though he had a happy childhood there he left the home he grew up in fairly soon after becoming an adult in search of somewhere less frigid. He moved to a small apartment in the Pab’Zuaan capital with very little belongings, but he was excited by the thought of living somewhere he knew very little about. He opened up a small shop in his apartment, baking classic Galian treats in his small kitchen and selling them out of the front window of his ground level apartment. Valor spent his first few years living in the capital enjoying exploring the city, exploring tucked away shops and meeting interesting Ptithians.
Valor met Passerine years after his move. Valor had just set a pie out to cool on his windowsill when Passerine came barreling past, colliding with his sill. The pie flew through the air and got stuck in Passerine’s feathers. Valor couldn’t find it in himself to be angry, and instead burst into laughter at the ridiculously confused face Passerine was making. He invited the other dragon inside to wash up and get the sticky fruit out of his feathers. As the two dragons worked together, Valor found that he rather enjoyed Passerine’s company. They hung out a few more times, and after a period of awkward flirting Valor finally asked Passerine on a date, which he quickly agreed to.
Eventually they closed Valor’s little bakery and opened their own, larger restaurant together. They now enjoy a peaceful, domestic life in the home they built above their restaurant. And every once and a while, they bake a pie together to reminisce about their first meeting.
